Less than 2 weeks ago we purchased an air compressor from them that quit working a couple of days ago. We tried to return if for AN EXCHANGE, not a refund and they would not take it back. They only offered to send it at to the manufacturer for repair and we were told it would take 4 weeks to get it back. Really? What are my worker's suppose to do in the meantime? We had to buy a new compressor from Lowes just to keep working. We had the receipt in hand to exchange the compressor and was basically shown the door. We will NEVER buy another single thing from them and would caution everyone to shop else where is you want a company to stand behind their product.

As a bonus, we were told that this style stone was discontinued and we can buy the lot for discounted price. Though it was a little more stone than was needed. This company sells a good assortment of large trees....but my experience is a huge disappointment…read more After purchasing 3 ball and burlap trees that cost me a retail price of over $1500....and after them being planted the very next day, One tree was found to have a huge gouged/scraped trunk that was well hidden behind the cloth that was strapped around the middle of the multi trunks. This damaged bark could get diseased....or at the very least, it will take over a year to heal. So do not waste your time picking out what looks like good speciments, since siteones explantioin is that is how they come in. They do not inspect the trees, presumably, as they come in for sale. Secondly, one of the other trees (all the same variety) has not shown any sign of buds, no leafs coming out. Yet the other 2 are looking green. Most upsetting is to learn that siteone gives No guarantee on these expensive trees, Not even for 30 days. Their explanation is that they are a wholesaler, yet they charged me retail, since I am not a landscaper who has an account with them. Buyer Beware

I'd had a few people suggest to me to use this company for landscaping materials. So, since I was new to this area, I did. I purchased landscaping rocks along with three palm trees. After about one month after having the palms planted, two of the smaller European Fan Palms were completely dead. I bought one large Sago Palm that seems to be still surviving. Of course, since the small palms were almost $200 each, I contacted Mulch Bucket. I was told there was no warranty at all on their trees. I was also told this particular palm had been discontinued. I was not even given an, "I'm sorry this happened." They suggested I come back and purchase more trees from them. I was quite surprised at such an unrealistic idea. No, I'm not a "troll."

We went to Discount Landscape Supply on March 6, 2026, for their Spring Open House…read more Even though we got there at 10:00 when it started, it seemed that everyone had the same idea. We went to purchase 2 Crepe Myrtle Trees for our yard. One of the gentlemen who worked there was very pleasant and helpful in showing us the available trees. We chose the two we liked and made arrangements to have them delivered as he went back to tag them as SOLD. Late that afternoon, they arrived at our home with our two trees. Since it was later in the day, we waited until the next day to start planting them in the ground. My husband dug the first hole, and as we were settling the tree into its new home, I started to remove the tags. I was looking at the color wording of the Crepe Myrtle, and lo and behold, it was a RIVER BIRCH, and so was the second one. I immediately called the store to explain that we had gotten the wrong trees. They had me send pictures and said they would get back to me ASAP. Since that Saturday was the second day of their Spring Sale, they were even busier than the previous day and closed on Sunday. But 1st thing Monday morning, they called and were very apologetic for the error. The Birch and Crepe Myrtle were sitting right next to each other and just got tagged wrong. Later that Monday morning, the truck with our Myrtles showed up and picked up the Birch, apologizing again for the error. So now we have our two trees planted and just waiting for the beautiful purple blooms to appear. Discount Landscape, you are the best.

Ken was professional, courteous and prompt to our estimate. He listen to what we wanted and worked within our budget. They gave us a time frame of when the work would be started and how long it would take to be completed. They did everything from permitting to pouring cement, framing, screening and running electrical wires. They did it neatly and respectfully to us and our neighbors and they did it on schedule. Thank you 1st choice, especially Ken, Chris & Chris's helper who's name I don recall, we are now enjoying our porch, rain or shine. We have been enjoying our enclosure for over 6 months with no issues at all. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Be advised that they are a South Carolina Company who at the time did not have a licencsed electrical contractor for NC. I was made aware of this upfront and my electrical contractor was listed on my permit by Ken. Also be aware that Brunswick county requires an as built survey they only resently started enforcing it. This was not on 1st Choice. This added 3 months to final inspect.
