I started bringing my children here after my old pediatrician retired. The good? You can get a sick appointment whenever you need. They follow the APA guidelines for vaccines and are not a vaccine optional practice. The front desk staff and the NP's are lovely and very nice. The downside? Dr. Harrington. She has absolutely horrible beside manner. She is condescending and I have not once had an interaction with her where she has not talked down to me. And talked down to me about the dumbest things. She speaks to me like I am a teenager who has no idea what they're doing. All of this is completely unsolicited and unwarranted. The NP's don't address me like she does. I don't know why she works with children because she ignores them and talks like they aren't there. read more

My granddaughter has been a patient of Dr. Auerbach's since 2019 and he is one of the best pediatricians I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. He is knowledgeable, attentive and always takes time to talk with us and interact with my granddaughter. Now, at 3 years old, she knows that when she is sick, she can see him. If you're looking for a pediatrician who will prescribe you an antidepressant that causes relentless weight gain, then bully you about said weight gain in front of your whole family - Dr. Harrington is the one to see! I've been coming to Chesterfield Pediatrics since I moved to chesterfield at age 3, and have had mostly good experiences. It was only up until recently that my sister and I were switched from Dr. Ahmed to Harrington (Ahmed is wonderful and kind - definitely recommend). I had been switching between various antidepressants throughout my time at Chesterfield Peds, but was put on Paxil specifically after the doctor switch. One of the side effects we weren't warned about was severe weight gain - and I was on this medicine for over a year. Granted, my body rejects SSRIs in particular, which exacerbated adverse effects, so I cannot blame Harrington entirely for this. However, she made no effort to tell us what the side effects were, or give us really any information about the drug at all. I gained about 30 pounds over that year and it destroyed my self-confidence, Harrington's snarky, passive-aggressive comments about said weight gain only making it worse. At my family's new doctor, it was exclaimed - in horror - that she would never prescribe Paxil to anyone, especially not a teenage girl. Never in my life had I been so happy to turn 18 and no longer be a patient there. I did switch to wellbutrin, and lost almost all of the weight I gained, however I now have an extremely unhealthy relationship with food and my own self-image extending well into my adult life. I'm in college now, and with free reign over my eating habits, they've gotten completely skewed. The crippling fear I experience regarding weight gain often leads to days in which I eat very little, or not at all. The staff at Chesterfield Pediatrics has been so wonderful to my family ever since we were toddlers - don't get me wrong. Every other doctor we've encountered has been very pleasant to work with. But if you do choose this office - please, for the love of god - avoid Harrington at all costs. The only thing you have to gain is a bill from the therapy your child will need. read more

Let me start off by saying The way that the owner responds back to patients complaints on here speaks volumes alone! They honestly don't even deserve 1 star!My child will not be returning to this practice.I will be filing a complaint with the department of health provisions as well. I must stress this ,DO NOT bring your children here! This is an honest review. I do not owe them money and I was not removed from the practice. I also must stress if your children are black do not take your child to this practice! This is definitely one of those facilities where they ignore the complaints of black kids and how they feel. No matter how many symptoms you are showing they will not treat you to resolve the matter they will tell you your child's body will have to fight it on it's on. My child with reoccurring fevers for four days straight, waking up in the middle of the night with a sore throat, A rash out of nowhere And would not eat anything for five days! They tested her for covid and strep the first day. both instant test came back negative and they sent her home. The next day she still had a fever I called back and they told me to wait until the doctor she seen comes back since she's off. RIDICULOUS! I asked to see a different doctor so my child wouldn't have to suffer just because the doctor is off and ended up seeing dr Harrington Which was no better and is sad because she actually owns the practice! The first doctor told me that my child throat was red the second doctor said oh everything looks fine her body is just gonna have to fight it off! They told me she was fine to be around kids once the fever broke. The fever finally went away and I let her be around other kids they call me back on the fifth day and let me know that her strep results were actually POSITIVE! So for five days my daughter suffered with no treatment although she was reflecting all of the symptoms of strep throat they chose not to treat her after going for two visits! To put the ice in on the cake they called me that morning to let me know that they sent the prescription over once I get to cvs hours after speaking with them ,they never even sent the prescription over. when I call back instead of an apology for the inconvenience I was just told oh it was an error message. No type of sympathy no type of customer advocacy at all. Notice how the owner has no sympathy I. Response to any of the previous complaints. I'm not the only patient fed up with this office . There's some truth to how they do business. I don't care if if your kids gets Medicaid don't take your Medicaid or business to to this practice! I honestly could care less about how they respond on this platform because the way they respond it when I spoke to them on the phone had no type of sympathy so whatever if they do respond with sympathy to this review ,it's just for show.look at their google reviews read more

Avoid...unless you have unlimited funds for spending on medical costs. We have had two bad experiences here with billing. Both times we made it clear to the staff we were on a high deductible medical plan and needed to know what the costs were ahead of time. First experience... A standard physical... Fixed cost quoted up front was reasonable HOWEVER BEWARE apparently a physical does not include an eye check (extra) hearing check (extra) and the doctor recommended checking blood too (also extra). We disputed these extra fees, but of course got zero from billing dept. Second time...needed a prescription refill for allergy meds..would not refill unless our child was seen but lucky for us they had an appointment open!!!! (Actually not so lucky) We got billed for that appointment: 1) a "moderate/urgent" appointment (extra charge for seeing him quickly) 2) a $70 charge to blow in a flow meter test( yes, no kidding) All in all I just do not earn enough to bring my kids here with the nickel and dime "extra" charges and overall poor customer attitude their billing department has. So I take pleasure in moving my 3 kids to another pediatric clinic knowing my money goes elsewhere. (Btw...they really should think what revenue they lose due to these nickel dime tactics...they stood to make a lot from us if they had responded differently ) 3 kids x 10+ years care = a lot of money!!! read more

We love it here! I used to see Dr. Bones at Chesterfield Pediatrics as a child. We have been going here for the last 7 years with our 3 children and we have never been disappointed. Their after hours line is super helpful when accidents happen out of the normal hours of operation. Also we are loving their new extended hours! read more

Dr. Ahmed & Nurse Practitioner Lauren are great! Would definitely recommend to any new parents or parents searching for a pediatric office. Being a first time parent I made a lot of calls and office visits in my child's first year. They were amazing and very thorough with every visit. read more
