Surprisingly I've never been into a Peet's coffee before. I recently moved here and have never lived anywhere that really has them. I was impressed with the food and beverage menu, merchandise and ambiance of this location in Town & Country. It reminded me a lot of Starbucks and apparently there's even an app. The layout is much like Starbucks although I prefer the coffee here. I got a dirty chai latte that was delicious and it didn't take long at all. This looks like a great place for a coffee get together or a place to get work done alone.

Stay away from the matcha it's disgusting. Peet's stick to coffeee only or figure out a better recipe. You can tell just from how it looks.

This location makes good drinks, has indoor seating, and has wall outlets and WiFi that is reasonable. That's all I really want out of a Peet's Coffee. It's almost always crowded, especially on weekend mornings as the downtown Palo Alto crowd and Stanford students get their coffees. The orders may be a little slow to come out, but it's understandable. And if all the indoor seats are filled, it's usually not too long of a wait before a party leaves, and plus there are plenty of outdoor tables and benches around Town and Country Village Shopping Center that are nice enough. There are also public restrooms next to the Diptyque store that are kept clean. I will rotate my order between iced vanilla latte and iced matcha latte. I tried one of the iced espresso drinks with condensed milk, don't remember the name, but I should have known better as it was way too sweet for my taste.

I am a huge fan of Peet's coffee! They have a wonderful selection of drinks with options for alternative milk if you are lactose intolerant or desire something different. They also have a simple and yet wide variety of pastries and sandwiches. I think when I appreciate the most about Peet's is that it tastes like coffee. Other places seem to overdo it with the sugar and sometimes it taste more like syrup and hot water than anything else. This particular branch is located near the Stanford University campus. You can expect to find all types of people working, studying, and conversing there. the day we visited happen to be my birthday and it was such a wonderful morning out. It was foggy, cold, and a perfect time to get something warm to drink and warm to eat. The service was amazing and very quick! Walking in, you are met with warm lights with warm tones the noise is average may be even quieter but definitely not a place that sounds like it's a mess. I enjoyed actually sitting down and having a cup of coffee with my fiancé. If you happen to be in the area looking for a good cup of Joe, and maybe even a short break from sitting in your car, be sure to stop by this place in the morning. it would do you well to help out the traffic and also a great time to start the morning a little more calm.

Love coming here in the early morning just a little time to decompress from the week. Nice atmosphere, small and quiet. Friendly staff always with a smile even when it gets busy which I know that it's hard to do sometimes to when it's slammed...

Great location, fast service and efficient staff. Really enjoyed the visit here the last few times and thought to leave a little note of appreciation for the great job they do at this location compared to some others I have visited in the past. Will definitely stop by for my oat milk latte again. Love the fact they have started carrying the parley milk!!! Yummy

    Iced lattes pre-oat milk change

I've been going here for years because it, by far, had the best iced lattes. Now the oat milk has changed so I no longer like them but the coffee is still high quality. Pros: - High quality coffee, espresso isn't perpetually burnt like Starbucks - Good food - Recently added a new sandwich without egg which is really good - Genuinely nice staff who go above and beyond to help customers and build relationships with them - Good seating for doing work, nice big tables - Generally better coffee than other Peet's stores - baristas seem to have better training at this one - Staff puts up with high school students every school day at lunch, dealing with a lot of stress - Actually stay open and make drinks until the closing time Cons: - Just changed their oat milk to Chobani. It used to be Pacific Foods barista edition and it was high quality and creamy. - Can be hard to find seating sometimes. They recently remodeled and the high tables are super uncomfortable and disability unfriendly. The rest of the seating is good, but chairs are not the comfiest. - Used to be open until 9 p.m., now only until 7 p.m.

I love peets! I also love their staff! They recently remodeled! I always get their matcha latte and chorizo flatbread ! It was solid! Parking is tough but I love it !

