Our stay here was extremely enjoyable. The front desk staff was so helpful. We came hours before check in, but they were able to find us a room and even sent a complimentary bottle of wine for my birthday. The room was thoughtfully and tastefully decorated, with a very comfortable couch, bed, and bedding, and the robes were so soft I didn't want to get dressed. The real highlight of the stay was the pool. It is right on the water, with an incredible view of the harbor, and has plush loungers and towels. The bar service was not great - there never seemed to be enough servers - and the drinks were wildly overpriced and tiny. But that is kind of to be expected in this type of environment. Still, this was a very relaxing experience and worth the stay. They also have a house car you can check out like a library book, and e-bicycles (although they were not in service during our stay). read more

Sagamore Pendry is probably the nicest hotel in Baltimore. It's the perfect staycation as a Marylander. The property is beautiful and the location is ideal. I make it a point to stay once every summer to enjoy the pool as that is the highlight in my opinion. The rooms are gorgeous and comfortable. I will say, this last stay seemed to be different than years past. You can tell the new ownership is strict. You need to carry your key card at all times, even to access the bathroom at the pool. I understand making sure this is a guests only property, especially considering issues I have encountered in years past, but it's excessive. The drinks at the pool bar all seem to be watered down and extremely small.. for $17-$20 a piece it's unacceptable. Staff are friendly but the front desk never seem to have an idea of what is going on half of the time. Some requests need to be asked multiple times which can be extremely frustrating for the money you pay. However, the one thing I have noticed with the new ownership is all of the fun offerings which we really enjoyed, specifically the sail boat ride and the Crab social. All in all, Pendry management has some kinks to work out, but this hotel will always hold a special place in my heart. read more

Classy hotel by Fells Point. Be ready to put a dent in your wallet if you decide to stay here. We stayed the night on New Year's Eve and it was phenomenal. Our room was a harbor view King bed and we had direct view of the waters. We were able to see the fireworks up close from our room! What we really liked was the setup of the room. The couch is at the foot of the bed facing the tv, making a great setup if you want to watch something or play your game console if you choose to. Most hotels should have this kind of setup in my opinion. The bed was super comfy as well. The toiletries smelled amazing and the bathrobe made you feel like royalty. Service was top notch, every staff member we interacted with, from front desk to room service delivery, was super professional and treated you like a valued guest. Note that there is no personal fridge and only a minibar fridge with overpriced weight-sensored drinks and snacks (do not touch them unless you're sure you want to eat/drink them, you will be charged). I would absolutely stay here again, though I wish they didn't go the way of most high end hotels and deny guests a simple personal fridge. It feels like they're nickel and diming you, but I guess if you can afford this place you wouldn't mind overpaying for drinks/ snacks. read more

This particular Pendry is located on the Baltimore harbor near fells point. The entry is classy and gives off upscale vibes. Check in was easy and quick. We were placed in a harbor king with views which had an absolutely stunning view at sunset. The king bed was comfy, modern and the room was clean. The only ding is the late night room service had no hot food. It was a bit odd as this hotel gives off five star vibes but room service was giving 3 star. Otherwise, location was prime to night life and eateries. We did stay at this hotel as we were attending an NFL game. It is not the closes hotel to the M& T bank stadium about a 10 minute drive but close enough. read more

I attended the pre-fixe experience at Pendry and, unfortunately, had a very disappointing interaction with the staff member checking guests in. I arrived approximately 30 minutes after the scheduled start time and was told to wait in the lounge. Because it had just started raining, I asked whether the event was being moved indoors. Rather than simply answering my question, the staff member responded rudely, telling me there was nothing available in the lounge and that my options were to continue waiting or go to the bar where I could "actually buy something." At no point did he mention that the event had already been delayed by 30 minutes, that the team was considering canceling it due to the weather, or that the buffet would ultimately be moved indoors. Instead of providing helpful information, he raised his voice, dismissed my question, and suggested I spend more money after I had already paid nearly $400 for my tickets. His behavior was so unprofessional that another family approached me afterward to express how shocked they were by the way he spoke to me. A different family kindly informed me that the buffet would, in fact, be moved inside, which was information they had received without being insulted or belittled. I completely understand that Pendry cannot control the weather, and I genuinely appreciate how quickly the staff adapted once a decision was made. What I cannot understand is why a staff member felt comfortable berating and humiliating a guest in front of a room full of people simply for asking a reasonable question. read more

