Matcha latte with oat milk
Francheska J.

Solid choice if you're looking for coffee and a Peixoto is nearby! Love a local Valley spot and this one is a local fave for a reason. This was my first time trying their matcha, and I think it was okay- definitely on the milky side, and the matcha tastes a little gritty. I might stick to coffee for future visits, and they always have really cool seasonal flavors! This location is stunning, a great spot to get some work done and get some sunlight through the large windows that reach the 2nd floor loft area. Lots of parking, and the staff is always a pleasure.

I love Peixoto! I usually go to the downtown Chandler location because it is more convenient for me; however, I also love the Agritopia Neighborhood and love coming to this location too. There is plentiful outdoor seating, some in the sun and some in the shade, which is great as a person who melts in the sun as well as two stories of seating inside. It's always bustling here and I love the energy. The staff is always willing to talk to me about the menu, customization options, and offer friendly suggestions.

Had a lovely latte at this Peixoto location. It has more space than the Chandler shop with an upstairs area and plenty of outdoor seating. I tried the seasonal pumpkin butter latte hot with macadamia nut milk. It was really rich and had a very nice balanced flavor with just the right amount of sweetness. The coffee here in general is some of the best in AZ. The little one had a kid's hot chocolate. This is her direct quote, "It is sooo good!" The cashier was very friendly and sweet. Peixoto is the place to go for delicious beverages and wonderful service.

Vanilla latte, not sweet at all just a hint of vanilla!

We stumbled upon this gem after a rough night sleep in a hotel not too far from this location. With us being first timers, staff was very helpful in explaining the menu and were able to suggest the perfect item for us to enjoy. The coffee was delicious. We also tried some of their pastries that are rotated daily from local bakeries (which is such a great idea) they were delicious! We went back several mornings during our trip enjoyed multiple pastries and coffee. I recommend this place definitely and we will be back on our next trip to AZ.

If you want a great spot to meet with a friend or work, this Peixoto location is perfect! What stood out was the ambiance - it was very welcoming of anyone who wanted a quick pit stop or hours of work/study. I got a seasonal drink (Cindy Lou...) and my boyfriend got a cold brew + cream & white chocolate. Both drinks were SUPER sweet (and that's coming from a someone with a sweet tooth!) - so next time I stop in, I'd ask for half sweet. I recommend going during a less busy time of day (late weekend afternoons & weekdays).

Peixoto checks off all the boxes for a cool coffee shop! We're big fans after today's visit. The interior is light and airy. It was a busy Tuesday morning with lines going around the shop. The cashier was really friendly and knowledgeable about the coffee beans and shop history. I got an iced peppermint latte with macadamia milk. It was decadent! I was blown away and kept saying "wow!" Even though I requested 1/4 sweet, it was smooth, well-rounded and didn't need anything else. I'm not from around here but will be back whenever I get a chance.

Peixoto is my favorite coffee shop in the southeast valley. They have two locations - Chandler (the original) and Gilbert (in the Epicenter). They offer coffees, teas, lemonades, pastries from local businesses, and more. I like to try their seasonal drinks. It's summertime, so they have their popular coconut flavoring, available with or without dairy. You can even purchase a growler of the Coconut Cold Brew! My favorite version is an iced Coconut Matcha Latte with macadamia nut milk, half sweet. Another current special that's really good and worth trying is the S'mores Affogato, available all summer long. The staff is always very friendly and patient. There is plenty of seating inside on both floors. Outdoor seating is available as well. Parking can get pretty crazy throughout the Epicenter, but if you're just stopping in to grab and go, there are a few 15-minute parking spots right in front.

I'd give 5/5 for the coffee - I had a macadamia nut latte with honey, delicious! Just a note, almond milk is not an alternative milk here. They only have macadamia nut and oat milk. I'd give 3/5 for the service. The staff were not friendly at all. I waited by the counter to have my order taken while there were 5 girls in various stages of drink prep but not a single one acknowledged me so there was this super awkward quietness. Finally someone came out of the kitchen area and my order was taken but no one said "good morning, how can I help you.." it was just weird! When my drink was ready they just slammed it down and said my name and walked away. Such a weird experience! The shop was beautiful. It was a busy place on a Thursday morning, and I thought the loft was really cool. This looks like a great space to work or meet up with a friend. I'll come back, but I'm hoping for a better personal experience.

I came here with my mom one day to try something different. The building itself is really cute. The inside is a bit small but there is nice outside seating too. The barista we had was very nice. She answered our questions and was patient. Me and my mom each got a coffee and a macaron. But we learned that their pastries change out and are worth trying! Maybe next time The coffee was very good. It was smooth and didn't taste too strong. The macarons were okay, I got a fruity pebble one. The middle had a different texture than I'm used to, almost butter like. And left a weird feeling in my mouth. Overall, I would definitely return though! I would want to try a pastry on my next visit

Supercool spot for coffee. Although quite away from me, it still is a cool place for a coffee after brunch.

Espresso and cortado
Brad N.

