this place is really the best! they have gotten out old stains and oil stains, and all with such nice and friendly service and they have a never-full parking lot so i can be in and out in 2 seconds. Yes they charge more than $2.95 for dresses and coats but they still charge WAY LESS than any other dry cleaner in Arlington. read more

Quality, Speed and Affordable. These guys do good work at a great price and have always been able to accommodate my schedule. Excellent place. Even though I moved to the West End I still come out here for my dry cleaning. read more

"ANY GARMENT $2.75" - Except for dresses and coats, of course. Two very large signs advertise the "any garment" bait-and-switch. So bad that I'm making a yelp review for the first time. Worst service and dishonest. Do not take anything of value to be cleaned here. They put a whole in the front of my expensive jacket. When i complained they offered nothing and claimed it was already there, which is ridiculous since i checked the jacket beforehand and it was in pristine condition. Not to mention, the hole is in the front and noticeable. read more

Favorite spot in Arlington ! Great service been going here for years good prices for any garments $2.75

Even with price changes service is still the same. Very great service and willing to what they can to help. Great tailor as well. Had a dress that needed to get a lot of work done in a short period of time. Did an amazing job and on time. read more

Pearl's Custom Cleaners - Laundry Services Near Me - Arlington, Virginia

See all

The Owner refused to give a customer her money back for a white gown that they damaged when cleaning. He was rude and got into a shouting match with the customer, and then tried to take the dress back from the customer. The customer said she paid $11 and he said he would give her $5. She was very upset and the owner was not even willing to resolve the issue. This isno way to do business. read more

I took my clothes here last week and have tried to pick it up but they are always closed. I have tried to call and they don't answer. If they have closed down they have all my clothes. I will be contacting a lawyer if I do not hear back by next week. read more

My dry cleaner for many years. A little expensive, but I like they way my wool trousers and sweaters come out. Have no complaints about how my trousers come out, always very nice. Sweaters are fine also but sometimes have a touch of scent which I don't need, but not offensive. It airs out anyway. I occasionally use Pearl for shirts, haven't had problems but I prefer the job I do at home. Most of the time they will do free repairs (buttons, zips) which is a plus. read more

This place was recommended and raved about. I dropped off a wool coat, two wool skirts, and a sweater dress. Items were returned with cat hair and fuzz still on them, a spot on the dress, and the items were not pressed. Not impressed and will not be returning. read more

Awesome cleaners and super friendly staff. I have only used them two times so far, but have been very please with their prices and the result. They also have a special on Tuesday. If you drop off a minimum of 5 things on Tuesday, you get 30% off. Also, this is an organic cleaners. They currently have my wedding dress so we will see how that goes. read more

No matter how hard the task, Pearl's is up to the job. They also take my reusable dry cleaning bag without giving me the stank eye. God bless! read more

Definitely not 2.75 per garment... For example knee length women's dresses-cotton are $5.50 but that's also the same charge as a ball gown. Makes no sense. read more

Pearl's cleaners is the least poorest quality cleaners I have even been to in the Washington, DC area. They dont clean the shirts. All my dress shirts (19) have railroad tracks on the shirt selves. They didn't take the time to match up the lines on the selves. I know this seems picky but with all things considered. I had to give them 5 shirts to re-do because their machine left imprints on the shirts (little black stains). After coming home looking through my other shirts I need 3-4 more redone as well. When starching my shirts they left starch marks on all shirt. I would not recommend this cleaner to anyone. Pay the higher price for a better quality cleaner. This was my first and will be my last visit to this cleaner. Next time I will pay the higher prices for quality work... read more

Pearl's does a good job with stains. They offer organic cleaning and offer a weekly deal one day a week although I can't recall the details. Only complaints are that it is a little pricey and they fixed a bad zipper for me but it soon failed. However, it may have just been inevitable due to poor construction of the skirt. read more

Great price for our everyday dry cleaning and laundry ( men's and women's suits and shirts). Courteous and open at convenient times.

I've been taking my husbands work shirts and suits here for a couple of years. They are so friendly and have great prices compared to other cleaners in the area. They are polite and many times carry the clean clothes out to my car for me. Plus, they can have it done for you next day if you need it. Keep in mind they only accept credit cards for over $10 payment I believe. read more

We started using Pearls a couple of years ago when prices got expensive elsewhere. Very happy with services, friendliness, location, and prices! read more

These folks are as friendly as can be and - more importantly - successfully got several red wine spots out of my light grey wool sport coat. Reasonable prices and quick turnaround. What more can you ask for? read more

By far the worst cleaner I've tried in the DC area. I took just shy of two dozen men's dress shirts. 4 had black iron marks that won't come out. They said it was my husband's belt - sorry, the belt doesn't rub the shirt there. 1 was missing a button. 12 have railroad creases down the sleeves from them not taking the time to line up the creases before pressing the shirts. White starch spots are all over the shirts. Every shirt has at least one area where the fabric was bunched together and then pressed. Once hung, the shirts were not buttoned so by the time I got them home they had already wrinkled. And the best part - I came home with another customer's shirt - a woman's dress shirt. We complained about this absolutely unacceptable service and asked for a refund for the shirts that we have to take to have redone elsewhere, but they refused. read more

I have been going to this cleaners for at least fifteen years. Now I am concentrating on finding me another cleaners. I took a ball gown to be hemmed and the proprietor charged me $65.00. Seven days I took a two piece pants suit for the waistline to be taken in, and for the jacket to have some darts put it to fit better (it was too big). This time he charged me $60.00. I was shocked!!! I could have bought a new pants suit on sale for that amount. Regrettably I paid for the services. There is no price chart, the word service is misspelled "cervise" and I have just had enough. Merchants are quoting prices off of the top of their heads, without thinking about the customers. I truly don't mind paying for quality work, but this is ridiculous. They have a misleading sign outside that says any garment $2.75, but when you go in, it's not true; dresses whether knee length or longer are more; suits are more, and so are coats - that's false advertisement. Merchants are no longer loyal to their loyal customers, no wonder customers keep searching. read more
