House Curry
Kara V.

This spot is off my beaten path, but I am glad someone reminded me of it so I could visit again. The inside is very bland and plain with little ambiance, but don't let that deter you. Service was quick, helpful, and attentive. I got the House Curry and it was WONDERFUL! Sweet and savory and very peanutty with lots of fresh vegetables. My friend got Pad Thai and she said it's her favorite in the area. I will definitely return to try more!

Everything was great! I can't wait to come back and try other dishes ! Everyone was very kind and welcoming. I can't wait to come back for the softshell crab! Definitely a must try in fort Myers

Restaurant

We were in the neighborhood, and we saw Thai Star, so we decided to stop in for dinner. Boy, were we impressed. First, our server, Monique, was exceptional. Second, the restaurant was clean and inviting. Third, the food is excellent. I lived in Los Angeles most of my life where there are, many great Thai restaurants. I think this is the best Thai restaurant I've been to in Southwest Florida. We ordered Tom Kha Gai, which was very flavorful. They control the heat/spice level very well here, btw. The Thai iced tea was excellent, as well as the Pad Thai and the Massaman Curry. Total cost was about $50. Portions were large and the ingredients seemed very fresh. Definitely enough food for us to take home for a second serving. Highly recommend on all fronts.

Takeout Red curry mild spice level

Surviving the pandemic deserves special recognition, especially for an Asian family run establishment. Finally leaving a review to organize my personal tips. Tamarind based pad thai with accompanying coconut soup for lunch is my favorite dine in. My wife prefers the red curry at mild spice level and eaten family style. For takeout, the soy sauce based pad see ew uses a different rice noodle which holds up better. The soup has to be purchased separately. Overall, three and half stars.

ordered spring rolls with shrimp. which cost $2 extra and asked for sauce I got one tiny old tasting shrimp in the middle, along with it I go some hot liquid NOT the peanut sauce it's supposed to have. I do not recommend.

This doesn't look like much when you're walking by but it is a small family style, clean Thai restaurant. I have been here two different occasions and have not been disappointed and will continue to come back. During our first visit my husband and I tried the Thai iced tea which was delicious, I tried the chicken pad Thai, my husband had the combination fried rice and it was all very good. We came back for a second visit and I also tried some hot green tea, some spring rolls and the drunken noodles. My husband tried the happy three that came with white rice and we got the sticky mango rice for dessert. Everything was delicious and great friendly service. Will be back!

Chicken House Fried Rice - HUGE portion (so many leftovers), so yum!

One of my favorite Thai dishes is Drunken Noodles and Thai Star's Drunken Noodles is delicious!!! I got it with chicken, added carrots and got level 3 out of 5 spice level, which had a good kick/spice to it (I like spicy) but not over-powering. Great flavor! Also, the chicken House Fried Rice was very good too! LARGE portions for both, many leftovers :) Definitely recommend this place, which is our new go-to Thai place in town. Got the food to-go but restaurant was very clean, staff was very friendly and wearing masks AND full face shields. They also have a few large TVs in the restaurant

This is a great place to get Thai food in the Fort Myers area. The lunch special is great. I usually get the pad thai and the coconut soup is included. The coconut soup is really incredible as was the pad thai. The gyoza was OK, but I don't think I would get it again. The service was great too.

Pad see ew with chicken was very good but needed more broccoli!

Waitress was fast and food was delicious! The coconut noodle soup was amazing ...so good that I took a cup home with me as well. I ordered the Pad See ew...rice noodles sautéed with broccoli carrots and had a sweet soy sauce. I ordered it a 2 in spice but it wasn't enough for me. Only complaint is that I would have liked more broccoli with the dish. I'll come back here for lunch or dinner again. They were quick to bring everything out as well!

This restaurant hits the spot every time I'm in the area. Actually, it knocks it out of the park. love the family that owns the spot too.

Curry shrimp was awesome. Service was great and food came out quickly and hot. Normal asian decor nothing fancy. Definitely will return.
