Long story short, after TEN WEEKS we still had no loan, and they couldn't even give us an estimate of WHEN or even IF we could get a loan. They told us 'soon' for a month and a half - clearly stalling. We went to Citizens Bank, opened an acct and had our HELOC cash in 3 weeks. Align are bozos. Don't waste your time. Look up Shore Mortgage, I think my 7 year old could design a better, more complex and secure website and they charge you $7.50/mo to make a payment on the internet unless you fill out paperwork for withdrawals the same date each day of the month. I have left many messages with Shore demanding the loan be sold to a "real institution" and I have not had any resolution as of yet.
