I started when I was in the best shape of my life, I went when I was "shredding for the wedding", and now I am a new mom working on my postpartum fitness goals. John, the owner gives great advice not only about fitness but nutrition too. He has even written a few books! The class sizes are small and allow for a lot of one-on-one attention. All of the members are extremely friendly and welcoming to anyone new. I also love that John creates specific workouts for each class. I never have to think about what I'm going to train that day, and if you go regularly you'll be able to incorporate both HIIT cardio and strength training. John's wife, Samantha teaches yoga once a week and it is the best yoga class I've ever taken! You will feel so stretched out and relaxed after taking her class. If you're looking to switch up your fitness routine and get in shape I highly recommend trying metabolic!

I appreciate the nutrition aspect of the gym as well. The different varieties of classes always makes the work outs fly by. There are three different types of classes offered multiple times throughout the week; TNT, muscle and hustle, and meltdown. Each class has a 3-week progression to help build strength and endurance. TNT is strength training with six exercises total; three for the upper body, and three for the lower body. I have gotten so strong taking this class. Muscle and hustle is a mix of strength training and cardio. And meltdown is an hour of straight up cardio. If you're not breaking a sweat after this class then you're doing it wrong! At various times there's also different pop-up classes. The newest class on the block is pump. It has the same structure as meltdown but also using lightweights. There is also a class just dedicated to abs, call deck of core. There are many members that are at many different levels. But we all support one another. I've never met such a great group of supportive people as I have here.

They give great coaching and direction and will provide options to accommodate injuries or limitations. Their classes are a unique blend of strength, cardio and hiit but the foundation is weight training. Each day has a focus and flows into the next so you train evenly and don't risk overtraining any particular body part. They have a separate LIT area where they offer yoga, body pump, dance sweat and Pilates classes. Members get all of this for a price that is less than just about every group fitness studio in the area. They smartly located a bit off the beaten path but super convenient to get to from all the surrounding neighborhoods in central bucks county so your membership fee isn't going to pay for rent in an expensive shopping center. This place is a "diamond in the rough". Finally, you will see your neighbors and friends here and if you don't know anyone you will quickly be welcomed into the Bria community. No pretentiousness... just normal people trying to optimize their fitness. Give it a try you won't be sorry.

I pieced together my own training plan and was happy with how I did. However, when I met Nick and started training for my second half marathon, I realized that I had gone about my first half marathon training all wrong. With his help, I was able to cut my time by 8 minutes and beat my goal time! I also PRed in my 10K and 5K races (shaving 2 minutes off my previous fastest 5K) and ran my fastest mile EVER (like faster than I was in high school)! The things I like best about training with Nick are that I'm accountable to someone else (which helps motivate me when I may not want to get out there), I don't have to think about my training program in advance- I can just go and do what I'm told to do, and that I have access to someone who is incredibly knowledgable about physiology, endurance training, and the mental side of racing. He has helped me recover from injury, improve my times, set ambitious new goals, expose me to other sport options, and meet a great group of people through Team P3.

Nick is super knowledgeable and has a well rounded knowledge of fitness as it applies to multiple sports (running, cycling, etc.). He is also overall fun to be around which is important when looking for a coach/trainer. Nick spends time understanding your needs as an athlete and adjusts accordingly. It's certainly not a one size fits all approach. His group training sessions feel inclusive and are relevant to all levels of athletic ability. They are certainly challenging but that's why you're there! During the workout, he checks-in regularly and gets feedback on how you're feeling and may make adjustments (e.g. increase or decrease intensity). I've also participated in two of his running clinics and have seen significant improvement in my running both in terms of pace but more importantly the technical and body mechanics. Bottom line - If you're looking to take that next step toward your athletic goals P3 Fitness is the way to go!
