Sally was extremely accommodating, professional and friendly. When I hadn't showed up 5 minutes into our appointment, she reached out with a very personalized text message to make sure I was not lost. Their studio had moved about two blocks down the street, but I still had the wrong address (completely on me). She made sure I knew how to get to the new location and even which side of the building to park on. Even though we started late, she was still able to perform my full one hour massage. I was extremely relaxed the entire time. The music was gorgeous and had me picturing beautiful nature scenes. I had to fight the urge to fall asleep a few times. I left feeling calm and serene. I felt more limber. The back and hip pain I had before going was gone. I would absolutely go back. If you are looking for a less commercial spa feel and more of a crystals, chakra, warm vibe, this is a great place for you. The parking is ample as well, but is metro accessible too.

Once you're in the door, they still follow strict hygienic guidelines in order to prevent the spread of illnesses, but with enough positive energy to get you into a relaxed mood. Sarah was amazing and really helped make my first time here an awesome one. They made it a safe space for me to feel comfortable enough to ask any questions and concerns. Throughout the massage, Sarah would check in with me to ensure that everything was to my liking. To summarize, this place "Shined" despite the rainy weather... Sorry, I kind of had to do the pun.

I had the pleasure for the first time in participating in the Studio Chique experience. I have been…read morea 9 plus year customer at Robert Andrews . I came across Studio Chique browsing on IG . I saw the owner offering more than hair services to her clients . It's one thing to offer talent , but when your customer service and natural love for people is added it's an experience that anyone would pay for . My massage specialist Tia was excellent, very intentional and awesome personality. I will be booking her once a month now . Her respect for the owner and how she runs her business speaks volume. I shared with her that it was the owner that made me book the appointment. As an entrepreneur myself I know what it takes to run a successful business and it's not always easy . It takes prayer, God guidance and a team that share your vision . I'm thankful for Studio Chique being a wellness place to women and men to be poured into not just in beauty but also in spirit . Thank you for ministering and giving me confirmation to what God is spreading showing my husband and I . If you looking for a spa with great customer service . great atmosphere, excellent staff, black owned and a believer. I urge you to book your appointment , you definitely won't regret it . Thank you again to the staff @ Studio Chique you ladies rock , see you again soon .

Also, it's paid street parking. Unfortunately, my experience with my stylist, Whitney, was extremely disappointing. From the start, she was unwelcoming and came across as rude. During my appointment, she repeatedly spoke loudly over me to other stylists, which felt dismissive and unprofessional. There was little effort to make me feel comfortable or valued as a client. What stood out most was her demeanor throughout the service. Her tone and communication regarding my hair process and results were not only unhelpful, but also came across as condescending. A salon experience should feel relaxing and collaborative, this was the opposite. Based on my experience, I would not recommend booking with her, unless you're in the mood to want to get physically aggressive. While the salon has a great look, the service I received did not match the standard I expected.

They were so friendly and celebrated my birthday upon walk in Facility- clean and the decor of choice created an immediate relaxing vibes. My massage therapist was Sogbe (hope I spelled it correctly) and boy was she EXCELLENT! She understood my medical needs and took her time to provide great services. I cannot wait to visit again!!!! It's a oasis on 14 street

I booked the appointment online and put down the necessary deposit. They were running a special for the month of January- 10% off during weekdays and it included aromatherapy. The 10% off did not automatically apply and I'm pretty sure I didn't get the discount. Parking- street parking if available. We lucked up and got a spot right in front of the spa. No paying a meter was required. My massage therapist was Mike and my husband's massage therapist was Kimberly. The couple's room was tight so I could feel, see and hear every time my husband's therapist talked to him or when she moved. My husband felt that Kimberly just couldn't get the pressure right even though she asked. He also felt like she took a break after every touch so there was awkwardly long waiting periods. He said her touch was often too soft even though he told her the pressure wasn't enough. She was pleasant; notwithstanding, she just wasn't the right therapist for him. Mike also asked me once about the pressure and at the time, it was okay. As the massage went on, it became uncomfortable. In all fairness, I should've spoken up. The elbow and forearm down the back and around the shoulders was the most painful. We got the massages on Monday morning and I'm still in pain on Wednesday. This is the first time I've asked for a male massage therapist and boy could I tell the difference. The pressure alone was intense. The best part was the scalp rub and the lavender scent (although there was something mid-massage that smelled like mildew). When asked what areas of focus before starting, I mentioned that I wanted my mid-back and arms focused on because I have carpal tunnel. Those areas weren't paid any special attention--they were simply apart of the regularly scheduled program - upper left, then upper right, then lower left, the lower right, then flip and repeat and end with scalp. This was the process for both my husband and I though he was flipped front a lot sooner than I was. Overall, I wouldn't mind returning if I'm in the area and trying another therapist.

When I called they were accommodating and scheduled appointments for us. When we got there we completed forms on a tablet that also asked where we did not want to be touched. The actual massage itself was fine, however my feet didn't get touched at all and I didn't specify on the form not to touch my feet. So that was a disappointment. The pressure was okay despite requesting more pressure. The overall massage was fine but I've had better. All of the staff were nice, so there's no complaints there. They do try to upsell you on a membership but they fortunately don't press too hard. This helped with an overall relaxing day!

Called to schedule an appointment, couldn't do it online or on the phone because of their system, so I literally had to go there to schedule it. The day of my appointment; there was no evidence that I had made an appointment. Tired and frustrated, I didn't get any type of apologies or kindness from the piss poor staff and manager there. They admitted to making the mistake, and had no remorse. No one there gave a CRAP!!! One of the WORST massage experiences. I had to leave frustrated, sore, and so disrespected. I made an appointment at the Laurel spa, and had a better experience there. Overall, I really don't think ME quality and prices can compete with the other massage spas I've been to before. I've gotten too many AMAZING massages at other places to settle for ME anymore. Never again.
