We first received a quote from American Design and Build because they did our neighbor's house, but they quoted us $7,000+ for the same high quality work that Obrebski did for half the price! Chris came and did the quote for us. He was extremely knowledgeable and was able to help us understand why the slider in our basement was leaking when it rained. There was zero pressure from Chris and he simply left us a quote to call and schedule if we were interested. Needless to say, we called and scheduled the next day! Michaela working in the office was super friendly and helpful with scheduling our install. From the day we signed the contract to the day the install occurred was just a few weeks. The day of install went smoothly and Chris was there as well. Their installers are all "in-house" contractors. They went above and beyond to clean up afterwards and the final product looked great! We had a great experience with Obrebski Brothers and we highly recommend them to anyone who is seeking high quality product and work from a friendly family-owned business!

We had a little hitch with installation due to errors by the technician but Ammar corrected them immediately and made sure to follow up to make sure everything was as it should be and we were happy. The owner Walid spent extra time to work on the old windows patiently. He showed up over 45 minutes later than the time he should have been there, and did not return any of my calls in between that time. By the time he got here I demanded an apology but he laughed and blamed the traffic. I told him how unprofessional he was and that I was going to file a complaint because of his lack of communication. He instantly got defensive and changed to an aggressive tone. He proceeded to verbally attack me and said, "Oh you want to file a complaint? Then I'll leave you right now." I had no choice but to apologize for his wrong doings because I was in a hurry and needed to meet with a client.

He was able to come out within the hour and assess what needed to be done. His price seemed reasonable and fair. Since that time, Steve has tackled most of the items on the inspection list and others that have came up after. He is always extremely responsive, reasonable and level headed. What I like most is that he thinks things through to make sure the job is done correct. Here are just a few of the projects that he has tackled at our house: --fixed three toilets that were running slow and not flushing properly --replaced rusting pipe under the sink in the powder room --leveled and secured the dishwasher (the bottom rack would fly out of the dishwasher and the entire dishwasher would move when you opened and closed the door) --fixed a place in front of the house where a brick was missing --did some drywall work above our stairs --replaced/fixed several light switches and outlets around the house --secured the pillars outside of the house (they would move if you leaned on them) --replaced a broken switch on a lamp --secured a lamp that was wobbly --helped build and hung barn doors --fixed the low water pressure in kitchen sink faucet --fixed all the stoppers in our sinks --fixed an outlet so it is linked to the light switch --fixed our treadmill (the upper control panel went out so we ordered another one and he installed it. The treadmill works like new) Seriously anytime I have an issue I ask him if he can fix it. If he can, he is quick to respond and if he can not (which is not often) he is honest and suggests a different source. I highly recommend House Spouse Home Repair

He's insured, easy to work with, has an insane knowledge or wheelhouse of specific jobs he can do, does not cut corners (even if you ask I heard) but will find ways to save you every time and still puts way more time into jobs than he charges! He's a small business only hiring out for larger jobs and keeps to himself but is really friendly. He's has flexible hours if you need him nights weekends or last minute - even holidays! He's does not have children so is able to work with clients and their schedules. He does start later and finish later but most prefer it to avoid early morning noise but if you request certain hours he obliges. He's really good with remodels, siding, doors, windows, odd custom jobs, carpentry, technology, labor like post hole mail boxes and fences but also fine detail tile, electrical and plumbing! He can do lighting, drywall, flooring, etc! He has a large assortment of tools and lots of experience and clients but is a problem solver for situations others messed up or took liberties with. A great value but underpaid with this inflation so suspect his costs will go up. Hire him now before he starts to charge what he's worth!!! Btw very trustworthy- had entry to almost everyone I spoke to and never snooped or broke anything. Can be left to freely work without having to watch him like young contractors who tend to skip crucial steps from what I've heard causing the same issues a few years later. Mark takes his time but it's worth it every time! Also great around kids, pets and special needs clients. No complaints of taking advantage of anyone too. That's a rarity! Also responds best to texts or calls. Does not have assistant so I do have to call him 1-2x because he misses the vm's when working. But great with all tasks large and small. Has huge portfolio of work and pictures. Check out his Nextdoor- I suggest him anytime I can because he seems too shy to hound clients for reviews so I suggest you give him one if you're using him too!