Loved their coffee Also loved how their staff ( Blonde young woman ) was super helpful with my Awkward or demanding order which was Their Havanna latte with almond milk and I believe with about 6-7 shots of espresso total.... ( was on a San Diego to San Francisco and back to San Diego Drive Just for the kicks and giggles- time to think about life ) And that was one of three coffees I got lol... Definitely leaving Starbucks for PEETS coffee because of their continuous great coffee and professional staff

Dear Starbucks, we both knew this time would come. My golden latte heart has finally found me. Perhaps someday for some other girl you will be less bitter and burned and more sweet & spicy like my new love. We can certainly still be friends and I do wish you the best #peetsgoldenlatte #gingertumerichoneyspice&heart #servicewithasmile&heart

I have already been to Covour a handful of times, mostly on weekdays, where I'm usually planted there for a few hours to do some work or study. On the weekends, it can get quite busy, while weekdays are more of a gamble depending on how many people are there. The parking lot is on the smaller side, so on busy days, it can feel a bit hectic. The space itself has a good number of tables to work or study from, along with great lighting. I really appreciate the selection of drinks they have, ranging from fun flavored lattes like tiramisu and burnt brown sugar to matchas, hojichas, and classic cafe staples like americanos and flat whites. Everything I've had here has been delicious and always hits the spot. They also have a range of food and toasts you can order. I recently got the ricotta and honey toast, which was delicious and light! Heads up, though, as expected, they do run low on stock later in the day. I came around 2 PM, and there were maybe four baked goods left. Overall, it's a great choice, and if you're in the area, definitely check them out.

You pay about 8 dollars for a drink or soft serve, and if you ask for light ice they still pack it with ice and honestly you get hardly any drink, secondly lately the lady that made my cone the last few times likes to do a big circle and leave a big hole in the soft serve which also now leaves you with less / hardly any ice cream for your money. Most importantly I had the worst customer service from her this last visit. It was so bad another lady waiting for her items asked for her name and told her the same things I was saying. I have to say the day I went in, the young lady working the register was very sweet and helpful. Hats off to her for knowing what customer service is. Most importantly, the older lady working drinks and the soft serve machine about 1:30 ish ( name might be vaung? Didn't hear after when I walked away) today was rude as all can be and so unprofessional!!! Her alone makes me not want to go back. I ordered 2 drinks and a soft serve. My order was called out. when I went to retrieve it, It was missing the soft serve and the one drink didn't have the soft serve in it either. I told her my order is missing two things and she yells out this is order 2. I said it's wrong and she pushes the drinks towards me. I explained again what's wrong and she proceeded to help someone else. Comes back and says this is your order. I pull out my receipt and say there's no soft serve cone or soft serve in the drink, and may I please have a bag for the drinks. She goes to make my cone finally, gives me my cone and again I have to say there's no soft serve in the drink. She looks at the drink like I'm lying and then inspected the drink to see if there was any. smh ... literally looks at the drink and starts shaking it to see if there's any. Then finally does go to take care of it. She comes back with it. I asked for a bag again and then she says I need to charge you. Mind you, i'm holding the cone in one hand and the two drinks in my other arm against my chest . Whether or not you're supposed to charge is beyond the point it's the fact that she never apologized. It took more than once to get this right and then you're gonna make me go pay for a bag separately when my hands are full with two drinks and an ice cream cone on top of it. It was the way she handled it all. She was rude!!!! On top of it, then another lady actually proceeded to complain about her because she was rude to her as well, and she laughed at us, like it was okay for her to be rude or whatever we're saying was a joke. Worst customer service I've ever had in there and I felt this is something that should be mentioned. on top of it lastly she left a nice big hole in the middle of my cone so I barely got any ice cream. Might not care because I'm just one person, but they just lost a customer. Maybe two from what I saw today. Do better!! With all the other business around if someone is choosing to come in to your establishment, they should not be treated rude. Looking at some of the other reviews as well, I see the ice thing and bag thing has been repeated. If you know someone's order multiple things and you see they are alone. Maybe ask will you need a bag before hand. Not when they have everything handed to them and then say I need to charge you. I tried to call the management to bring this to them first and there's no answer on the phone or the email I sent over. Maybe they don't care either.

Pricey but the items were high quality. Store is a small footprint with limited utilities (no WiFi, bathroom was temporarily out of order).
