So good and not greasy at all! Tried the crab ragoons, cashew chicken, and egg drop soup. All were very good, and good sized portions.

Great Chinese at great prices. Always fresh and the staff is friendly. The fried rice is great as well as the pu pu platter.

The only REAL Asian food establishment in Windsor, CT…read more I have been to the others in town and none compare to the menu at Char Koon Noodle Express. It's primarily a take-out/delivery joint. You can eat in. The ambiance is not romantic or cozy. What it lacks in ambiance it truly makes up for it in the taste, quality and portion sizes. The menu has something for most. The House Noodles (no shrimp please) are my go-to! They were my late husband's fave (with shrimp) and you do get a very nice portion. As with everything I have ever ordered, and I've lived in Windsor 23 years, things are cooked to your request, they are thorough, and best of all I have never had to wait forever to pick up my order. They have expanded their menu! They participate with popular delivery services. I choose to pick up as I have the time to and do not like others handling my order. I have never had an incorrect order. The staff is always polite. This is a small gem of a find. Try them once and I'll bet you too will keep coming back to try other menu items. Enjoy!!!!

Good food, reasonable prices for the area, dark…read more Came here cause the missus was craving dumpling and we've only dabbled in the restaurants in WeHa. Outside was unassuming. Sidewalks were torn up but the place is hard to find with lack of signage. We were able to get seated right away, and looked through their digital menu. We got a smattering of dishes, wontons and dumplings, a sandwich and a ramen. Food came out in a reasonable wait time. We took pics and dug in. The 7 flavor dumpling was the star of the show. Light and thin dumpling wrapper, savory sweet sauce, plenty of filling. The pork dumplings were good, but the wrapper was thicker and denser. The twice cooked pork sandwich was pretty tasty, the pork needed to be more present compared to the veggies, but appreciated the crisp of the bread. The ramen had a good amount of braised beef and noodles. The broth needed a little doctoring to coax out some of the more savory notes. Broth needed more aggressive seasoning though. The price was not too bad for the area. It's kind of like dim sum, where you get a small plate for the price but it's all shareable and the flavors are good. It's not very well lit, gave the place a very dark air about it. But as a restaurant, it's pretty good. There's a lot of great places in that area, and this one's a good option if you're looking for small plates.

Appetizers: Spring Rolls, Vegetable Dumplings, and Crab Rangoon. All three were tasty. The Crab Rangoon was some of the best we have had in Windsor. Dinner: Mango Curry with Duck Breast was a wonderful combination with just the right amount of spice. Crispy Chicken with Green in Love sauce with broccoli and bok choi. The kitchen accommodated my request to add eggplant and mushrooms. Yummy and very generous portions. Thai tea with light ice - so refreshing! Dessert: Thai style coconut ice cream over sticky rice and the Mango sticky rice were both delicious desserts. Sweet but not too sweet. It is a small family owned restaurant. Definitely worth your time. Siam Corner is my new favorite Thai restaurant!
