My son got the red Thai curry, and it's really enough for two meals, easily. My pad also was twice the size of what I usually get at a restaurant and it actually tasted quite good. Oscar, the front end manager always greets us with a friendly smile and asks us how we are. Today I took his advice because I'm always trying to watch my weight and ordered shrimp with Chinese vegetables and fried rice with egg. The vegetables were cooked perfectly and delicious! There was broccoli, bok choy , onions and carrots and many shrimp in a light sauce! Thank goodness there wasn't any cauliflower or zucchini that lots of restaurants use for fillers nowadays. I also had a pint of wonton soup and there were actually scallions and bits of roast pork along with the wontons! There is always a hefty portion of their fried rice with egg. Dave had the Hunan Beef which was mildly spicy. He had the same veggies in his as mine and a large portion of rice. She went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect, and you can really tell she cares about the customers. We ended up coming back another time, actually hoping to see her again and when we found out she wasn't working there anymore, we were genuinely so sad. It's rare to come across someone who leaves that much of an impression just from great service. Pei Wei is lucky to have had someone like Hannah on their team. She definitely made us want to come back, and we hope she's doing amazing wherever she is now!
