I came in for dental cleaning that required deep cleaning was quoted $1200 but only $168 with my insurance. I was supposed to come in 4 total times. On appointment 4/4 I was pulled to the side and said they don't accept my insurance and now my bill was going to be $722. I said absolutely not, after 3 visits you now tell me you don't accept it? After I signed an estimate and came in 3 times? You had 3 visits to correct this issue. Seems shady and like a slide of hand. I requested a manager to call me and never received a phone call, I called 3-4 times and never got a phone call back, so I was hoping they figured it out and made the adjustments. 3 months later I get a bill in the mail on 9/26 dated 9/10 saying I was being sent to collections. I went in on Monday 9/28 and was told the manager isn't here today. Went in again on 9/29 and again manager was not willing to speak with me, and now my bill was adjusted to $566. I paid the bill strictly because I don't want anything sent to collections. Avoid this shady practice with piss poor management. You can see why they have 2 stars.

I hate dental procedures and was pretty nervous so he did his best to kind of just chat me up and relax me while he worked on me. So interesting tidbit: I was telling him I'm on Yelp and he told me that he had several other patients who had told him they reviewed him but the reviews just wouldn't stay posted? For a treatment that cost $6,000, I expected to receive professional and consistent care. What was especially frustrating was feeling like I was not being treated by the level of professional I expected for this type of cosmetic dental work. At times, different dental assistants were involved in the process, and I felt that a dentist was only brought in when problems had already developed. The way I was treated toward the end also made me feel like they did not even want me there. Eventually, I had to go to another dental office to have my situation evaluated. After my thorough research, deep into the night, I left several messages to the dentist offices in the area pleading to take me in if they had an opening. This was now Friday morning and the thought of remaining looking like this even past weekend - was frightening. So, next thing that happened - I will never forget. At around 8:30 am - Dr. Liu himself calls me back and I could hear in his voice he nearly felt as bad as I did for what happened. He was absolutely booked solid and his official hours that day were scheduled to end at noon. He considered the options and the best we could come up with is the appointment on Monday. He did give me a glimpse of hope by saying - "I will let you know if I get any time to maybe just examine you". Well, less than an hour later I get a phone call from Dr. Liu - "Ok, I have a little time - just come in, so I can examine and see what is happening". Fast forward several hours - Dr. Liu not only saw me for x-rays, he and his amazing assistant Lesley, arranged for me to stay after hours!! Dr. Liu fixed my chipped front tooth with such perfection, incredible attention to details that, frankly was astonishing. Dr. Liu is sincerely the most compassionate doctor I have ever met. He really strives to address the root of the problem in addition to paying meticulous attention to details. And the price he charged me for this service - was more than fair!
