I did a Google search to find a doctor nearby and found Dr. Mehfoud. When I went into the office, the staff was friendly and sociable, and the other patients seemed to enjoy the office as well. After a very short wait, I was sent back to the doctor. Most of the time, when you go to see a doctor, you end up waiting in the waiting room forever, then they send you back to the room, where you end up waiting a lot longer. Dr. Mehfoud was in the room within ten minutes, and instead of making me feel rushed or like he was in a hurry, he was very thorough and asked a wide range of questions to diagnose. I appreciated his manner and thought he did a great job of discussing treatment options with me. He is a wonderful doctor and really seemed to care about his patients. I will be keeping him as a PCP!

I was referred to Dr. Brengman who immediately took control of the situation and not only worked on the gastro problem, but all the other associated triggers. He referred me to other specialist to work on underlying connected illnesses related to the primary concern. His entire practice was professional, organized and knowledgeable. They run their practice like a well oiled machine. Dr. Brengman was excellent. He took the time necessary to educate me on what needed to be done, and answer any questions I had. He made my experience painless. I had to have a procedure done and I knew I was in good hands. I was supposed to have this procedure done with another practice and that was a nightmare. My entire experience was amazing. I will sing the praise of Dr. Brengman and his practice forever. I recommend him personally as the best surgeon in his profession. Before you think about seeing any Specialist in this field of practice, give them a call you won't regret it!

Everything was fine until we got to the vaccinations portion of the visit. My daughter is partial vaccinated currently we are exempt which the office should have been aware of because we used to deal with Dr. Loya prior to her retirement with no issues after expressing or change. Dr. McKnight gave me documentation to review and I politely took the papers while still firm on my decision. She continued to mention the importance and how she does for her children. Then after we went to vision and hearing and then dismissed. I was confused to why I did not receive a copy of the physical just performed, asking the nurse Jennifer for a copy. She was rude staying the documents you have is all you need (information on vaccinations). When I know from previous experience I always received a copy in the past. I inquired again then she said your child is not vaccinated so I can't get you those documents. Also rudely asking for a form I had in my hand that was supposed to be turned in. After I inquired more than a couple of times she stormed off with a attitude and had the office assistant bring me the completed physical form. I asked the ladies in the medical office they said we can't get you the copy but can fax it somewhere if you need. I then knew what was going on, the attitudes and demeanor had changed because I did not want to get my child vaccinations. I informed the ladies in the office that they shouldn't treat people like that based on their belief, no response or apology. ** next day** I spoke with the office manager on the phone while waiting upon my return for a correction on the physical/ copy of sports physical. Debbie who was unable to give me the nurse full name on the nickname of Jenn for as she mentioned legal reasons, but I will be filling a report with the Virginia Board of Medicine regarding this treatment. I came the next day to have the document given yesterday corrected (incorrect initial on my daughter's name) and to have the proper physical filled out for her sport. The lady at the medical office tried to justify the incorrect spelling because my initial was what was used. I am aware human error happen but do not blame me for that, especially when all of the papers I filled out was completed correctly with my daughters name and date of birth. After waiting about 20 minutes the documents were ready yet the date of birth was incorrect so we had to wait a few more minutes for the correction. We were handed the documents and politely went on our way, without an in person apology from the nurse, doctor or medical staff for our treatment. Please be aware of service given here! I was sent for X-rays (not needed) and ultrasounds, which they said they were never faxed for weeks--- which they were, the company that sent them verified with me multiple times that they sent them to the correct number. They then expected me to come back for treatment although I needed to see a specialist to get surgery. They seem to prefer to do telemed appointments, which are not very helpful and cost the same as a regular visit. I am on the younger end of the age span of his patients so take from it what you will. The front desk woman was a bit short, as if she had dealt with an onslaught of frustrating people, but was still professional. My wait time was short for my appointment - I arrived at 1:20pm for my 1:30pm appointment with my new patient paperwork filled out. The nurse, Stephanie, was sweet and efficient. Not 45 seconds after she walked out, Dr. Turner was in the room. He's not much of a talker and I might have read him as disinterested if I didn't know better - he's anything but. He was thorough and expeditious in his physical and assessment. The phlebotomist was very nice; unfortunately, it felt like she drove a piling into my arm and then fished around for a vein before giving up and trying the other. I'm not a huge fan of needles but I can generally donate blood without much fuss - it was a pretty rough stick. As I was leaving, I spoke with Dr. Turner again and he was more animated and very comforting about my concerns. Despite negative reviews I've seen, my first impression was overall positive. The front desk and phlebotomy left something to be desired but not even close to a true issue.

He is friendly and efficient, and I've witnessed the patience and kindness of the receptionists as they helped an elderly lady who mistakenly came to the office on a wrong day. My husband developed severe abdominal pains, stopped by the office, and was sent immediately to the hospital. This quick action saved his life. If you need to contact Dr. Turner after hours, there is always a doctor on call to help with your issues. What more can you want in a GP?
