I belonged to a regular gym for years and hated to go workout. When I did go I would get bored of…read morethe elliptical or treadmill and was always afraid of being looked at weird while using the weights or doing it wrong. The classes at the regular gym were always packed to capacity, with no room to move. I found Fuse and am always motivated to schedule a class daily with the user friendly app. I don't feel like I am wasting away monthly memberships like at a regular gym. Fuse is the place where you don't feel like people are looking at you differently and the small classes make for a great workout! Pete and Sebastian are great motivation when you don't think you can push anymore they tell you, you can.

I love Fuse Fitness and Performance, you can find me there most days of the week. I have been…read moreworking out with Pete for almost 5 years, I amazed the difference in my strength, my balance and all the things that my body can do that it could not do before. The workouts are challenging but Pete and Sebastian always make sure we are working out without injuring ourselves. They take time to explain the proper way to do each exercise and modify if you need. I not only love the classes and the trainers but the atmosphere is great, there are people of all shapes and sizes and you don't ever feel silly asking a question or needing something explained again. I have been to many gyms and worked out literally all over the world and I think Fuse is the best!

This gym is awful...classes are supposed to be at least 50 minutes and according to my Apple Watch…read morethey are only, at the most, 35 minutes. Owner, Lou, is an extremely rude guy. I was supposed to get nutrition info from him and I guess he forgot I was coming, so I got an attitude. He got his info from an app online!!! Wtf, I could of did that myself! Now I see why he has bad reviews! He came up to me at the end of class saying that he was sorry for the way he was acting. Guess what, apology not accepted! He gave me a hard time when I told him I did not want to be weighed during my membership period. Isn't it MY CHOICE whether I want to get weighed or not? Apparently not at this gym, acted like they had the right to tell me what to do since I pay them monthly, lol. So glad that I only signed up for 6 months and not a year! This place is a cult, save your money and please go elsewhere!

This is focused on the 6 week challenge and the boot camp classes/regular monthly membership…read moreexperience. The main population in these groups are women. Most of these women are overweight and looking for help in losing weight. I was one of these women. This review is two-fold: one good and one not-so-good. The good is the core of the program is solid. The meal plan and workouts work if you follow them. If you do what you are supposed to do: you will lose weight. You will find peers who are working towards similar goals and accountability with weekly weigh-ins. The program worked for me and I lost weight and inches and began a new lifestyle. I am very grateful for this and the help that The Iron Will staff provided me with along the way. Now the bad. People skills. Customer service. Organization. Communication. Consistency. Okay, you are in a people business. You say you want to help people and improve lives. You meet women mostly at a vulnerable point in their lives. They are emotionally drained and unhappy with themselves and you promise them help. You fall short here. You fall short on properly supporting women emotionally during their journey. Your communication skills are subpar and borderline abusive in general. My personal experience was horrible and was verbally abused by the owner. There are countless YouTube videos of the owner yelling obscenities at members. During the most extreme situation, I was asked to talk and agreed. I was then in a position of being "talked to" by the 2 Iron Will coaches. I was verbally attacked and insulted for choosing to workout at another gym and I was falsely accused of promoting another fitness business. I demanded proof but was denied. I was berated for having not worked out at Iron Will for "some time," which was 10 days. I have paid my monthly dues - so who's business is it where I decide to go? This is following 7 months of my membership and loyalty to Iron Will where I provided free business coaching and advice (I am a certified self employed coach and consultant), spoke for free on my time to a group of potential new members promoting Iron Will, and provided constant online information and support to fellow Iron Will members. So, yes the program works. But I cannot recommend it to others. Not after being treated in such a poor manner. Yes, run your business, but be a person first. When you are talking to the women who come through your doors: picture your wife, your mom, your daughter, your sister - treat your clients how you would want others to treat these women in your life.

My son attended 2 weeklong camps here this summer: Bugs and Slugs, and Swim Camp. He enjoyed both,…read morethough he said there weren't many Bugs and Slugs in that session, but they got to swim a lot, which he loved. And of course, there was plenty of swimming during Swim Camp. The pool is fantastic, with an awe-inspiring slide. He made a goal to go down that slide 200 times during his 2 weeks, and I believe he succeeded. Lifeguards are spot-on, and they test all the kids to make sure they're capable of swimming in the deep end: those who can get to wear a neon colored bracelet for easy identification. In addition to the pool, there are beautiful fields and picnic areas, and a sizable gym for rainy day activities. Great location in the outer reaches of Hamilton Township. Most of the counselors we encountered were great, too. Well-trained, helpful, and friendly. The camp sessions are on the costly side, but the quality of the programs makes it worth it. My only complaint is that check-out is a nightmare. I bypassed that chaos on most days by arriving a bit early and signing my son out - a staff member would bring him to me that way. The kids and their counselors were all rounded up and assembled by that time, anyway - about a half hour prior to dismissal, so I don't believe I was throwing a wrench into the process (hopefully). I like to follow rules, generally speaking, but waiting in that line in the hot sun was just nuts. Other than that, the summer programs at the Y were great experience for my son.