Visited this location with a few other coffee fanatics from an online coffee forum, and a great time was had by all. Baristas were doing manual pourovers with flat bottom brewers and gooseneck kettles, and pulling espresso shots at the top of their game. Bustling with people and activity, this place was full of energy and had seating areas both upstairs and down, with lots of options. A beautiful space! I had sampled the eponymous Gesha No. 5 three ways: espresso, cortado, and a bag of beans to take home. The espresso was intense and leaning tropical as promised by the tasting notes. Cortado was wonderful as well, with the fruit flavors punching through the milk well. A sample of the Gesha as a pourover revealed that it's great in that preparation as well, and confirmed again once I got it home. Overall, a lovely place to get a coffee and hang out, but to be sure, this is miles above the norm; it's for coffee lovers, by coffee lovers, Definitely check it out.

Hailey R.

I really want to love Peixoto but sadly most of the time that I go, I'm a bit disappointed. Still, I go to try the seasonal flavors that are creative and made with house-made syrups. However, a 16 oz is $8 before tax and tip which is pretty steep, and it never has enough coffee flavor for me. I don't prefer how they can only do espresso shots in increments of 2 --their 16 oz iced lattes are too milky with not enough coffee taste but adding an extra 2 shots is too much, not to mention the additional cost.

Great place to go and chill for a couple hours. They have an upstairs lounge area for relaxing main floor has tables were you could work on your computer and other things if needed great outside seating area and the coffee is amazing. Staff is great also! Coffee 5/5 Atmosphere 5/5 Service 5/5 Staff 5/5 Location 5/5 Parking 5/5 Return Factor 5/5

Best coffee in the Valley! I always grab a seasonal latte or matcha when I'm in the area. Excellent coffee and very kind people.

Even though there wasn't a lot of people, the service was surprisingly slow. The staff were extremely friendly though. I ordered a Robin with Oatmilk and a fruit danish. The fruit danish was delicious and flaky, but it was way overpriced which I didn't find out until the barista was entering it into the cash register. Transparency for the cost of food items was lacking, there was no prices listed for the bakery items. The Robin with oatmilk was okay, the coffee taste itself was pretty good, but I couldn't taste any of the infused lavendar flavor at all in the drink. It tasted like it was a plain latte, not what they advertised. I don't recommend ordering this drink. Overall I personally wasn't impressed with Sagebrush, and I probably won't be coming back.

This time I had the Ethiopian, Mira Coffee, from Morkata Gata. I honestly could taste the mango and coconut as if I was drinking mango and coconut. Just simply incredible My husband tried the seasonal latte Pecan Black Sesame which had the perfect balance of sweet, nutty, and roasted goodness. My daughter tried the strawberry fields hot tea. Fruity, soothing, and delicious. This place has a wide variety of coffees and teas to choose from and delicious pastries. A must visit for anyone who lives in the valley

We got morning bun and banana bread and they were so good, not too sweet, the morning bun was so flaky and good amount of cinnamon, my husband didn't like banana at all but he turned out really liked the banana bread. I tried their pistachio cold foam latte with half sweet, and it was so good, the cold foam was light and airy, the syrup didn't overpower the taste of coffee. I usually don't drink sweet coffee, just like original hot latte, but I love pistachio so had to tried this, and it was really good. My husband got the hot latte and it was even better. Perfect Perfect Perfect…read more The vibe of the place is amazing, very spacious, and lots of seating. The specialty menu is so unique and very easy to understand. They have for here cups which is something I've noticed not a lot of coffee shops around the area carry anymore so that was awesome. The Moroccan latte was a HIT. Everyone was obsessed with this one, we also added pistachio cold foam on top. For the Moroccan we asked for it to be half sweet and it was still pretty sweet so be aware that this one is for the sweet tooth. The pistachio latte was delicious as well. The lemon poppy seed matcha was really good as a matcha, meaning the matcha was delcious and easy to ddrink. Not a lot of lemon flavor in it tho but the quality was good so no complaints. Their pastry selection is lacking however, this might be because we came a little later in the day but there was not a lot of options. The lemon scone was delicous but the raspberry key lime cupcake was far too sweet. However, this was an awesome shop and I would highly recommend it.

I normally don't write reviews, but this experience was frustrating enough that I felt compelled to…read moresay something. I stopped in around 6:00 pm to get some work done before a cycling class. The first thing the cashier told me was that the espresso machines were already shut down and that only hot tea was available. I asked what time the shop closed, and he said 7:00 pm. Since I still had time, I decided to stay and purchased tea. After sitting down, I was told--due to construction--that they would be "locking up soon." I assumed this still meant 7:00 pm. I received my tea around 6:10 pm, and by 6:20 pm I was told they would be locking the doors and turning off the lights. At that point, it felt passive-aggressive and misleading. If I had been told upfront that the shop was closing early, I would not have ordered anything. I specifically asked what time you were closing, and that information was not communicated clearly until after I had already paid. Additionally, if the shop is supposedly open until 7:00 pm, it's confusing why the espresso machines were already turned off at 6:00 pm. As for the tea -- 2/10. I didn't even finish it. I'm sure the coffee may be good, but this is the first time I've been to a coffee shop where the espresso machine was shut down an hour before closing. Lastly, as a study space, it's very limited: only two tables with about eight chairs total. There are outlets, but not nearly enough to support people working. Overall, the lack of clear communication and the rushed, uncomfortable atmosphere made this a disappointing experience.
