Wow, I was truly blown away by this place! It is a casual small biz, feels like a three person operation at most, serving the best Uyghur cuisine out there! The flavor profile is like East Asian meets Turkish. Highly recommend the noodles! The hand pulled noodles are so fresh and chewy, my friends and I ordered the vegetarian Qoruma Chöp to start, but then ordered the Leghman too because we loved it so much!
We also loved the Tufu (tofu), which had a savory butteriness to the stir fry sauce. It really hit all the umami notes and the rice was perfectly cooked to accompany. Other highlights were the Polu/Pilaf, which was stewed lamb with rice and vermicelli salad--highly recommended by the staff. We also loved the cold salads appetizers we got, the Lighildaq and Oy Salad, marinated with chili and vinaigrette.
The service was top tier and so friendly, it is also extremely difficult to find vegetarian-friendly Uyghur food, so this was a treat for the vegetarians. Will definitely be back to try more, but will be dreaming about the noodles for a long time! read more
