This would be a great place for a fast food joint. Could not be more disappointing. Ordered online and arrived when it said my order would be done and then waited about 15 minutes or so. There were 6 guys cooking but only one hostess and the balance wasn't working. They were all hustling so no complaints there but they were out of so many items and people weren't told until after they arrived. The final blow for Pei Wei though is that the food sucked. First time at this particular branch. Usually I'm in California. People are sitting & eating. Young guy at the counter is pretty disengaged. It took him so long to do the order with this admittedly difficult couple but it was testing my patience because it's a place where you have to go up and order and then they deliver it to you. The manager was playing all kinds of roles in there he delivered food he was prepping he was doing a lot so I have a feeling they need more staff. They definitely could have had more people at the register or at least tell people if they see somebody waiting, to go to the other register and get their order. I probably waited 15 minutes at least just at the counter to order. I got something that was low on fast burning carbs it was delicious it was a shrimp dish with all kinds of vegetables so that was good. Ambiance wise, I'll be honest, that place is exactly the same as all the other Pei Wei's. And it's again kind of pedestrian but it does have a lot of nice features like for example there are to-go boxes that you can get for yourself and also fortune cookies you can take as many as you need. And you can refill your drink so that was nice. I am not really inclined to go back for a while but the food is pretty good read more

I used to get the most amazing Asian Chopped Chicken salad at Pei Wei. lots of veggies, plenty of chicken, great salad dressing. Now I get a bowl of iceberg lettuce and a sliver of red pepper. They put a few shreds of chicken in it and you have to beg them to include the dressing. They really don't want to add that dressing for some reason. I used to get the most amazing crab wontons at Pei Wei. We ordered them every time, they were delicious. Now we get something they call crab won tons, but there isn't any crabmeat in them. Not amazing. The prices have gone up and the quality has gone way down. It's just easier to grab an asian salad at the grocery store that's cheaper and better. read more

Went to the store on Sunday around noon and the store was completely empty! Went to the front counter with my family to place our order and got completely ignored! They were standing around talking to each other and just completely ignored us. After about 5 minutes without so much as a wave, we walked out. Pei Wei is the place to go when I have a craving for delicious Asian food that is also reasonably priced. Love the fried rice and Asian salad, the chicken is cooked to perfection. This used to be my favorite restaurant, but the past three visits have been a big disappointment. The serving size is noticeably smaller and the ingredients are lacking. Recently, I ordered the Thai Dynamite with chicken and they prepared it with no veggies! I asked for peanuts to be added and they sprinkled a ridiculous amount of chopped cashews on top. I have a mild allergy to cashews and was once again disappointed in their lack of detail to stick to the recipe. I will not be visiting this location in the future, it's a waste of money and the service isn't good. Untrained kids who don't know the menu, unkempt dining area without any napkins. I do enjoy the very clean, modern and dimly lit dining room at this location. But the food is just average, and the portions not big enough to split with my lover boy. We've been splitting Chinese takeout entrees since we were poor college students, and it's a habit we've kept. Anywho, we've never been able to do that at a Pei Wei else we leave hungry. Plus, they call it "Wei Better Orange Chicken"..umm, no way. It's tiny chunks of chicken, breading falls off easily, and the flavor is inferior to Panda Express. I've had other dishes at other locations over the years, but there's nothing here worth standing up and applauding over. Just middling flavors. It's only worth a visit if they have a special going or if you have killer coupon. Otherwise I'll stick with Panda or a local takeout place where the value is better. In this plate of Sesame Chicken w/ Fried Rice are six pieces of chicken, four of them pretty small and eight pieces of broccoli, a few of them pretty huge. We even ordered extra chicken for this plate and still received this. I walked in the restaurant, and the cashier was on her phone leaning against a wall a few Saturdays ago around 1 p.m. No greeting, no asking if I was ready to place an order. I work for a company that provides services, and even though I'm in IT, I have to take service training annually. Even the folks within the company who use IT services are our customers, so we have to treat our internal customers as guests. It's a great way to operate.
