Came here for multiple bridesmaid dress cleanings and they are lovely! Able to get out any stains and the turnaround is really quick!

Was having a tough time finding a new dry cleaner loving from Alexandria to Arlington. Was seeing horrific reviews about shrunken cashmere and I just couldn't handle that so I did my research and came across Eco cleaners. First visit felt like I brought my whole closet and the 2 ladies that were working were a delight! Meet the woman who does alterations so that was nice as I'm short and always needing alterations! It's slightly more expensive but with how much I spend on my clothes definitely worth its weight in gold! Won't be taking my business else where! read more

Very disappointing experience. I've been a customer since 2013 and have always tried to support this neighborhood business. Unfortunately, they shrank my linen curtains and declined to take responsibility. I would have appreciated accountability and a willingness to find a solution. This was not the level of service I expected. Worse, they were deeply rude. read more

Ridiculous pricing to hem a pair of casual pants. I went down the road and paid $10 less.

Big thanks to Lynn for some last minute alterations. I got a lot of compliments on my suit. I can see why Eco Cleaners is so in demand! 多謝妳！

Its so hard to find a place I can trust with Desi clothes given how much delicate embellishment and embroidery is on them. While I wouldn't call this place cheap or a bargain, I trust them with clothes, especially things that are delicate. I have also done some hemming (on pants, it was $23 to just make them shorter) and it was very well done (again not cheap, but well done). read more

Hands down the best dry cleaner in NOVA! The staff is super friendly with a quick turnaround. They also offer affordable alterations. We've had them repair several seams and some minor tears - everything looks better than new. Would highly recommend! read more

Just purchased terrific 2-layer masks (with slot for filter) at Eco Cleaners! All masks are made at the store, have a molded nose piece, and are reversible. 3 sizes available. So wonderful to support a local business! 4505 Lee Hwy, Arlington. (703) 247-5488 read more

Eco Cleaners - Masks - Sewing & Alterations Near Me - Arlington, Virginia

Update: Eco Cleaners is STILL the best in the area, and has still never lost a shirt or fried a button. Lynn and her family are still the nicest people. As a bonus, she makes quality and stylish Face masks for Covid times. read more

I love this dry cleaner and Lynn is wonderful. I recently took 15 items of clothing stained with mud from a flood. All items came back incredibly clean! I highly recommend Eco Cleaners! read more

I bought a gown last minute for my brother's wedding and Lynn did an amazing job on a time crunch! She is knowledgeable, highly skilled, and listens to her clients. She is a gem of a person and a terrific seamstress-- I plan on using her for all of my tailoring needs while I'm in the DC area! read more

This post is dedicated to my friend, "M", whose mother is terminally ill with cancer. Her mother's illness is connected to exposure to perchloroethylene, a volatile organic compound, which was used by the dry cleaner that she was formerly employed with. I originally dropped my clothes off out of convenience, but it's been an educational journey since that time. The owner is a lovely; the moment I walked in, I felt like she was an old friend. I really expected the clothes to be more expensive. For 10 men's shirts dropped off on late Saturday, I paid $17.50 on Wednesday morning. No chemicals, no fuss and my shirts were retrieved with a warm smile. Here's a little 411 I've picked up since last Saturday: 85% of dry cleaners use this volatile chemical, "Perch", which is a probable carcinogen linked to liver and kidney damage from prolonged contact. Contact with this chemical can cause the following symptoms: Headaches Drowsiness Nausea Skin/Respiratory Irritation Who's at risk? Dry cleaning employees The consumer Nursing mothers and their babies Technically anyone can come into contact with this chemical because the air, water and soil can become contaminated when dry cleaners go through their disposal process. It's good to know that we have options when it comes to these sorts of things. Dress well. Be Well. read more

I've been going here since 2016 and there's no place better than Eco Cleaners! I would not recommend any other establishment.

