Fun for kids and for the experience. Loved the presentation and moderate syrup to ice ratio. Not for the indecisive seeing there's many flavors for you to choose from.

Very large menu and prices are decent and there wasn't any tax. I ordered half tiger's blood and half lime. The lime had no lime flavor whatsoever. There was way too much syrup for my liking too. But overall was a good experience and staff was friendly.

    Strawberry & lemonade ice.

The ice is super smooth, not overly "chunky" like a lot of other water ice.

Service was quick and we got seated fast. I ordered the mango dessert with ice cream, sago, and pomelo, and my friend got the tiramisu. The mango dessert was amazing. Super fresh, sweet mango chunks with that natural tropical flavor, paired with creamy ice cream that melted into everything. The sago added a soft, chewy texture and the pomelo gave little bursts of citrusy bitterness that balanced the sweetness really well. It felt light but still indulgent. The tiramisu was also really good. Soft, creamy layers with a nice coffee flavor that was not too bitter, and just the right amount of sweetness. Very smooth and easy to keep eating. We stayed for a while just chatting and were not rushed out at all, which I really appreciated. Not every café lets you sit and relax like that. It is located down a slightly shady alley, but honestly it is fine, especially when it is still light out and since it is in Chinatown. Just feels a little hidden at first. Overall a really solid dessert spot. Not just mango focused, but if you love mango like I do, this place hits.

We're always getting some combination of a couple of classic desserts, a crepe, or pancake. As you'd expect, the desserts with mango are tasty and we're also partial to the ones with durian! Sweet but not too sweet, refreshing, and enough variety to keep things interesting. Toppings also had a great texture. Personal favorites are Snow White juice with durian and black rice, special mango juice sago with pomelo w/ mango ice cream, and mango and black rice. I thought the pancakes were just okay - the crepes for them had an interesting texture to me. Also, the crepes were solid, just not what I'd be coming here for. Black sesame paste soup with rice balls was also mid - the rice balls had a great chewy texture, but the black sesame felt a little lacking.

We stopped in after dinner and I tried a double with two flavors - strawberry and peanut butter swirl. The ice cream is from Basset's and it's delicious! I found the ambiance of the shop and the outdoor patio to be extremely cute and homey, it's very inviting for sitting down and enjoying a cool treat! I look forward to visiting again and having some more great ice cream!

I love supporting local, so much so that we went here again a week ago to see if anything changed. Sad to report, nothing has changed. The high prices are okay. I get it, everything is expensive nowadays. But the sheer amount of time it takes from the time you walk in the door until you get your order is astonishing. On our last trip, we ordered three items. Arrived at 8:25 and got served after 9:00; after they officially closed for the night. When served our three items, two were wrong and had to be redone. Hopefully things change because there is true potential here. Maybe we'll try again in 2024.
