Solid choice if you're looking for coffee and a Peixoto is nearby! Love a local Valley spot and this one is a local fave for a reason. This was my first time trying their matcha, and I think it was okay- definitely on the milky side, and the matcha tastes a little gritty. I might stick to coffee for future visits, and they always have really cool seasonal flavors! This location is stunning, a great spot to get some work done and get some sunlight through the large windows that reach the 2nd floor loft area. Lots of parking, and the staff is always a pleasure.
I love Peixoto! I usually go to the downtown Chandler location because it is more convenient for me; however, I also love the Agritopia Neighborhood and love coming to this location too. There is plentiful outdoor seating, some in the sun and some in the shade, which is great as a person who melts in the sun as well as two stories of seating inside. It's always bustling here and I love the energy. The staff is always willing to talk to me about the menu, customization options, and offer friendly suggestions.
Had a lovely latte at this Peixoto location. It has more space than the Chandler shop with an upstairs area and plenty of outdoor seating. I tried the seasonal pumpkin butter latte hot with macadamia nut milk. It was really rich and had a very nice balanced flavor with just the right amount of sweetness. The coffee here in general is some of the best in AZ. The little one had a kid's hot chocolate. This is her direct quote, "It is sooo good!" The cashier was very friendly and sweet. Peixoto is the place to go for delicious beverages and wonderful service.
We stumbled upon this gem after a rough night sleep in a hotel not too far from this location. With us being first timers, staff was very helpful in explaining the menu and were able to suggest the perfect item for us to enjoy. The coffee was delicious. We also tried some of their pastries that are rotated daily from local bakeries (which is such a great idea) they were delicious! We went back several mornings during our trip enjoyed multiple pastries and coffee. I recommend this place definitely and we will be back on our next trip to AZ.
If you want a great spot to meet with a friend or work, this Peixoto location is perfect! What stood out was the ambiance - it was very welcoming of anyone who wanted a quick pit stop or hours of work/study. I got a seasonal drink (Cindy Lou...) and my boyfriend got a cold brew + cream & white chocolate. Both drinks were SUPER sweet (and that's coming from a someone with a sweet tooth!) - so next time I stop in, I'd ask for half sweet. I recommend going during a less busy time of day (late weekend afternoons & weekdays).
Peixoto checks off all the boxes for a cool coffee shop! We're big fans after today's visit. The interior is light and airy. It was a busy Tuesday morning with lines going around the shop. The cashier was really friendly and knowledgeable about the coffee beans and shop history. I got an iced peppermint latte with macadamia milk. It was decadent! I was blown away and kept saying "wow!" Even though I requested 1/4 sweet, it was smooth, well-rounded and didn't need anything else. I'm not from around here but will be back whenever I get a chance.
Peixoto is my favorite coffee shop in the southeast valley. They have two locations - Chandler (the original) and Gilbert (in the Epicenter). They offer coffees, teas, lemonades, pastries from local businesses, and more. I like to try their seasonal drinks. It's summertime, so they have their popular coconut flavoring, available with or without dairy. You can even purchase a growler of the Coconut Cold Brew! My favorite version is an iced Coconut Matcha Latte with macadamia nut milk, half sweet. Another current special that's really good and worth trying is the S'mores Affogato, available all summer long. The staff is always very friendly and patient. There is plenty of seating inside on both floors. Outdoor seating is available as well. Parking can get pretty crazy throughout the Epicenter, but if you're just stopping in to grab and go, there are a few 15-minute parking spots right in front.
I'd give 5/5 for the coffee - I had a macadamia nut latte with honey, delicious! Just a note, almond milk is not an alternative milk here. They only have macadamia nut and oat milk. I'd give 3/5 for the service. The staff were not friendly at all. I waited by the counter to have my order taken while there were 5 girls in various stages of drink prep but not a single one acknowledged me so there was this super awkward quietness. Finally someone came out of the kitchen area and my order was taken but no one said "good morning, how can I help you.." it was just weird! When my drink was ready they just slammed it down and said my name and walked away. Such a weird experience! The shop was beautiful. It was a busy place on a Thursday morning, and I thought the loft was really cool. This looks like a great space to work or meet up with a friend. I'll come back, but I'm hoping for a better personal experience.
I came here with my mom one day to try something different. The building itself is really cute. The inside is a bit small but there is nice outside seating too. The barista we had was very nice. She answered our questions and was patient. Me and my mom each got a coffee and a macaron. But we learned that their pastries change out and are worth trying! Maybe next time The coffee was very good. It was smooth and didn't taste too strong. The macarons were okay, I got a fruity pebble one. The middle had a different texture than I'm used to, almost butter like. And left a weird feeling in my mouth. Overall, I would definitely return though! I would want to try a pastry on my next visit
Visited this location with a few other coffee fanatics from an online coffee forum, and a great time was had by all. Baristas were doing manual pourovers with flat bottom brewers and gooseneck kettles, and pulling espresso shots at the top of their game. Bustling with people and activity, this place was full of energy and had seating areas both upstairs and down, with lots of options. A beautiful space! I had sampled the eponymous Gesha No. 5 three ways: espresso, cortado, and a bag of beans to take home. The espresso was intense and leaning tropical as promised by the tasting notes. Cortado was wonderful as well, with the fruit flavors punching through the milk well. A sample of the Gesha as a pourover revealed that it's great in that preparation as well, and confirmed again once I got it home. Overall, a lovely place to get a coffee and hang out, but to be sure, this is miles above the norm; it's for coffee lovers, by coffee lovers, Definitely check it out.
I really want to love Peixoto but sadly most of the time that I go, I'm a bit disappointed. Still, I go to try the seasonal flavors that are creative and made with house-made syrups. However, a 16 oz is $8 before tax and tip which is pretty steep, and it never has enough coffee flavor for me. I don't prefer how they can only do espresso shots in increments of 2 --their 16 oz iced lattes are too milky with not enough coffee taste but adding an extra 2 shots is too much, not to mention the additional cost.
Great place to go and chill for a couple hours. They have an upstairs lounge area for relaxing main floor has tables were you could work on your computer and other things if needed great outside seating area and the coffee is amazing. What a beautiful location! This is Peixoto's second coffee shop. Back in early 2015, I attended Peixoto's grand opening of their first location in downtown Chandler. I was met with very friendly service and a high quality cup of coffee. Peixoto Coffee has been my home ever since. Julia and Jeff own and operate Peixoto Coffee and are some of the friendliest people you will ever meet. Their slogan is "Crop to Cup" because the beans used here are from Julia's family farm in Brazil. This new Peixoto (pronounced "Pay Sho Tow") location is at Epicenter at Agritopia - Gilbert's newest apartment development that is surrounded by restaurants and retailers. It is more spacious than the original location and has two levels of seating. Like their original location, they have a giant map showing where the beans are harvested and photos of the Peixoto family farm in Brazil. The menu is still the same and includes their seasonal drinks. Peixoto Coffee has some of the smoothest tasting coffee I have ever had and they have the best baristas. If you can't make it to a location, many of their products are found in local stores around the Valley or you can purchase them online. read more

