So this is a good spot for indoor and outdoor vibe. The outdoor isn't that much but it's something. Now the outdoor part (when I was there) had food being served. As soon as you walk up the steps, it is going to smell good as hell! Nachos, jerk fries, things like that, made to order. There is a stage, there is a large bar (it has two sides to it), and some upstairs standing room to get off of the main floor. The music was good, everybody was pretty cool, even security was talking and chatting it up. It was a nice little vibe, except waiting in line to get in for as long as it took a comma I would recommend. The night that we went it was free before 11:00 or so, you got there a little before and as soon as we got to the front of line the guy cut off the free entry so that kind of sucked but that's not the end of the world. Tickets were free for the night before Thanksgiving. They had a bunch of Asian DJs lined up. It didn't get lit until after 1 AM. Even Johnny Dang made an appearance! Drink prices include tax and tip already, so it's easy peasy. Bartenders and bottle girls are nice. The venue is spacious, but you can't go up any of the stairs. They have bouncers and security at every corner literally. They have a man tending to the men's restroom, but the women's restroom is always empty. I love the mirror walls! Nicky Romero will be playing soon, so that will be something to look forward to! read more

This is a quaint little venue. They have probably the world's smallest parking lot and it's valet only. Which I will come back to. When you walk up the stairs the stage is immediately to the right and you have to walk down a very narrow area to the left to get towards the back of the place. Where the restrooms and the bar is. Now I've bitched about house of blues being expensive, but this place is way more expensive than them. Drinks were outrageous. Wouldn't give me just a cup of water etc. Whatever it's a business but just food for thought. Now back to their valet. I had to wait an additional half an hour because they misplaced my key. No one knew where it was. But that didn't stop them from getting other people's cars while I waited for them to half assed look in between moving other folks. Turned out they left it in my car. Which is weird, and a little disheartening. So the venue is okay for shows. Quaint and had great energy, but man I'd need someone to really talk me into coming back. read more

Top to bottom, terrible venue. Major downgrade for Warehouse Live. The venue is built like a hallway. Granted, some of my issues are with the promoter of my chosen concert but the atmosphere is cramped, uncomfortable, and poorly designed. Why is the stage immediately to my right walking in, creating gridlock? After fighting your way to the back, you fight to hold your position in the crowd. There's nowhere to move and have a good view of the stage. Parking is also very not good. Nothing about this venue for concerts makes sense and I pray to God I never have to return. read more

1st time visiting Rise Rooftop for a birthday celebration. Nice venue with great concerts coming up. Max Rios and the Waysiders and the Latín Image opened up for Grupo Negami. Very nice old school bands. Max Rios plays something different from other bands. First time listening to live English songs with an accordion. Latin Image rocked it. Nagami was awesome! Thank you for the birthday tickets won at their last concert in North Shore. Had a great time, would recommend if you don't mind standing or paying $175 for a table of 4 and $20 valet parking. Good tacos sold outside. Lots of bouncers and undercover cops working but everyone behaved. Only 3 stars because there are no free tables or chairs to sit on, not even outside on the patio. read more

!!TLDR; Those in need of disability accommodations need to be very aware of their limits to see if this venue is suitable for you!! Extremely mixed opinions on this venue, its layout, and the staff. This show was a bit of an oddball since the venue switched to RISE the day before the show. With that considered, RISE's staff worked extremely quickly and efficiently to accommodate disability needs. However, the layout of the building seemed to attempt to negate their willingness to accommodate. Their disability entrance is questionably accessible, the elevator worked like a charm and seemed just fine. However, the ramp itself was really steep and definitely initially intended for band equipment but works on the side as a quick fix for accessibility in most instances. And by "really steep" it had to be probably about a 35° degree angle if I had to estimate. I, personally, am a fulltime motorized wheelchair user so the angle was certainly a concern. My saving grace, however, was the extremely kind security guard who escorted us both into and out of the venue. He stood behind the wheelchair on both the way up and down, helping push it so it would make it up as well as not tip backward on the way down. Midway through the show, he even threw out some Otter Pops because it was really warm. I never caught your name but you, my sir, are a savior and you are doing absolutely wonderful at your job. Thank you! Side note: He vaguely mentioned that they were looking to better their accessibility, however, I don't know the method they're going about it or when it will be started/completed. Once you get inside and settled, you're put in the "ADA section" which is essentially a 3ish by 6ish foot area blocked off by some stanchions. Unlike your standard accessible section, it is NOT elevated, so likely chance if you're a wheelchair user you will not be able to see. There were seven of us total in that itty bitty corner, there was no chance that if all of us needed to be sitting that seven chairs could fit in that area. Not to mention, it was a sold out show so the stanchions were being pushed and it was definitely a push to hold our ground and not get pushed closer to the wall by the crowd. The security guard(s) stationed by the door (not the guy mentioned earlier) were disappointingly lackluster. The first one attempted to keep people from pushing against the stanchions throughout the first opener, but gave up shortly after. I understand it's a sold out show, but this is your section for a vulnerable population you said you'd be able to accommodate. To conclude, if you need any sort of accommodations, please be extremely aware of what you're going into. I happened to have luck in finding a really great staff member who helped me feel much more safe, but even then, the seating was extremely cramped and I had people pressed against me from the other side of the stanchion and got my fair share of nasty looks from strangers who I asked nicely if they could move. read more

