Nice design
Britney C.

I very much enjoy this place..I've only been here twice but never had a problem with the service. They have over 20 different wines for you to sample plus more to buy and a great selection of fruit wines. My favorite is the peach and flagship port which has a little more umph to it. They have plenty of wine accessories including openers, wine racks for the floor and wall, and decorations. I purchased a wall rack and I purchased a floor rack along with 8 different bottles. The older ladies were nice to me and helped me find what I wanted even though it took me a while to find exactly what I wanted. Only downside is that they never seem to have the items in the back room preboxed. I purchased both my items from the display. Then they put them in trash bags if they are too big! A little cheap if you ask me. Other than that I'm very pleased with this winery.

Bella Terra Vineyards - The winter igloos

Bella Terra Vineyards is a winery, restaurant, and event venue in the small town of Hunker in…read moreWestmoreland County. It sells a variety of dry and sweet wines (e.g., red, white, rose, sparkling, and cider), cocktails, mocktails, and beers. Some vineyards are on the grounds as are many barrels and bottles of wines. The restaurant has both indoor seating and seasonal outdoor seating in lakeside cabanas and winter igloos. It is open for brunch/lunch and dinner. It is a nice setting for daily dining as well as special events such as weddings, bridal and baby showers, and private parties. Furthermore, the website lists activities such as bingo, painting and candle-making classes, live music with dancing, and more. For my husband and me, I made a reservation for lunch in an igloo. Our igloo was large enough to fit eight people and cost $50 plus foods and drinks. A larger "party dome" fits up to 14 people and has a fee of $75. The temperatures outside were very cold, but our igloo was kept warm by an electric fireplace and a zippered door. Throughout our meal, our waitress provided timely and friendly service. The Bistro menu listed shareables (e.g., pretzel sticks and charcuterie board), several smash burgers, several flatbreads, mains (e.g., fish and chips, cajun chicken pasta, and quinoa bowl), several salads, several handhelds (e.g., turkey melt, veggie wrap, and Italian panini), many sides, and a couple of desserts. Prices were moderate. (The menus for Sunday Brunch and a group Gathering differ.) The waitress first brought our Sweet Wine-Cookie Flight (4.5 stars), which consisted of the following pairs: Diamond Reo with Brown Sugar Pop Tart, Sweet Finley with Chocolate Salted Caramel, Riesling with Cookies and Cream, and Rose Cider with Strawberry Crunch. The wine glasses came in a wooden box, which was slightly too small, so I needed several minutes of time to carefully pull each wine glass out of the box. I, however, did enjoy the sweet flavors of the wines and cookies. Next our waitress brought out our shareable and two mains. The Hummus Plate (4.5 stars) consisted of fresh and tasty hummus, feta, olives, top seedz crackers, tomatoes, cucumbers, green and red peppers, carrots, celery, and tzatziki. My main course was Crab Cakes (4 stars) with a substituted side of salad. Two crab cakes were a decent size of 4 ounces each, but I would have preferred more crab meat. I liked the garlic aioli. My husband's main course was the Cali Burger (4 stars) with a side of fries. In a brioche bun, a beef patty was topped with fontina cheese, applewood-smoked bacon (which he would prefer be crispier), avocado, avocado ranch, lettuce, and pickles (which he commented were nicely crunchy and sweet-sour) (no tomato at his request). The total price for the flight, shareable, two mains, and a soda was $98 plus sales tax and tip (plus the earlier $50 fee for the igloo).

An elite event venue too!!…read more Me work hosted a retirement celebration at Narcisi Winery.. and the simple elegance is even more apparent in the private event space and preparations! From coordinating the entree choices to ensuring everything would be perfect, the event staff is clearly an expert in throwing a good event! The space is stunning! The touches in the space make it feel so intentional. They have a separate entry and parking lot available around the back of the building. The room is secluded from the restaurant to where you wouldn't even realize that you were there! You do share the bathroom, but it feels like it is for your event space! For the meal, I had the: Chicken Picatta - they served me three chicken breasts, perfectly seasoned and coated with a mashed potato that I will try to recreate and a seasonal blend of vegetables Tiramisu - this bad boy oozed coffee and was well balanced in sweetness The wait staff perfectly cleared the courses and served without interfering in the speeches or festivities. They simply asked that we provide placards to indicate the meal for each person and they handled everything else to perfection!

I'm so thankful for all the memories I got to make here with her and my pap, and now getting to keep making them with my mom. We sat outside because that's our spot, and we Uber because we know ourselves well enough to know we're not leaving with empty hands. Now, let's talk food. The burrata salad was fresh and exactly what I was looking for. Mom got the veal tortellini, which I tried and can confirm was GOOD. Naturally, this resulted in a little order envy. Should've trusted the pasta instincts. Instead, I apparently had something to prove to the protein department and ordered the Delmonico. I asked for rare/medium-rare and got well-done, tough steak instead. I hate sending food back, but this one was putting my jaw to work, so back it went. The New York strip was better, but I think we've established that I need to stop straying from my true love: a thick filet. In hindsight, I should've ordered pasta like I know I should when I come here. The tortellini was making a VERY convincing argument. The steak experience could've been a busy-night hiccup, but the overall experience is why I'll keep coming back. Between the wine, food, live music, and the gorgeous outdoor space, Narcisi has a little something for everyone. It's especially hard to beat in the warmer months, right into early fall. Some places are worth returning to for the atmosphere. Some for the food. And some because they hold pieces of people you wish you could sit across the table from one more time. Maybe not that big a deal, but a lot of the Pour Tour locations don't have their own parking so this' is a big plus. I love the atmosphere inside. Rustic, but with some modern flair. A bit dark, but also light enough to see what you need to see. There are a variety of seating options including standard tables, high tops and seating at the bar. I chose to sit at the bar since I was there on my own. My server was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. She shared information about the winery and some of the most popular wine and food items. After sampling several, I settled on a glass of the playhouse red blend and one of their specials - a grilled cheese and tomato bisque. The soup was creamy and delicious and the grilled cheese comfort food perfection. Food came out fairly quickly and my server was attentive to my needs without being pushy. I really enjoyed my experience here and will definitely be back, hopefully for one of their events or maybe a visit in their fun looking igloos.

And wow... absolutely delicious! We happily grabbed a bottle of their Cab Franc to enjoy with dinner and it paired perfectly with everything. We started with the ricotta toast: homemade ricotta, sun-dried tomatoes, roasted red peppers, and garlic oil. Absolutely delicious. I honestly never even knew homemade ricotta could taste THAT good! For dinner, I got the salmon special with a white wine sauce over a bed of chickpea ragù, and I seriously could not stop eating it. So flavorful and perfectly cooked. The fettuccine Alfredo with chicken was INSANE -- rich, fresh, creamy, and you could immediately tell the Alfredo sauce was homemade and made fresh to order... definitely not from a jar. Soooo good! One of the best parts was the chef personally making rounds to check on guests and get feedback. Every table seemed to have nothing but positive things to say. Amazing food, amazing atmosphere, amazing experience. We already can't wait to go back. Make this a must-try ASAP!

He personally greeted my party when we arrived and even offered us some free samples. Our server was very attentive. Perhaps a little too much at the beginning. My party felt a bit rushed when making our selections. The only other not ideal thing was when we ran out of dippers for the baked brie we were given a hard time when we asked for more bread. We were given two slices of baguette. That was odd. On the bright side, the baked brie was delish!! I left typsy and full with a smile on my face. I'm very content with my experience there. I'm not in a rush to come back, but I had a good time.
