It's been a while since I've been back here but I have to say that Randy knows his sh*@t. I bought a drone and for the life of me couldn't figure out why it wouldn't stabilize. I took it in, Randy spent 20 minutes helping me and gave me some advice on how to fix the drone. I went home, spent 30 minutes modifying the drone...problem fixed. Problem 2, I had also bought another drone that had something funky with the gyro. He replaced it no questions asked. I will definitely come back! read more

I took my friend to this place to find parts to build a small electric car. The "employees/kids" at the r/c section were rude and just passed us by when we asked for help. We waited for 30 minutes after these kids got tired of just standing around and finally helped us. All they did is refer us to a different section of the store while they laughed at us. Should get no stars!DONT GO HERE!!!This place has the worst return policy ever and waaaay expensive prices and is totally racist! My BF bought a remote double rotor helicopter here, but after doing a little more research the day he bought it... He found it on amazon for $49 And He paid $107here! In addition we found this helicopter to be out of his league for a beginner... So He called and spoke to a woman who was very nice and she said He could return it no problem. The day after he bought it, We went there and this guy named TONY, was a complete Jerk. Not only did he insult my BF by getting upset and yelling at him for buying the wrong helicopter but he made my BF feel about the size of an ant... He belittled him for not knowing about helicopters and then played the whole I know more then you card and I'm so cool cuz I know so much about hobby crap... Ok if you call a middle aged dood working in a hobby store cool...LAME...in addition he made totally racist remarks about how my BF's kind always do this?! I was like wuuuut!?! My BF is Asian btw...this guy was sooo outta line! he was totally racist...!! He said this under his breath but We totally heard him! I couldn't believe this guy! Anyway My BF told him that He wanted to return it and was told He could do so... He then proceeded to say that He lied about talking to someone and charged him a 20% re-stocking fee! Wtf! We were so mad at this point We just wanted to leave... he kept antagonizing us with comments while we were trying to check out and do the return....his comments were so rude! we didn't ask to speak with a manger..because we were so angry... But we should have! Listen, I can honestly say we did not talk to this guy rude or treat him bad to make him act like that.. He was just a jerk from the get go... I shopped here for about seven years for all my rc stuff. However, service has gone way downhill and prices went uphill. The rc staff is very knowledgeable, but the prices and service is horrible. Every time I needed to speak with the clerk Jackie, she was always rude and had the "I just work here not my problem" attitude. Prices were on horizon hobby were half of what they charged in the store, so these guys were blatantly overcharging their customers. Granted, there are not a lot of shops in the area, but if I drive twenty minutes more I can get great service and the best pricing from ultimate hobbies. Tony... Tony... Tony.... Oh how you have a loyal customer now, in both my son and I. Let me start off by saying my son is the ultimate builder. My house is constantly full of half going projects. Some work like a charm on others he makes mistakes and learns from them to move and apply to the next project. He came in today asking for parts needed to make his own RC car. Well when all was said and done Tony estimated that he was looking at $300. Of course my son was devastated. Seeing how much he wanted to build Tony not only encouraged him to save money and gave him ideas on how to earn money. He also told him about lay away options and told my son not give up on his aspirations of building and creating. It meant a lot that Tony not only took the time to explain everything to my son but he spoke to him like a little man. My son walked out with hope that he could do this it will just take time, patience and hardwork. Ummmmm, that's all I try to teach my son everyday so having a cool guy like Tony reinforce it not only made my son happy but made me appreciate that we still have kind, caring people out there. I just bought my first rc car a few weeks ago from here. A slash stock 2x4. The customer service is good when they aren't swamped with customers. The guys that work in the rc department know their stuff and didnt make me feel belittled like folks in previous comments. Every time Ive been in they recommend good products for what Im trying to do with my truck....Also people should do their research b4 you come in to have an idea of what you want. My only advise as being in retail for many years.....If you see a customer waiting, Acknowledge them and let them know you will be with them as soon as you're done with your current costumer. But this is the best store as far as stock in the area. They do mark up the prices up a bit but if your getting into the RC hobby your going to invest in it. read more

It's better than it used to be. I hated the place at first but I needed supplies and they were about all there was. That was around 2000. Started buying from online shops. Recently went back to Pegasus. The incredibly arrogant and rude salespeople were gone. The previously useless sales staff was more helpful. The prices are kind of steep on kits but they have what I need when I need it.. If you are new to hobbies probably this is not your place. They do seem to think that playing with RC monster trucks is some kid of special thing. read more

We just had my son's birthday party at the outdoor track and everyone had a blast! My son and his friends loved running the RC cars on the track. The food was on time and our track attendant was excellent! He was friendly and informative. He changed batteries promptly and fixed the cars as quickly as possible. We were also impressed that they didn't rush us out of there at the end of the party! I would highly recommend them for an RC car party! read more

The selection for all their areas is stout. Their prices reflect the area, which has a little money to burn. Greg the RC attendant was beyond helpful, and knew his stuff! For the service alone, I would pay a little extra. I hope this continues, because I was attracted out here after some seriously substandard help in Covina, at a different shop. My daughter and I were in the store the day after Christmas day to spend some money she received from her grandparents. We were looking at the lionel trains. The store was a lot of fun. We were looking at the model layout in the store when my daughter discovered a sound box with realistic train sounds...she kept pressing the buttons (chugga chugga woo woo!). We were getting excited about the trains. We were actually ready to purchase a Lionel set ($250). I was carrying the box in hand. When a clerk was giving us dirty looks because we were having fun with the sound box. He finally walked over and disconnected the box and walked away not saying anything. My daughter's smile dropped. This was very rude. It made me angry...I put the train set down and walked out of the store. I guess the store has so much business that they can afford to be rude to customers. read more

Pegasus is a great store but, today I called to see if they had a certain color of Pactra Paint (floresent racing yellow) and SHE said they had just floresent yellow witch is the same. I told her there was a difference between Flo racing Yellow and just Flo Yellow,and she told me,Look honey, i have been ordering paint for 11yrs and they don't have a Flo Racing Yellow. Original review from 10/27/2015 that keeps getting removed....I normally don't do yelp or the internet but had to because my experience at this place was so horrible that people should be aware before shopping here. I recently purchased a "ominus" quad copter for a little over 80 bucks. When I got home and opened the package I noticed that the rotor blades were scuffed, scratched and bent. Also the packaging had obviously already been torn open and the replacement rotor blades were completely missing. When I took the quad copter back to the store the staff refused to refund me or allow me to exchange the product. Furthermore the staff was rude, disrespectful and even said things such as "well its f---ed up because I already took it out and played with it."....I believe his name was Tony, he was the African-American who worked in the airplane department. When I demanded to speak with a supervisor I spoke with a lady named Gale who was also very rude and abrupt. She told me that it wasn't in there policy to return used items....EVEN THOUGH I HADN'T USED IT YET!....I would never recommend anyone to shop here unless you like being insulted and ripped off. read more
