I called the guys at Boyd(I dealt with Robin) and he helped me figure out a way to get the van to them quick and easy, with little to no disruption to my schedule. That to me is worth its weight in gold. The repairs were done within a few days and they even took the time repair something else within the cabin that wasn't covered under ICBC(a small task to them but would have been much more difficult for me to try and repair). After clarifying with my Sales Agent at the dealer about this problem, I decided to also talk to Broco's Customer Service Agent Luke at the shop, to help me understand the difference of getting a replacement one vis-a-vis an original one. Luke was very helpful and even went out of his way to come out to my car, to show me and fully explain the difference. His gesture and explanation was more than good enough for me to finally decide to proceed with the installation. His professional courtesy and "extra mile" extended is much appreciated. John, the owner, could've gouged me for a lot more money like most dealerships would have and I never would've known. Instead, he was honest and straight up. Had the problem figured out in about 10 min, told me to go buy the parts myself and save their markup, and it would be an easy fix he'd have done in about half an hour. True to his word, I was in and out, and all for an EXTREMELY reasonable cost. I also have a cracked driver's' side mirror that I've been avoiding fixing as it was too expensive through Mazda, but I've now ordered one through Apple as I know it'll be another fast and easy fix. Being new to Nanaimo, so happy I lucked out finding these guys on my first repair and can't recommend them enough. Love "service" businesses that get that taking a little less up front almost always guarantees long-term relationships in the end. I will definitely use Apple for any other repairs and wanted to take a minute and commend them for their excellent service, rates, and honesty. The guy was very helpful and spent almost an hour to fix it for me and then did not wanna get paid for it at all eventhough I insisted. So I went back after getting the new motor and they replace it for me very quickly ( no more than 15 mn all in all) and they charged me a very little 20 bucks service fee. Best of all is that the staff is well aware of the customer's time and call me back with updates on claim process and what my options were. Very satisfy with the service and the workmanship on the replacement window was great as well. They broke one of the wiper arm cap but ordered me a new one and replaced the broken one. I brought my Carola to them after a parked car opened their door into the side of my car as I was reversing into a parking space leaving a pretty ugly scrape all the way down my side door. Costumer service was awesome, got my car in the next day. Dealt with ICBC without me having to do anything, and hooked me up with a courtesy car that was much nicer than my own (my wife didn't want to give it back). When I did pick up my car I was stunned. They truly went way above and beyond and had the car both cleaned and polished. I had some preexisting very noticeable cracks on the rear side panel that they had taken care of for free, and they had even gone so far as to leave me a little gift bag on my seat. I was really stunned at how far they went to make sure I had a great experience and that my car was in much better shape than before. I really can't recommend 24hr highly enough. They really go way beyond what is expected, do quality work, and make you feel valued.
