About to depart this wonderful B&B, but wanted to take few minutes to give them an overdue review…read more I've stayed in four of the five guest rooms over at least eight different stays and can't recommend the Copper Beech highly enough. Owners Linda and Bill have created a lovely and calming atmosphere throughout this historic home. Classic and uncluttered, all the rooms are spotlessly clean and appointed with comfortable beds and well chosen simple decor. Certainly not the stereotypical lace, floral wallpapered and wall-to-wall dusty antique kind of B&B. Breakfast is always delicious, as are the frequent evening cookies left on the entry table for guests to enjoy at the end if the day. Will continue to make this our home-away-from-home when visiting our Bucknell student.

Bill and Linda were extremely welcoming and friendly. The home itself is beautiful and meticulously furnished. After a day of work-related travel, coming back to soft music, a glass of sherry, and chocolates was probably among the nicest travel experiences I've had. If you're curious about the history of the home, the rooms also feature a picture book with facts about the home and pictures of all the guest rooms. I enjoyed reading it over while having a glass of tea from the Keurig in the upstairs hallway. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip through Pennsylvania... and next time I might stay longer!

The inn has a historic library with books dating to the Revolutionary war. Your hosts. Deb and Jack, are friendly and take a lot of pride in their renovated historic building. I had never been to the town before and was pleasantly surprised with all of the little restaurants on the main road in town. The Inn itself was perfect, and clean, and quaint in this magnificent 150 year old building. We stayed in "Grampa's Room" which was wonderful with a very large and comfortable bed, but the best thing was the breakfast which surpassed anything we had ever had at any B&B before. The owner actually made the bread for the scrumptious French Toast served to us in an elegant dining room that I could have stayed in forever. Now they aren't cheap at over $1.00 a piece but you won't be disappointed. I ordered a dozen. I are 6. My friend Ed ordered 18. He got through 10-12. The do upcharge you if you want all flat or all drum. This a good beer and wings place, a few good micros on tap if your not a bud/colors drinker. The sides are table/family size. We got tater tots. It was beyond huge and we ate about 1/2. Sorry I did not take any photos of the wings.

This was on our list of places but we called around to several other inns first. They were all booked so we ended up here, what luck! The Inn is a few homes down from Main Street Bloomsburg which has several restaurants and other activities to choose from. It is owned and operated by George and his wife (didn't catch her name). The place is large with several common rooms, snacks, and a wrap around porch. There is a side door and you get a key so you can come and go as you please. Our room had a comfy bed, large bathroom, and direct tv. In the morning George cooks an amazing breakfast and I can almost promise the other guests will join you. Overall, I would highly recommend this to parents of Bloomsburg students or anyone looking to get away for the weekend. As a Knoebels enthusiast I was not sure how far this place would be and it turns out it is super close. Don't think twice about staying here!

We have come to know Peggy and Tony (the owners) as friends and we wouldn't even think of staying anywhere else in the area. The rooms are clean, beautiful and comfortable. Peggy is a great cook and Tony plays a mean ukulele. One of the rooms has its own bathroom and the other two share a bath. They are all great. You can't go wrong.

Kinda hard to gauge these places as there is a wide breadth in quality for a lot of these items. My party received the crab fries and I got the fried haddock. The crab fries were excellent. Enough crab and cheese for each individual fry. I forget the specific sauce but I found myself dunking frequently. The fried haddock was light, flaky whitefish but filling. The tartar sauce was excellently tangy and refreshing. I have a feeling they make it in-house. I had two beers and the tab came out to around $40. For a Friday evening, I would call this a high quality experience to banter with friends or coworkers.

The food is on point, the faces are familiar and welcoming the atmosphere is warm and the patio is beautiful. Tonight we celebrated my mom's birthday. My parents love the fish dinner. The crab fries are my go to. This night happened to be steak night. We shared the sharing steak board special and it did not disappoint and fed 3 adults and a toddler! Desserts were yummy as well. While I get the raspberry cheesecake every chance I get if they have it, tonight we had the blueberry and banana deserts. And they were amazing!
