I was quoted $120 per strap end, which seemed wildly overpriced. . Thankfully, I decided to get a second opinion and went to Mike's Shoe Repair on Topanga & Dumetz. I'm so glad I did! Mike charged $20 per side, and the quality of the work is outstanding. The repair is so clean it looks like the damage never even happened. If you're considering Savignar, I'd strongly recommend shopping around first. I felt taken advantage of as though he saw an expensive brand and I'd spend anything. As for Mike's, it's a hidden gem, honest service, fair pricing, and excellent craftsmanship. Highly recommend supporting businesses that are fair... brand or not. Very disappointed as I know Savinar to be in the community a long time but maybe will pay unreasonable charges.
