Horrible customer service! I purchased a gift card at a charity auction benefiting children with cancer, when I called to book I was told that my gift card (showing no expiration date, see attached pictures) had expired. I asked if they could honor it in good faith and was told the best they could so was offer a 20% discount ($76 towards a $380 value). I feel as though both the charity and I have been short changed. Clearly the only winner in this situation is Pedal Party as they likely got a tax deduction for their so called charitable contribution. It's a shame Pedal Party couldn't make this right. Knowing the group I had scheduled to go, PP would have likely come out ahead in cash tips and free advertising on social media. **editing to add that Pedal Party BLAMED the charity organization for not communicating an expiration date that was not listed anywhere on that card. Also, PP likely received compensation through a charitable donation deduction. Furthermore, PP stated that this is not the first time it happens. Seriously people check out Houston Bike Bar or Pedal Saloon. **Adding to the pictures the portion of the email where the charity was blamed and PP stated that this has indeed happened before. Covering the charity's name to protect the innocent here.

Super fun activity to burn a couple hours with friends. It's really a guided bar crawl with a auto-path driver. Was super fun, and definitely recommend it. Get ready for your thighs to burn.

This was my 2nd time with Pedal Party celebrated my 25th birthday! We booked for a private party and had a blast. Our driver Nick was the best! He texted me prior to meeting up to ask what bars we wanted to hit up. Took us to some great bars and new what to recommend at each one. Best experience by far!

This pedal party was off da hook, yo! We had a birthday party on this delightful contraption of a vehicle down Washington. The rates are by the hour so check it out on their website. Although, it was 10am and blazing hot outside...we pedaled through the heat and had ourselves a great time. The pedal party holds about 18-20 people. It's BYOB and bring your own food. There's even a draft beer dispenser on there! So bring a beer keg of your heart's desire! (I recommend Saint Arnold's Lawnmower) I The only downside is for the shorties. The seat is high so its hard to reach the pedals for the petite people. They get to sit in the back while the others pedal. The captain was pretty bad ass ringing his bell to mush on as we slowed down and making it an entertaining and enjoyable experience. Car honking is a must! No obscenities please. Be prepared to have a sore tushy.

Pedal Party is a blast! It's like a trolley car, but the passengers are the engines - with their feet. A party on the go! Warp speed is about 5mph. 10 people pedal on the sides of the vehicle (plus two over the tires), three can sit on the bench in the back and one stand in the center, to make a total of 16 crew members. Pedal Party supplies the driver. Prices vary on the day of the week and length of time. Primo weekend night two-hour (minimum time) will be $25 per person with 16 people, but there are cheaper alternatives. They have prearranged tours downtown, midtown or Kemah. Also, you can make your own route. In Kemah (open containers allowed), you can have alcohol on the Pedal Party. UPDATE: Now you can have alcohol ON the PP in Houston also. You can not drink next to or leaning on the PP, you must actually be ON the vehicle. Tank up! Pedaling crew need to be 5'3" to reach the pedals (although closer to 5'5" to be comfortable). Owner Gene invited me to ride it around for a promo piece on the news. Even though we had no destination in mind and was with a bunch of strangers, we had a total blast. The looks from bystandards were priceless. Cars going by honked & waved and rolled down their windows to take pictures. Such a blast on a random weekday afternoon!

I had a Groupon for this ridiculous bicycle 'o booze and it shaped up to be a beautiful, sun-drenched, fun day with friends riding around Midtown. The driver kept asking us if we wanted to stop at any bars and we were kinda like... no, we'd rather keep riding around on this contraption. Which I guess surprised him. We did stop at a few bars for shots and snacks, but overall the appeal was staying on the bike. You can bring a keg, but unless you have the bike for all day, it is logistically simpler to bring a cooler with cans of beer. My parents joined us on the bike and my mom had the brilliant idea of making pretzel necklaces, the perfect beer accompaniment, for everyone -- way to be awesome, mom!