We were in Baltimore for the night to see the Jonas Brothersand decided to treat ourselves with a stay at the Pendry. The Vibes: Everything about this location is so charming, especially around the holiday season. The cobblestone streets, the musician playing live sax in the lobby, and the beautifully lit courtyard complete with fire pits, Christmas trees, and a champagne vending machine. Service: Every single person we interacted with from valet to front desk to maid service was absolutely stellar. Loved the turn down service and beautiful note card and desserts that waited for us after our show. Amenities: I loved the beautiful view of the harbor from our bedroom. The bed was super comfortable and the black out curtains were magic -- I don't think I have slept that well in years! Trying fancy hotel toiletries is my secret pleasure, and loved their body wash and shampoo scent. Dining: Our in room dining experience was truly a mixed bag in quality -- dinner was great but our breakfast the next day was mediocre (think long wait times, stale bagels, and egg shells / crab shells in our crab cake benedict). This beautiful boutique hotel is amazing.. Located in Fells point overlooking the harbor. The decor is very elegant, yet very inviting. I love that while swimming in the pool you have a wonderful view of the harbor. There is a steakhouse, sports bar area and a quaint sultry speakeasy. There are numerous extras like afternoon tea on the weekends. S'mores by the fire pits and so many other extras. I think the Champagne vending machine was the best. Only stayed here for a night on our drive back from our DC trip, but Sagamore Pendry truly provided a top 5 star hotel service. From the valet to the front desk, everyone greeted us with such care. They offered us lemonade drinks at check in and gifted my toddler with a blue crab plush toy. Hotel was stunning with a gorgeous courtyard and our only regret was the pool was already closed for the season. We were escorted to our Harbor King room and given a detailed explanation of the room functions, including that the minibar amenities were motion sensor triggered! We accepted the offer to clear out everything immediately before our toddler got to racking up our bill. We had a nice view of the water from our room and everything felt so luxurious; the bath products smelled fantastic and while I was disappointed there was no handheld shower head, the shower pressure was excellent. It made showering our toddler a bit tricky but we managed with some maneuvering. What sets a 5 star hotel apart is the attention to details and Sagamore exceeded expectations. They were able to provide a mini fridge to store toddler's non-dairy milk and it was already set up in our room by the time we checked in. We only mentioned our anniversary in a prior email communication and they surprised us with a bottle of chilled Prosecco and a card in our room. They had both adult and the cutest kid slippers for our toddler. Location was great with plenty of food options nearby. It was such a lovely stay, we wished we could have stayed longer. read more

I used to love this place, but it's really gone downhill. Here's why.: This hotel is so concerned with events and making extra money instead of the guests that actually stay here that they made the experience miserable . On a busy June weekend, both days Friday and on Saturday there was no bartender at the pool, but they made sure to clear out half of the pool chairs and disrupt us with staff moving things around making noise for an event that they said was at 8 PM on both nights instead of allowing us to enjoy the pool that we paid for to enjoy. I guess it was more important to set up for an 8 PM event at 1 PM on a busy Saturday then it was to have a bartender or even the chairs by the pool . The door on my room didn't shut properly and less slammed in the drain was totally clogged in the shower for $1500 for two nights. I expect a room that's in better condition. read more

It was so nice waking up to that view and the view at night was amazing. The pool service was not the strongest. We had to wait a long time for someone to come get our orders, but everyone was super nice. The pool was right in front of the harbor, so it was a nice view from the pool. The location is close to everything, so it was a nice place to stay! We took long walks at night and felt pretty safe. I would recommend this place to stay and I can't wait to go back! read more