Stopped into the new Peixoto Coffee. I love the chandler location so I was excited to see one come to gilbert. Location is much larger than chandler and I think their upstairs will be a great place for people to work or study. Lots of seating indoors. Unsure of what the patio situation will be like due to current construction going on. read more

It's grand opening day! They did a great job moving people through quickly despite being busy. Friendly staff, lots of seating, plenty of parking, and a bright space in a new area down the street deom Agritopia. I had the pumpkin latte with marshmallow fluff - so delicious! read more

Good location , plenty of parking and nearby shops and food options to grab a bite . I prefer this location over the Chandler location . It has a much more open and airy concept . The natural lighting is goals and perfect for a work day at the coffee shop . The upstairs area is really cute and the baristas were very pleasant to interact with on a Saturday . read more
I'm so happy that Peixoto opened this second location that is near me! They make some of the best third-wave coffee in Phoenix, and I just love trying their seasonal drinks. The vibe here is so hip, lofty, and industrial. There's lots of space to chill and chat. Instantly felt relaxed here. My husband got a cappuccino, which was so smooth that he decided to purchase a bag of their espresso beans, even though they're a bit more expensive than what we normally buy. I tried their blackberry pavlova latte, which was really interesting, with subtle hints of mint, but unfortunately not my taste. The lovely cashier/barista offered to make me a regular hot latte with macadamia milk. I insisted on paying, but he didn't let me. The result was outstanding. High-quality, excellent, and beautifully prepared. I will be visiting frequently to try all their seasonals! read more

I think Peixoto is a great place to try experimental flavors with coffee. They always have seasonal items and some of them were really good, for example the lavender latte. We went to the Gilbert location the most, and we loved ordering from their outside window. The inside is not dog-friendly, so if you bring your puppies with you, you could go around to their side door and press the button to call for the baristas. The inside decor is very modern and there are some chairs outside as well. They also have bakeries made by local stores, but the amount of food were not huge. So if you are craving for a coffee and pastry, you need to get there early enough. read more

I got the Blackberry Mint Pavlova Latte half sweet from the summer menu. I don't like very sweet coffee so I liked it a lot, it had a slight tartness that wasn't too overwhelming. It had a very smooth taste. I just wish there was more mint flavor because I couldn't really taste it. Overall, very pretty drink! The cafe was clean, plenty of tables to do work. I liked the art on the wall upstairs and there were also enough outlets for charging electronics. read more

Great coffee, really great and knowledgeable staff and a buzzing atmosphere. Stopped by Peixoto after countless people recommended it online and I wasn't disappointed. They take coffee seriously and put thought into every cup they make. Must visit! I had a cortado. The espresso was distinctly Brazilian, leaning heavily towards the acidic/fruity side. I enjoyed the balance that the whole milk provided as espressos like these can turn really sour, really quickly. read more

If you like matcha, try the toasted coconut matcha! Delicious-I enjoyed the matcha, opted for oat milk which was super creamy, just the right amount of sweetness, and the coconut bits on top was the final finish definitely recommend this drink! Service was fast! I ordered and my drink was ready within 2-3 minutes! Down stairs tables were filled and have never gone up stairs yet but I'm sure there was more room up there. read more