Loved it!! It was so much fun; all 16 of us had a great time riding around town, bar hopping, drinking, singing, and asking every passing car to honk! Audrey, our driver, was amazing!! She was super laid back, fun & funny, and extremely nice/helpful with quick bar suggestions since the ones we picked were closed. She even told us about $3 shot special! I would highly recommend her and pedal party to anyone!!

Our conductor Josh was AMAZING! He exceeded all expectations and really help our party be a success! I will definitely be booking again

The Pedal Party is great fun! We had a group of twelve (including one not able to pedal and one serving as a bar tender). We all had a blast. We worked with Gene at Pedal Party to map out a progressive dinner route. We selected the following stops: 1) Sawyer Park for a few drinks at sun set (great timing as the place was not crowed and drink specials kept our bar tab low); 2) Star Pizza for dinner (we ordered ahead and were prepared to eat on the Pedal Party Bus/Bike... but all was well and we ate inside); and, 3) Washington Grill... great stop we arranged ahead of time and had outdoor gazebo reserved. We had awesome desserts and a few drinks. Gene (our Captain) was fun and also very funny. Note: This is not a sporting/athletic activity. It is just plain fun. Yup, you pedal and move at about 2 - 5 mph. Have fun!

Absolutely! We also suggest bringing a few more cups than you think you’ll need in case one blows off. Reuseful cups like Yetis work well for wine too.

Driving up to the valet I get two option "Self park for $10 or valet for $15" says the guy. Well, the lot was empty for the most part so of course I am going to pay for the cheaper deal. As I park the guy runs over and tells me that I parked in the wrong spot and had to park at least three spaces over. Umm....There is no cone or signage for special parking or not. I guess he wanted me parked further away from the door? Red flag number one... The door guy just opens the door right up. There is next to nobody inside. Lets give them some credit (maybe) as it was around10:30 so possibly this places starts up later. I like the layout and the lighting. It was visibly a good club. I call the birthday girl and she says that they are running late. We all grab a drink and just wait around. The service is less that mediocre. We were the only ones there to at the very least we should get some kind of fast service? No, that was asking too much. They did however look appealing in a "this plastic surgery and/or heavy make up makes me look and feel uncomfortable" sorta way. The beer I get is pricey as an expletive...probably on the higher end expensive than all the other places on Washington I go. Red Flags 2 and 2.5.... My friend calls me and tells me she cant get in (she is with about 7 people). I am confused so i ask the door guy what is going on. - "they are not on the list"...he says.... - I reply, "but we go in OK whats the problem there isn't any one inside really" -"You gotta talk to the manager/promoter" I go and find the guy and explain to him that its my friends birthday and all that jazz...he says OK and goes outside to check it out. - He comes out saying "no, they aren't coming in here" - "was It a dress code thing?" (Ironically everyone was dressed well) - "..." Red Flag 3. I can read people with a pretty high level of accuracy. Dear Mr. Craptastic manager/promoter at least have the creativity to say they weren't on the list or that they had some kind of dress code issue. But, I can read on his face that he didn't want those of a Mexican or African American nature to be in your place....not that I m calling you a racist....or anything... Between the confusing valet, overpriced drinks (Even for Washington Ave), snooty servers, "racially selective" management.....yeah...I wish I can give this place no stars....

What could be a lively neighborhood spot instead feels like an exercise in exclusion--where the staff's indifference borders on performative, as though hospitality were an optional add-on rather than the foundation of the service industry. The ambiance aspires to trendy but lands somewhere closer to contrived, with an energy that feels curated for appearances rather than genuine enjoyment. Drinks are serviceable at best, though priced with the confidence of a far more polished establishment. One might overlook that if the experience itself compensated, but unfortunately, it does not. Ultimately, Pearl Bar seems less interested in cultivating a welcoming environment and more invested in projecting a selective image. I, for one, like Shotzkies. I was able to take an assortment of off-the-wall shots, line dance and even take a breathalyzer test (by choice!). But Diem Lounge isn't that bad, and is definitely more popular amongst the cool kids.