The Sagamore Pendry is a gem. I've had a few staycations here, and each time was enjoyable. Check-in was smooth. You are given a "password" so-to-speak to use at the bar for a complimentary drink. Speaking of the bar, it is huge. There is also a lounge within the atrium with seating arrangements that promote great conversations. The rooms overlook the atrium where guests and patrons are indulging in food and drinks, so be careful with opening those curtains :-) The rooms are also very spacious. In comparing Pendry Baltimore with the location at the DC Wharf, I love both; however, the rooms are a lot more spacious at the Baltimore location. You are also in for a treat with the pool that overlooks the Baltimore Harbor. I couldn't indulge as I've only stayed in the fall/winter, but the views are beautiful. If you're visiting Baltimore or simply need a home away from home, definitely choose the Pendry. read more

The Sagamore Pendry is one of my favorite hotels in Baltimore. I love it and keep coming back!!!! The rooms are gorgeous and super well decorated. They are modern and classic at the same time with high attention to detail, such as lighting behind the headboard. These things count with me. The beds are super comfortable, the soaps and lotions smell amazing (I keep ordering them online for home), and the pool and breakfast are always a highlight. Room service arrives when they say it will and there's a button on the tray for pick-up so you never have the tray in your room for too long or in the hallway. The only thing holding me back from giving five stars is the gym--it's pretty limited for a hotel of this caliber. A few additions like exercise balls, extra grips, a decline bench, and a Smith Machine would bring the fitness center up to the same five-star standard as the rest of the hotel. Still, I always enjoy my stays here and look forward to coming back. With a stronger gym, the Pendry would be 100% perfection. read more

A snide "we are busy" was the reply when I asked when a room might be available. The pool had no chairs available. Ordered a drink at the poolside bar. After 40 minutes we left. The rooms are beautiful and the location perfect but the service is shameful. Think Ritz Carlton rates for Holiday Inn service. Not our first time here but definitely our last. What an amazing weekend at the Sagamore Hotel! We were there for a wedding, and stayed the weekend. Things did not get off to a great start because we had to make our reservation three times. The third time was the charm when Michael Curry handled our reservation. For some reason, they lost folk's reservation for the wedding party, so we had to rebook. On the day of check-in, they charged more than the promised group rate. Once brought to their attention they corrected it. Going forward the service was excellent. It was a hospitality organization whose focus was to please its customers. From management to valet they exceeded my expectations. If you are planning a wedding, it is the perfect venue with the wow factor. The food at the reception was delicious. We enjoyed, Garden Salad, Roasted Filet of Beef with Barolo jus, Maryland Lump crab cake Duet served with mashed potatoes, Pomme Puree, Heirloom carrots, Haricut Verts and Lemon and Chocolate Cake. All the staff were professional yet friendly and the food and beverages were brought out to each table in a timely manner. Our double bedroom was on the smaller side and was dimly light. However, it was nice and very clean. By the time we returned from breakfast t, our room was cleaned and linens changed. Some of the most memorable staff that made our stay joyous were Nicohla (Manager), Michael Curry (Manager) Dakota (Valet) ("spelled like the State" lol), and Damien (Valet). However, the staff members that I came in contact with provided top-notch customer service. read more

3.5 stars. I stayed at the hotel once during the winter, and while I didn't get the room I paid for, the room was still nice. Very quiet hotel with absolutely amazing views. I have come to enjoy the pool twice via a day pass and again, the views are unmatched. With the pool pass you also get a free drink, the sagamore crush. The staff is good, however on my last visit I wanted to order food before I left and the one guy servicing everyone forgot about me and by the time I got his attention the kitchen was closed. It was only 5:00 and he said the kitchen closed a half hour prior! It would have been nice to know, especially since I told him I would order something later. Otherwise it's a great spot for a daycation. Food and drinks are pricey but decent. However, nothing really stood out. It wasn't overly crowded either of the two times I visited which was nice. read more

The Sagamore in Fells Point is a great place to stay in Baltimore. We stayed in a king room overlooking the harbor. The room is very nice with a balcony overlooking the infinity pool and the harbor. It's roomy with a beautiful bathroom - nice tiling and cool antique brass fixtures. The room also had some classy leather furniture too. The location is awesome, and you can walk to numerous restaurants and bars, including Little Italy (which is pretty little). The best part of the Sagamore is the 5 star staff. Super helpful and friendly from the valets to the concierges. Very professional - Rob especially was so nice and helpful! I've stayed in many hotels and the staff here rates near the top. This was our first time at the Sagamore, and will definitely return. read more