If I could give this place 6 stars, I would! The latte I ordered was one of the top ten coffee drinks I've ever had in my life. I'm not sure it's a regular menu item or a seasonal drink, but I got the toasted coconut latte and it was truly magical to drink. Delicious, creamy, perfect temperature. You won't find coffee like this anywhere else in the area. The cherry on top is the cozy, and collaborative ambiance. This is such a perfect place to have a coffee meeting, or sit and hang for a while to get some work done. I can't wait to go back read more

Great staff, gorgeous ambiance, love the vibe the people, and even the music from lo-fi to Hip-Hop, to R&B, and classic country, their playlist does not miss a beat. The coffee is way better than Starbucks... but what is up with the Starbucks-looking aprons? I thought this was going to be another basic place, but don't be fooled... As you step in the place the aura is very relaxed, and the vibe is more of an urban feel. This almost gives me steam punk vibes, I like it. There are also lots of places to sit and I saw many people on their laptops or just chilling wherever they found a comfy spot. I love the comfort I get from this place. What had drawn me to this place was the menu, I saw many different and unique flavor combinations that sounded fun to try. I chose the lavender latte, and the matcha. The taste..... was so silky and smooth and every flavor was perfect shining through! I can really tell a quality place when they are able to successfully stand out from any other coffee location and this is going to be my new go to place in this area! Also, the staff were so cool and friendly, we felt so comfortable and welcomed! I always feel stressed when going to try a new place and this was just overall a great experience. Great spot to check out! I tend to go for their seasonal drinks, and I gotta say, they're delicious. Highly recommend y'all give 'em a try. During my last visit, I ordered a hot toasted coconut latte and it did not disappoint, 10/10. You can't go wrong with their iced raspberry pistachio either. The employees are awesome, and it's a cool place to chat/ hang out, or get some work done if you don't mind the busyness. read more

Love that this location is finally open! They did such a great job with the space - it is beyond beautiful. They have outside seatings and inside seatings featuring upstairs and downstairs areas! Great spot to work or study with ridiculously good drinks. Don't forget to grab a growler of cold brew for home for those mornings you can't make it to the coffee shop. Great item to pick up when you have guests staying over as well. Everyone will wake up happy, I guarantee it! They also offer coconut cold brew in the summer time which taste like absolute heaven! read more

Very cool new spot! It's in the same plaza as a new apartment complex that is building so just know that it is there. I heard about this place because of its popularity at another location and was surprised that a new one opened up next to me. There are a lot of options that you can choose from which is cool. Staff is extremely nice and welcoming the moment you step in. I really like mocha or white mocha flavored drinks so the barista recommended their white and black which is a mix of mocha and white mocha and it was super good! I came here to study as well and there are a lot of seats on the first floor and on the second floor there are plugs where you can charge your electronics which booths where you can study! It's also not too loud since others are studying so it's a nice spot to hang out with friends or just another cool study spot! read more

I have been to this location twice since they opened and I like how much more space this location has compared to chandler. I also love the interior design of this location. This one is closer to my house too which is a bonus! I mainly come to peixoto to try their seasonal drinks. I'm not a coffee drinker, so I mainly just get their seasonal flavored lattes. So far I have tried the pumpkin chai and peppermint matcha and both were pretty good. I am definitely going to be back to try the rest of their holiday drinks. A few things to note that I've noticed...the prices are a little high imo. Also on my second time coming here, I arrived at 7:45 am and it was already pretty busy, and their pastries do sell out fairly quickly. Also, I had headphones in and was trying to read my book, but inside it does get pretty loud. I drive past the epicenter a lot and peixoto (and the area in general) always looks busy, and it will get even more busy with the new additions coming in next year. read more

This brand new outpost of Peixoto takes the iconic brand to the next level. The story of their farm to cup experience is on display via photos and a giant 2 story map of the Americas. The space is crisp and fresh and has a gorgeous seating balcony in addition to ample ground level seating. We had the classic cappuccino which was perfect (the hardest drink for any coffee shop), brewed coffee and pastries. There are non-coffee drinks and iced drinks, as well. The place is definitely set up for volume with two state-of-the-art espresso machines (one faces a glass wall that can open up into a giant open air bar). Just like the original Chandler store, the staff is friendly and quick. read more

Wow, this coffee shop is BEAUTIFUL. I am in love with the design. The service was absolutely top-notch as well. The barista that helped me gave her honest opinions on the food and drink which led me to get the Pumpkin Croissant and a Persimmon Chai. The Chai was perfectly balanced with a hint of that Persimmon sweetness. Croissant wise, I'd get it again. I might try a different flavor next time though, as it almost was a bit too sweet with the Chai I got. That aside, I was very happy with my experience! Word to the wise - this place gets crowded on a Sunday and parking can be a bit rough. Get there early! I know the parking situation is out of their hands, but that was probably the most inconvient part. All in all, very good. Must visit! read more
