Food was ok, nothing special. Our major complaint is that it smelled like a mop bucket. Friendly service though...

Did we miss the giant sign above the counter explaining it? Yes we did! Luckily, a sweet employee saw our confusion and brought us menus and took our order. We'll know next time to just order at the kiosk. I got the Original Shack Burger, my husband got the Cheeseburger and my FIL got the Local burger. We shared the loaded Comeback fries. Husband got the limeade, I got lemonade, and FIL got Strawberry Lemonade. We all loved everything so much. You can really taste the freshness of the burgers here. My burger was so juicy! I loved the bun and the toppings were just right. Our loaded fries were delicious. I'd definitely order them again. The inside dining area isn't huge but they have a lot of outdoor and patio seating. It was a nice enough day today where these outdoor areas were pretty full. We were there on a Friday between lunch and dinner in the middle of June. While we sat we watched the dining room fill up and the drive thru get busy. By the time we left about 4pm there was a wait for a table.

But I wiggled my vehicle into a tight spot and went in for a burger and a beer. I believe there were about 10 to 12 options available on tap, and I went with what was listed as an Irish stout from somewhere in the Northeast. It wasn't bad, though it seemed more like an imperial stout. My sandwich choice was the Cowboy, with ground elk at its core. It was a good choice too, and the accompanying fried onions and melted cheese complemented the meat well. I ordered the burger medium, but I think I'd go for medium rare if I could go back in time. The medium option wasn't bad, but I think a little less heat and a little more moisture would only make things better. I kept things simple with the side item, going for the fries which were of the thinly sliced McDonald's variety, not bad but nothing remarkable. The server covering my table was pleasant and prompt, though soft spoken so I occasionally had to ask her to repeat herself amidst the music and noise. I wouldn't call any of these selections a bargain, but the prices didn't veer too far from what you'll find in many burger joints. All in all, not an earthshaking experience, but a place I'd be willing to go back to. 3.5 stars.

Eight friends came from several miles away to meet for dinner. We were the only diners on a Thursday eve at 5PM and 3 barstool patrons. The only waitress was friendly enough but needs training. Ordering drinks I asked what kind of gin they had? Her response was, "I don't think we have that". What bar doesn't have gin? I could plainly see the unmistakeable Tanqueray and maybe Beefeater bottles on the shelf. I told her to ask the bartender for a TnT. It took 30 minutes to get everyone a water, beer or cocktail. We ordered food which took 1.5 hours to get to the table. We were wondering where our food was as we watched the ENTIRE staff go outside and start vaping. Even the bartender. No staff were inside anywhere we could see. Half of us were OK with the food quality. 2 ordered crab cakes which they had on previous visits and liked them. They were delivered to the table without the roumalade sauce descibed on the menu. When asked about it the waitress went to the kitchen and returned saying "we don't have any, we will have to make it". Seriously. She showed up with some about 15 minutes later. One diner complained her crab cakes were underdone and the other was way overdone. No consistency. When weasked for more rolls she said "we don't have anymore, it will take 20 minutes to bake them". After everyone was served, But Me, I asked where my food was. The waitress said it's coming. Yes, it came 15 minutes later so I presume I was forgotten. The bacon on my bleu burger was way underdone so I removed it. Obviously a rushed plate. I should have taken pics of the substandard food. Our group meets every 3rd Thursday and we had patronized this establishment several times in the past. It was unanimously agreed that we will not return.

We love her- she is the sweetest and always has a big smile on her face! Everything that everyone ordered was very tasty. We all shared an order of fried green tomatoes which were very good. I ordered the cranberry glazed salmon with a beet side salad and glazed carrots. The salmon and the carrots were tasty. The beet salad was AMAZING! It was a spinach salad topped with super sweet golden beets and goat cheese, served with a vinaigrette. The goat cheese was sooo super smooth and dreamily creamy! I absolutely loved this combination! (Please put these two salads on the permanent menu!!) Our other orders included the prime rib with corn and a strawberry salad, and a sirloin with french fries and Mac and cheese. The prime rib melts in your mouth, and was delicious with the creamy zingy horseradish. The strawberry salad was served the same as the beet salad- with spinach, goat cheese, and balsamic dressing on the side which was very tasty as well! The water is also good! I'm a little picky about water at restaurants and this water is super smooth, no weird tastes, and very good! One note on ambiance: I think the restaurant could be elevated with a more classic music choice- pop music doesn't quite match the vibe or the food served. Everything we ordered was phenomenal! We also got a banana pudding to go which was tasty and you can definitely tell it's home made. I will absolutely be coming back to try more of the menu and bring friends and family! Be sure to say hi to Christina, and tell her I sent you!

Please do not patronize Creek Bottom Brewing…read more It is not a safe place for women or children. Creek Bottom is at the center of a local controversy involving a young man named William Ayers. In 2023, Ayers was convicted of child rape (carnal knowledge of a child) and abduction. He was released from prison last year, back into our community. Upon his release, Creek Bottom Brewing began employing him to work in the brewery--as a known convicted child sex offender. In February, while working for Creek Bottom, Ayers was arrested AGAIN for ANOTHER sexual assault, strangulation, brandishing a firearm, and abduction by force. It got a little media attention as the "Valentine's Day Rape." Recently added to his list of charges is possession of child porn and sexual abuse of an animal. Where does Creek Bottom come in, beyond offering a job to a known child sex offender? William Ayers' parents are the owners of Creek Bottom. They made the choice to employ him at their brewery, along with their many young women employees and the families who visit the restaurant. Our dollars spent at the brewery unwittingly went directly towards Ayers' paycheck. Many community members feel that Creek Bottom's owners have made horrendous decisions that endanger our community by choosing to have their son employed at the brewery, and by supporting/enabling him in other ways. It is readily apparent that Ayers' parents employ pricey high-powered out-of-town attorneys to defend their son from his charges. (Courtroom interactions between those attorneys and the father of William Ayers reinforce this, with the attorneys pulling Daddy Ayers aside for extended conferencing before making motions.) A couple of days ago, Ayers was offered bail set at $900,000. That means that if his supporters/enablers come up with a $90k bail bond agent fee, or $900k on their own, Ayers will AGAIN be released into our community. All of this is a matter of public record: past convictions, state sex offender registry that showed Ayers working at Creek Bottom until his latest arrest, ownership of Creek Bottom, recent charges, and ongoing court case with private legal defense. All members of our community can and should make their own INFORMED choices here. Sending your money in Creek Bottom's direction could literally help lead to this individual being released into our community once again. Endanger the wealth that is supporting him, and we may be able to make a real difference for community safety. Please don't unwittingly contribute to a William Ayers legal defense fund or to bailing him out to walk among us again. If you see fit, stand by us in this effort.