We stayed here last weekend for work. It is very aesthetically pleasing to the eyes. The room was very clean and for the most part comfortable. However, after staying for 3 nights, you notice things. When we checked in, we were asked if we would like to upgrade our room for $70/night. We did, it was nice to have the view. What wasn't nice is that it was right outside the bar, so Saturday evening we heard bar noise loud and clear well past 12:30am. This was definitely not worth the "upgrade". We were told that they had a parking lot, so when we pulled up, it was valet which was fine except for the fact that we have a double cab dully, that they struggled parking. We called before booking and were told parking was not going to be an issue. The valet staff was another issue. Some of them were very nice others looked right past us. Yet another spit right in front of me which was absolutely disgusting. Looking at the finishes throughout, it gave a nice vibe. However, when you really looked, the trim was starting to come down above the television. The bathroom pocket door was broken, there was a large chip in the trim. The couch in front of the bed sounded like it was about to break each time we sat in it. The noise was awful. These are all things that should be attended to, especially for the price of this hotel. Finally, upon check out, the person at the desk asked me how I enjoyed my stay, I said it was okay. He didn't ask what could have been better. There was a woman checking out next to me and said it was fabulous and her checkout person said he was so glad to hear that. Mine didn't want to hear that anything could have been corrected. There was a lack of consistency with the service, some staff were right on point, others were lacking. All in all, the location was good, but I feel it was overpriced for the service that we received. read more

Nothing but great things to say about my stay at Sagamore Pendry Baltimore. I did a one night staycation and will definitely be back soon. The food, service, and amenities were top notch as expected and I will say I liked this stay better than Four Seasons, which says a lot. Every ask, wish, and like was accommodated by the staff and we barely had to lift a finger during the stay. It rained when we left and valet ensured to pull as close as possible to avoid the rain and traffic that was piling up due to an event. I will definitely be back soon! read more

We travel extensively, and the Sagamore Pendry Baltimore was a pleasant surprise. Originally booked for one night, we extended to two given the quality of our stay. From valet to check-in, the staff was fantastic, and Michael, the manager on duty, was incredibly helpful. The hotel has a boutique feel with excellent amenities, a well-equipped workout room, restaurant/bar/whiskey room as options, along with thoughtful touches throughout. The crisp sheets, blackout blinds that truly block all light, and a bed where you don't feel your partner move made for an exceptional stay. Strong water pressure, a well-designed closet toilet, and subtle in-room features added to the comfort. As EV drivers, we appreciated that the hotel has a garage offering charging stations. However, valet parking doesn't currently cover charging fees--unusual in our experience, not a dealbreaker, but something that should be addressed either as credit or included. Service was top-notch, with a quick resolution when a neighboring dog was barking and a personal follow-up from the manager. The location is ideal, with waterfront views, cobblestone streets, and fantastic shops and restaurants. We debated between the Four Seasons and the Pendry--Pendry won. Had a good experience here while showing my friends. Its iconic and always fun to get a drink. The staff was friendly from start to finish. They opened the door and showed me the seating area. There we were able to try out some coffee. Unfortunately the wait was a little long since we had to wait 20 minutes for a cup of coffee. Once we had our drinks, we made our way to the back where the the pool and views are. They have a wonderful walkway full of greenery and sculptures. I think there was a wedding reception that occurred the night before. The views were amazing and you can be right up to the water. I am looking forward to staying there one of these days. read more

This review is based on the bar and lobby area only. I arrived on a Wednesday evening about 4:45 pm to find the bar area fairly quiet. A coworker and I grab a very comfortable seat on the other side of the bar and had a server attend to us. I ended up getting two cocktails. The Filini Reference and the Alpina. I preferred the first, but both were well crafted, flavor balanced cocktails that weren't filled with sugar and juice. The service was good and not intrusive which is exactly what we needed for a chat and drinks together. This lobby, bar and bathroom area is stunning. I can't wait to bring my husband here for a date night. read more