I cannot praise this place enough. Came here Sunday afternoon to see bunch of metal cover bands. I wasn't expecting too much to be honest, however, the tickets were free..... just sign up and download from the Rise Rooftop website. Well, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised, the bands were extremely entertaining and played with passion..... I enjoyed watching them more than some of the big named bands I have seen play recently. Rise Rooftop is a fantastic venue, when it gets dark outside and the light show kicks in. The venue was not that packed, but it was a great atmosphere full of people passionate about music. I have read some negative comments on here about the staff, but my experience was only positive... bar staff and security very friendly. There are small VIP areas with tables which I believe have waitress service which are expensive too book in advance ($100), however, for everyone else drinks are extremely reasonably priced and there are signs up saying that gratuity is included in price. I think the venue frequently has free events on Sunday afternoons. I would urge people to check this place out and support live music. read more

The rooftop is Never open! Trust me. I've lived across the street for 6 years and have seen it open once. What a waste of money

Bar service was okay. Bathrooms were disgusting. I get it's a club but there was vomit on the floor outside of the bathroom and there was liquid on the floor in both of the stalls I used during my visit. Bouncers were super rude. My husband is disabled and was sitting on a metal fold up chair in the corner, a bouncer came up to him and took the chair from him just to fold it up and set it against the wall next to him. I cannot express how inappropriate and pointless this was. He wasn't bothering anyone, just sitting to alleviate the pain he was in. We left immediately after. I will never revisit this establishment, and will be advising my friends and colleagues not to visit. read more

I really really love this place!!! It's a great venue for edm shows especially, so as an EDM fan I've already visited 4 times and they were all fantastic experiences. I like that there is a unisex staff and they have all treated me above my typical standards for a club staff. I was here last Friday 7/30 and the place was packed. I honestly didn't like the way the club it's set up, no dancing "area" no cocktail tables nor chairs. I tried to get a table but they wanted to charge $1000. Service was bad, also be prepared because it charges you a 20% gratuity automatically on every purchase. Make sure you are able to test your limits at this place. I went with a friend a couple weeks ago to see a concert. Certain staff are great with one man being my friend and my favorite. Drinks are served but I didn't get any. People near me did however and said it was good. Acoustics are kinda bad with parts of the music being very loud, but that could also be the band. Bathrooms are very small and make it hard to have people walk behind you while you wash your hands. Just make sure you are prepared to get out of your comfort zone a little. read more

Worst live music experience I've ever seen or heard in my life. I've gone to hundreds of metal shows and this was by far the worst live sound engineering I've ever heard. All you could hear in the mix were drums when you got anywhere near the stage. You need to be able to hear the guitars at a black metal show, especially Dark Funeral. To add to that, I don't know what's going on with the lights here. They basically blind the audience so you can't even see the stage. I was wishing I brought my sunglasses the whole time. Stick with techno music because you're butchering metal shows. I won't ever be back even if my absolute favorite band plays here. Just cancel the show and give out refunds if Warehouse Live can't do it. They know how to mix metal over there. read more

We had a blast last night for CID. We went there early to grab drinks, no line and street parking was so easy to find. Everyone we encountered were really nice, the venue was spacious, layout was pretty cool and bartenders were nice. Drinks aren't expensive at all actually, it's the same price when you go to a bar or so. I was mainly concerned about the heat inside based on the reviews - however we didn't feel hot at all, the a/c or fan was turned to the highest, it was cool and nice. I liked how there were areas to sit behind the bar and the bathroom lines aren't too long. The selfie mirror in front of the bathroom is pretty cute too. Overall I will be back! read more

Saw TUSK last night at Rise Rooftop. This is a very cool place. There were very friendly Valet employees who had a send of play, which is always a plus. There was security (2 officers plus 2 staff) at the front door and they took our temperature. Check out their Steps! I won't spoil the experience but what a cool idea!! It says that your adventure starts NOW!! Great statement!! Staff was wonderful, friendly and a lot of fun! The staff is on the ball as they were constantly cleaning and making sure everything was clean. The sound for Tusk was great although Black Rose was super loud we couldn't hear any of the words to the songs. It is a big venue. The drinks were reasonably priced. The Valet Parking was horrible, Went to the KES event on 09/30/2023 and was charged 60.00 cash to valet park. Totally gouged us. It was more than the ticket to the event cost. Was informed by other event goer that they were charged 80.00. Absolutely ridiculous. read more
