My mothers shrimp tasted too fishy, like a processing plant, batter was not seasoned but salty, if that makes sense. Potatoes, salty. She ate two shrimp and one bite of mash potatoes. Dads fried fish and steemed vegetables were good. Now to my sons pizza. My 17yo is a pizza addict. He literally eats pizza almost every day. Hunts Bros gas station pizza to be exact. He ate 1 slice. We each tried it at his urging. It was awful. The sauce had a strong red wine taste, the cheese was low quality and the crust was soggy under toppings and break your teeth hard crust. It was the only item we brought to the waitresses attention as it was $30.34 and inedible. The waitress agreed after touching the crust and brought it to the manager. Well, I guess 4 slices missing out of a giant pizza made it not eligible to be removed from the bill, but we would recieve a discount. Over 3/4 still on pan when thrown by waitress. They have a slightly sweet flavor that sets them apart, but it works. I usually balance it out with a Voodoo pizza, which is a great pairing and rounds out the meal well. The menu has a lot of solid options, but the wings are what keep me coming back. Every time I am in Lafayette, this is a stop I make. Consistently good food and a place that is easy to return to. Definitely a favorite for my daughter and I.
