My friend was coming to visit and she was craving Thai food. So we decided to go to Pu Thai. She had never been there she and ordered Drunken Noodles with Chicken and I ordered Pad See Ew with shrimp. I swear I could live on noodles and this dish was no exception. The noodles were wide and there was egg and a lot of beautiful veggies. The shrimp were plentiful and done perfectly. Both of us consumed our delicious dishes along with ice tea with lemon. Our server was very attentive and made sure everything was just perfect. The atmosphere is pretty and welcoming. There is a large TV featuring cooking of popular Thai foods. Pu Thai provides a lovely atmosphere for dining and enjoying friends.

Service here was awesome! We got seated quickly and the food came pretty fast too. The reason it's a 4 rating is because all of the dishes tasted good but not amazing. The green curry seemed to lack flavor as did the massaman curry. Mango sticky rice was good.

Honeydue bubble tea

Intimate quite place with authentic Thai food. I had the Nutty chicken with flavorful peanut sauce and one of my favorite honeydew bubble tea. The green curry is some of the best I've had since my times working on the ship. The owners are the only ones who makes the curry ensuring its consistency and great flavorful taste.

We went to dinner with a lovely couple we met at a Yelp event. (Hi Judy! Hi Dave!) Their recommendation to eat at Pu Thai was a good one. Sauces are delicious and the owner/chef -- from Thailand -- abides by one's requested level of spiciness. When we go to Thai restaurants we usually start with tom kha gai, but based on a Yelper's recommendation we changed direction. Nam sod it is! With minced pork, ginger, red onions, cilantro and more, we had high hopes for our entrees. Which were met. Almost. The chicken in our green curry was somewhat spongy and the beef in our pad si ew, a bit tough. Next time we'll go with tofu and shrimp. Maybe salmon, which must've been good. Dave said his dish was five stars. Service is friendly and attentive. Though the restaurant was preparing to close, we weren't rushed. All in all, a fun evening out ... and my leftover pad si ew was as good for breakfast this morning, as it was last night!

The wife and I stopped in after hearing about them via SWFL foodies blog. Really fresh and flavorful and loaded with vegetables and pork. Wife had fried rice and it was also really good and loaded with shrimp that were big. Very good service so would recommend you try it.

So, saying that I love Thai would be an understatement and being a million miles away from Bangkok of Daphne, I had ventured out to find a new Thai restaurant while working on Ft Myers Beach. The people are great, the ambiance is just right and the food, amazing. Prices are very reasonable too... So when in the Cape Coral area, you owe it to yourself to visit Pu Thai... Remember, support and eat at your local eateries or we all starve....

We went to this restaurant on a whim and now we can't stop thinking about it. We love the traditional Thai dishes but we especially love the sushi. They don't have a huge selection, but what they do have is some of the tastiest in town. Large rolls with fresh ingredients and perfectly seasoned rice? Yes, please!! My favorite is the Grace roll and I will order it every time I go there without fail. We are not able to give this restaurant five stars because the service is hit or miss. We either have a server with a slight attitude, a new server with zero experience, or the general issue of being understaffed. It's not bad enough to make us not frequent this restaurant, but it's noticeable enough to dock them a star for the overall experience. We really like this place!

Papaya Salad

Was craving Thai food and decided to have dinner here. The inside of the restaurant is casual and dimly lit. We tried the Papaya Salad, and it was great. It could have had more shrimp as there were only two pieces, but the actual salad was flavorful. We also tried the Thai Fried Wontons. The wontons weren't bad but weren't great either-- I wouldn't get it again as it was mostly fried wonton wrappers with little filling. The Pad Thai with Chicken was tasty and cooked well. I would get it again.

Stopped in here on A rainy Wednesday evening after choir to have dinner. It was empty. What a delight to sit (without bar food ambience) and be able to talk and with best friend over today's memorables. Dimming lights n background relaxing music. Nam Sod salad divided two ways- delish n medium spicy; my mango curried chicken/bell peppers was 5(both spicy, hot with sweet aftertaste). My BFF had eggplant lover, chicken with basil and rice which loved. We savored the jasmine n green teas. Excellent choice on a late night. Our server offered insight. Thai food isn't salted (Wow- what we like) and was ready to make our evening enjoyed. No rush! $46.70 + tip

Best Thai Food in Ft Myers that so have had. Location is a bit remote for some. However, the food will bring you back time and time again.

The sushi here is the best! Fresh, delicious and some of the best I've eaten. Love the miso soup,…read morechicken satay with peanut sauce & we always get edamame. Everything I've tried here has been good, our server was attentive and provided excellent service. The restaurant is clean, plays good music and the staff is friendly.

We are visiting and decided to try this on our first night here. We made a reservation, but…read morerealized when we got here that we probably didn't need to make one as the restaurant was fairly empty. We were greeted quickly and given a table immediately, which was nice. Service was friendly and prompt and we never had to ask for anything while we were there. Food was good, but some things were better than others. Portions were humongous, and a real value for the money, especially when we first thought the prices were a bit high. We started with the calamari and the vegetable spring rolls. The calamari came with tartar sauce and looked like onion rings. They were OK, but I've had better elsewhere. The spring rolls were crispy, but a little soggy with oil. They tasted great though. The sushi rolls were large, even laughable when my daughter got two of them. My son got the red Thai curry, and it's really enough for two meals, easily. My pad also was twice the size of what I usually get at a restaurant and it actually tasted quite good. We probably won't be back because we are on vacation, but if we lived in the area, I would certainly come back for the food, the service, and the portion sizes.
