New balls, ball trackers, replaced some of the older mats, etc. They're currently building a facility to serve food and drinks. Bathrooms are reasonably clean. There's a fantastic golf shop attached and service is amazing. Cons: Without fail there are a handful of dysfunctional or out of order bays. The Trackman golf sensors often misread or miss a shot and there's no way to fix it. Bays and screens look like they've never been cleaned (tons of dust). I'm not too crazy about the table and chairs. I find the stool chairs (over the lower metal ones) to be very uncomfortable and tables just collect dirt (more things that should be cleaned). Overall I highly recommend this place, they just have a few things to work on.

I had not played at Tres Rios in probably 6-7 years. I had heard that it had been purchased and had…read moregone through major renovation and that they were even planning on building another 18 hole course on the south east side of the property. I was more than happy at what I found at Tres Rios. First a new club house with pro shop and future restaurant, clean open with lots of windows. At check in the young man was friendly and welcoming. The carts were fairly new. I remember the last time I was there it was a very worn golf course that was in need of quite a bit of TLC. While the entire land area is relatively flat there are a lot of trees which add to the beauty of the course as well as adding danger to wayward shots. I was very please at the condition of the course. It was basically green with some limited areas of bare ground, but nothing like before. The fairways were in good shape, with a mostly complete cover of grass that was a nice surface to play off of. The greens were in very good shape with a good covering of grass and they ran fast and true. Because the topography is basically flat the course tends to go back and forth and down the bordering perimeters. It is not a challenging course in terms of up/down or unusual shaped green complexes, but the amount of trees on the property adds a dimension that lots of desert courses lack. I enjoyed my round at Tres Rios, I encourage others to give it a try and I surely will return and put it on my regular golf rotation for play.

Beautiful Resort with Truly Exceptional Service!…read more The Wigwam was such a wonderful experience! The resort itself is absolutely beautiful -- gorgeous Southwestern architecture and landscaping, spacious accommodations, and everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained. But what really made my stay memorable was the people. The service from beginning to end was outstanding. My experience started with an easy check-in and a wonderful surprise -- a complimentary room upgrade! I also had a Tesla that needed charging, and the valet team immediately moved it to the front of the line and took care of it for me. That level of attentiveness continued throughout my entire stay. I loved spending time at the adults-only Oasis Pool, and one of my favorite resort amenities was the golf-cart transportation around the property. Staff will pick you up and take you wherever you'd like to go, which is especially appreciated during the Arizona summer heat! The highlight of my stay was definitely the Summer Sampler at LeMonds Aveda Salon & Spa. It included a wonderful massage and facial, time relaxing by the beautiful spa pool, a delicious fresh salad for lunch, and a wash and style to finish the day. Everyone at the spa was incredibly kind and attentive. Pauline did my hair and was exceptionally sweet -- the perfect ending to such a relaxing day. I also had a great experience at the Wigwam Bar. Amber was a fabulous bartender and server, and Gabriel, the manager, was exceptional. They were happy to accommodate my low-carb request and substitute fresh vegetables for the rice, which was very much appreciated. There are plenty of beautiful resorts, but it's the hospitality that can make a stay truly memorable, and The Wigwam absolutely delivered. Everyone I encountered made me feel welcome and well cared for. I would absolutely return and highly recommend The Wigwam for a relaxing Arizona getaway!

We had a great time there. We signed up for a summer special and asked for a early check-in at 1…read morePM. We got an email at 10 AM saying our room was already ready. What a great start. We had an Oasis suite and it was spacious and it looked newly renovated. The bathroom had both a tub and a walkin shower and we had a first floor room so we could walk directly to the adult pool. We went swimming every afternoon we were there and other than one person for 10 minutes, we were the only ones swimming. One nice thing is that they provide pool noodles so we could float to our hearts content. From the time we checked in, every person on their staff was helpful and friendly. We found when we checked in that the valets offered a free shuttle throughout the resort. So one night we went to the golf course and took a shuttle there. Since it was 112° it was a great alternative to driving or walking. If we had one quibble, the exterior of the resort, could've used an update. For example, the adult soft water pool surround was cracked in many places. I guess trying to grow grass in Phoenix in the middle of summer is difficult, but it made the common areas look unkempt. But overall, we loved everything else about the resort and would highly recommend staying here.

I was bummed they did not have any breakfast sandwiches before my round as the restaurant was closed. So I waited to order when I got the the 9th tee. I ordered the club sandwich and it was delicious. I really liked the options you had as a side. I got the Cole slaw which was pretty dog gone good. It was especially nice they gave us some chocolate chip cookies too. Mike the Marshall delivered the sandwiches to us when we were on like the 12th hole. Overall this place is a great place to hit the golf course. People there were super friendly. I cannot wait to go back!!!

Played Los Caballeros Golf Club in Wickenburg, Arizona today July 16, 2024…read more It was crazy hot today, 85°F to 105°F. A few fairways were behind punched but didn't negatively affect play. Greens were in great shape, bunkers consistent, and overall I would say conditions were great for being the middle of Summer here in Arizona. Green fees were right @ $50/pp which included range balls. Peppy carts, nice center console in the cart, big and deep coolers, four bottles of water, towels, USB port, deep basket, but no course GPS. When we parked they brought a cart out to us so we didn't have to use the bag drop. When we were finished, we were able to bring the carts out to the parking lot. Great staff, friendly and accommodating.

While playing the first 9 holes, the morning course marshall, harassed us three times, telling us we played to slow, made us skip a hole, cussed at us repeatedly and made the golfing experience miserable. the course lacked a drink cart, in 95 degree AZ heat. We told the pro shop about the incredably inappropriate and unprofessional behavior of the marshall and they could care less. DO NOT PLAY THIS COURSE! There are plenty of other course that cost less, offer more and have better play environment. Do not believe the positive ratings, there are probably provided by members or owners. This place sucks!

We saw the teepee on the blue course and got to see the wigwam in its late night hours all lit up. It was an amazing ride around the resort.
