Let me start off by saying we have eaten at a total of 8 Michelin star restaurants. My husband and I reserved a table for two for our wedding anniversary. Around an hour before our reservation there was a suicide on Elizabeth line, which suspended all service to the restaurant. As I looked for an alternative way to get to the restaurant one time with my husband called to inform them of the situation. They were quick to tell us that their policy does not allow them to cancel our reservation but that we would still be charged in full for a meal that we would not have eaten. While I understand business is business, there was no empathy or compassion for the situation. We finally arrived 35 mins late to find out that they did already cancel our reservations and CHARGED us for meal we had not had. This establishment is not only pretentious, but lacks the necessary class, staff or guest services to operate as a luxury scale brand. Faux candles, wilted flowers and having to refill my own glass is hardly luxury. If you have a special occasion avoid this disaster. read more
