The food and drinks are Extraordinary! As well as the service! Great location and prices as well.

Did not know they changed owners so my gift card was not accepted. In case anyone also had a gift card just be aware it may not be accepted. Service was a bit slow at early dining time. I did enjoy the flavors of the food. Beef Bulgolgi was large portion. Galbi also delicious. The Ban Chan sides were a little disappointing though, we thought we could have more options with our main entree meal but you can only choose 1 side. Salad, or soup, or Ban Chan. We were not used to that, compared to other places. Kimchi or the sides is usually included with your meal as a pairing for your entree. The sushi roll we got, Louisiana roll, was unique and tasted good.

This was a spontaneous date night out. We couldn't have been happier with our server Shephanie. She greeted us quickly and took our order with a smile on her face. We ordered She is on Fire & Galbi appetizer to start with. My husband ordered the Korean BBQ Fried Rice. I ordered the Yellowtail & Salmon Roe Sashimi, Black Russian & Florida Roll. The rolls were so fresh and such amazing artwork. We will be back for another round for sure!

Place was nice. The food was absolutely delicious, and the people were very friendly. I think I might have been the only customer there, but that's probably because it was a Monday afternoon. I would go back.

This restaurant in Ft Myers with sushi and bento box. I was here for lunch on assignment to Ft. Myers. I got the lunch special of the day. I have the bento box with salmon teriyaki. The combo come with two nigiri, half California roll, rice, slice of Orange, and miso soup. I would said slice of Orange is cheap for the box. Overall the salmon is well cook and tasty. Piece of salmon is small but no complaints. Service is good but a bit slow for lunch. Usually lunch crowds don't have a lot of time. The response time need a bit faster.

Food is expensive here. We ordered 5 things, and were happy with just the Lousiana toll. The Florida roll was very bland. Age-dashi tofu was not what we expected. It was dry on the inside. Miso soup portion was tiny, and is usually complimentary at other places. House salad portion is also tiny. Ginger dressing almost tastes like vinegar and ginger. Lousiana roll was tasty, but the fried garlic topping was burnt and bitter. Our order was $58, and did not feed two people.

2 regular sushi rolls 25 dollars. The calamari was 12 dollars, but just a very small portion and not fresh calamari covered by flour. I get the udon combo, they said come with the soup and salad, I didn't get it at all. If I can give zero, I will put zero start.

My daughter, husband, and I went to eat dinner at Origami for my daughter's 18th birthday. I loved their large, beautiful fountain and lights outside their front entrance. Very good for pictures! When we went inside, we were greeted by friendly staff, who took us to our table. For appetizers, we ordered: the Spicy Crab Spring Roll and the Gyoza (steamed potstickers). I ordered: clear soup, ginger house salad, and Naruto Roll (no rice). My husband ordered the udon bowl and my daughter ordered a very tasty sushi roll also (we just don't remember the name). We all really liked their interior decor also as it was all very pretty. Service was great! Reasonably priced! All of our food was delicious and the presentation of our food was equally amazing! Great sushi restaurant and Korean BBQ!! Overall, great experience!! Definitely recommend!!

    The tastiest thing ever.

All hail my king Stephen. Albeit it has been a year since I've been here, (I moved back to my hometown) I'm writing this because this place was that memorable... We still talk about our experience dining here to this day. We came here for my partners birthday and we were not disappointed. It was amaaazing. I would make the 3 hour drive just to eat here again. The owner Steve is such a great guy (and cook). Steve changed our lives that night. 10/10 recommend.

Definitely overpriced. Need to drop the prices or people are not gonna continue on.

I could eat here every single day. That's not hyperbole that's just facts…read more Let's talk about the man, the myth, the legend: if you can get the chef they call G, do it. This guy cooks everything to absolute perfection. And here's the thing he's the only chef I've had at Daruma who doesn't overcook my lobster tail. If you know, you know. Lobster is unforgiving, and G treats it with the respect it deserves. The Emperor's Feast remains undefeated: lobster, filet, and shrimp. This is the move. This is always the move. But listen closely get the filet, not the New York strip. The quality difference is night and day. Trust me on this one. Every meal comes with soup and salad to start, and the fried rice? Amazing. Perfectly seasoned, great texture, the kind of fried rice that makes you wonder why you ever settle for less anywhere else. Don't sleep on the ginger sauce either it ties everything together beautifully. And wash it all down with a large Sapporo, ice cold, because life is good. Now, if you've seen people complaining about this place, I can almost guarantee it's a timing issue, not a food issue. We have never and I mean never had anything here that didn't taste good. The only complaint I've ever had is the occasional overcooked lobster, and even that's rare. When you've got G on the grill, it's not even a concern. The Verdict: Daruma is the best hibachi in Fort Myers, and it's not close. The Emperor's Feast with filet is the ultimate order, G is the chef you want, and the whole experience from soup to Sapporo is consistently on point. Five stars, every time. This is the spot.

SPACE / AMBIANCE They have outdoor patio seating, but inside is more vibey with great decor behind the bar - check out the photos. SERVICE We dined on Art Walk night, and the place was SLAMMED. They were clearly understaffed, but that doesn't make up for the poor service. Our server took 15 minutes to get to us and greet us, and even longer to get us water and take our order. It took 30 minutes to bring two glasses of wine and whiskey on the rocks. Our server didn't check in at all between the time we ordered our food and drinks together and when it came out - no apologies for the long wait, refresh of waters, etc. and instead was talking with fellow servers behind the bar. For a higher end restaurant, even if you're packed, attentive service or even just one check-in is a must. DRINKS We loved the wine we got! None of the cocktails stood out to us, and were quite pricey, so we passed on those. MENU I was quite disappointed to find it isn't Japanese Italian fusion, but rather Japanese and Italian dishes offered separately on the menu. To me, Japanese-Italian fusion is Japanese flavors in pasta or on pizza - but this is just sushi and pasta on the same menu. FOOD Again, prices are steep here - to be expected when sushi is involved. We ordered: Shishito peppers - great! Spicy salmon crispy rice - crispy rice was great; quite small; very heavy on the crispy onions Crab roll - was lacking flavor and depth for me Hand roll - delish with the pork belly! Meatball - overpriced for a meatball and a piece of bread, but good flavor Potatoes - perhaps our favorite thing we tried? Good sauce! Elote corn - why is a Mexican dish on an already confused menu? Wouldn't be my pick to return to, unfortunately.
