We started with the spring rolls, which were delicious. Very crispy.. I had the red curry medium heat with grouper and it was wonderful. The perfect amount of heat and the vegetables were cooked Perfect nice and crunchy. The waitress who is the sister of the owner was outstanding. In the neighborhood and has a taste for Thai food for lunch! Orange Pepper was formed a few years ago when the original owner of Thai Garden retired. It maintained the same menu and cooking style of Thai Garden! I had many curry dishes like Red, Green, Penang, Massaman, Pad Thai and Pad Khee Mao under Thai Garden many years ago. Today, I opted for a deep-fried calamari over vegetables with medium heat. The calamari were fine but for some reason I preferred non-battered calamari! I love that Singha beer with a crisp and slightly bitter taste. It complemented the calamari well! As always, the staff is friendly and professional. The portion was good for lunch. I skipped my favorite dessert, Mango Sticky Rice today! read more

We sample Thai food everywhere we go and visited here while in the area. Sadly, they did not live up to their high average ratings. The atmosphere is eclectic to say the least with no consistent theming and the bathrooms had an odor of sewer gas. We tried to overlook that and hope for the best. Fortunately the food was flavorful, but sadly the portions were small given the price. A cup of soup for $8.95 is pretty steep. It was good, but not that good considering the size. The tea also tasted like some type of low cost instant tea. Sadly we would not return. read more

We ate at Orange Pepper Thai today with several friends. Everyone remarked how good their food was. I had the soft shell crab and it was delicious. The sauce was different but excellent. My wife had the Tom Yum chicken and thoroughly enjoyed it. Others had pad Thai, pad kee mao and other dishes. Every one was good. We plan to eat there again soon. read more
