After much research I visited a local Pedego dealer in spring lake. Adam, the owner, answered all my questions. After a test ride, I was sold! The ebikes are beautiful and they are a pleasure to ride. I purchased a green Element and a red Boomerang. Adam delivered the bikes to my door and fitted each bike for the specifics of the rider. Awesome eBike Shop for Rentals & Purchase! Adam at Pedego Spring Lake is all about customer service and making sure you have a safe and memorable ride. I reserved a Pedego bike online to ride with my family and to test out riding an ebike and just be outside during this pandemic. Everything was clear in the online rental order on what you would need to do. When I arrived Adam greeted us, I checked in, showed my valid driver's license, signed the rental agreement, got a quick demo and was off and on my way! Wow are these bikes awesome - have never had so much fun riding and being in the beautiful town of Spring Lake was terrific! At the end of my rental I knew I needed to purchase a Pedego electric bike and talked with Adam about the options. He explained everything and spent time to figure out my needs and what ebike model would be the best for me. I was able to purchase a new City Commuter bike and it's INCREDIBLE! My bike was on order and Adam kept us updated with when it would arrive, scheduled time for me to come out and pick it up and walked me through everything I could possibly need to know to ride and maintain my bike. We had a great rental experience here in August 2022. Booking online was quick and easy. Unfortunately, our travel plans changed due to a family emergency but Adam (owner) was really cool about it and issued a prompt refund. When our plans resumed, we were very pleasantly surprised how much fun eBikes can be. First off, Adam personally spent time with us making sure we understand how to use the bikes, the safety features, and all that was necessary to have a fun experience. I reserved a Tandem Pedego bike the 3rd week of August for my family vacation in Seaside Park. Adam could not have been nicer and his communication was awesome, we have several of our older family members that have not been on a bike in years due to physical limitations who are so excited to enjoy bike riding again. This is the second time in a month we have rented electric bikes from Pedego in Spring Lake. They are so much fun!!! The first time we rode to Asbury and back (14 miles roundtrip) like it was nothing but still got great exercise. Yesterday was a shorter ride. Still had so much fun though! Love the pedal assist and throttle (if you need it); it makes it so easy to go long distances. More importantly, Adam and Tracy were super nice, explained everything to us and spent even more time with us after we returned the bikes to answer all of our questions about electric bikes. read more

Just experienced Pedego for the first time with my wife, what an experience! The owners are very friendly and welcoming, and are sure to give you a complete overview of the bike and how it works. We had never experienced an electric bike before, and we were blown away! You can use it as a bicycle or use the motor to go fast-it was MUCH faster than we expected and was very exciting to ride. We stumbled upon Pedego in Spring Lake after a leisurely brunch across the street at Ray's Cafe. What a wonderful surprise Pedego was! The moment we entered, the clean beach vibe engaged us, and the service was great; friendly, welcoming, not pushy and totally in keeping with our beach/brunch vibe. My daughter and I each rented a comfort cruiser and away we went! There's little to no learning curve, the speed is easily controlled and you can pedal if you'd like.
