Well, it was sold by United Wholesale Group to a subsidiary of theirs Shore Mortgage. Look up Shore Mortgage, I think my 7 year old could design a better, more complex and secure website and they charge you $7.50/mo to make a payment on the internet unless you fill out paperwork for withdrawals the same date each day of the month. I have left many messages with Shore demanding the loan be sold to a "real institution" and I have not had any resolution as of yet. The closing attorney was supposed to HOLD the check for 3 business days, rescind clause in New Hampshire but deposited the check the same day as the closing. Calls to his office, 2 of them to figure out what was going on were surprisingly never returned. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!! I cannot say enough about how organized and helpful they were through the entire process! Joe was just the best "Mortgage Dad" anybody could ask for. He did everything in his power to get us the best program and best rate we could. I had a million questions and every single one was answered in a timely manner with pinpoint accuracy. This is a very important factor as a young / inexperienced home buyer and Joe made us feel really comfortable with the entire process. Taking out a mortgage is not fun, but they make it easier and less intimidating. If I had to do it again I would chose Granite State Mortgage. I give it a grade A ++!!!

I was patient for the first 20 mins, but then got more & more annoyed that Freddy was still on the SAME phone call with the same member for over 35 minutes! He could have put the call on hold or called back to show some courtesy to the members like us that actually took the time out of our day to visit the branch in person. We finally just walked out the door without any service, I thought Align had more respect for their members and this was beyond disappointing.