Great work, but expensive. For a dress that cost me $70, I ended up paying about $96 in alterations (that includes dry cleaning). It needed hemming (two layers) but no other alterations. The owner is so so nice so I think it's still worth it to go, but I wish prices were clearly posted somewhere. read more

My clothes don't smell!! I've been getting my clothes dry cleaned for awhile now and I'm not embarrassed to say that I typically look for the lowest cost per shirt that I can find. What I started noticing however is that I was dreading getting my clothes back because of the heavy stink and odor of chemicals that lingered. This was especially apparent when I would put the clothes on. So began my search for a place that used environmentally friendly chemicals. After a quick search on here I found Eco Cleaners. Only a few reviews but generally positive. My impressions so far? Great! The staff are super friendly and the first time I got my clothes back, I took a big sniff, and Nothing! I will be back! Prices are reasonable (though I'm a guy and somehow thing that the opinion may change for members of the opposite sex...) Couple of other notes, Eco Cleaners is located in kind of a random spot next to a 7-11. Nice thing is that Starbucks is across the street making the morning dry cleaning trip even more productive. One thing I noticed from the reviews (for this place as well as others) was that clothes were generally not as clean as some people wanted. As with any other cleaning agent, I generally believe that the worse they are for you and the environment, the better they are at cleaning. Thus if you have something with bad stains, suck it up and go to a regular dry cleaner. For you normal items, I think you are going to love this place! read more

Eco Cleaners is the absolute best! Prompt service at reasonable prices and they are some of the friendliest people I have ever met. They always greet me by name when I walk in the door, and are so wonderfully nice. I can't recommend them enough! read more

Come here if you need any alterations especially prom dresses. They did a great job in a very short time!

I've been using them for 11 years. Always professional and reliable. Please support this family-owned business. They are hard-working and lovely people who go out of their way to accommodate. read more

Best cleaners in the area! Reasonably priced, top notch quality, and love that they don't use toxic chemicals. I have been taking my family's clothes here for a few years now and have never had a single issue, not 1 lost or ruined garment. I have also taken clothing to be altered here by Lynn and she does a wonderful job every time. read more

I never write reviews, but with the pandemic taking out local businesses, I wanted everyone to know how wonderful Eco Cleaners is and how much of a value you get for your money. My wife and I argue about who found this gem and how long we've been going there, and while she's adamant that she found them, we agreed we've been using them for over six years. There's something magical about a local business where the owners know your name when you walk in, ask about your family and contribute to the community (they sold COVID masks and gave the money to support our medical workers). They are reasonably priced, care about their work product and the customer's satisfaction. Their establishment is clean and always orderly (and they have the fastest credit card machine I have ever used). We use them for all of our dry cleaning and alternation needs. We've even used them to clean blankets and down comforters before we put them away for the season. You won't go wrong using them and you won't be disappointed. Trust me, I've tried just dozens of dry cleaners in the DMV over the past 34 years and Eco Cleaners is the best. read more

I have never had a bad experience with this cleaner, and I have been using them for years. The people are lovely, they do a great job and the pricing is reasonable. I highly recommend them. read more

Best dry cleaners ever and the seamstress there is AMAZING! I had a dress taken in for a wedding. Little did I know that there were no seams and she would have to take out the back zipper to take in the dress. I wasn't able to pick up the dress until the day of the wedding. I was a little nervous since I didn't have time to try it on prior but the dress fit perfectly. I had so many compliments at the wedding I attended. I've since brought more gowns and work pants to her. I totally recommend the seamstress there. read more

The people here are so nice! The prices seem fair and a little lower than what you'll find right by the metro in Arlington. Their service is fast, and they use organic methods, so they win my vote. They also offer minor alteration and sewing services for a fair price. My only complaint is the tiny parking lot, which always seems full when I go there. Credit cards permitted only for purchases over $10. read more

I bought a new, quite expensive, tuxedo shirt, and was looking forward to wearing tonight for the first time. I decided to try this place to have it professionally cleaned and pressed. Big mistake. When I went to pick it up yesterday it was still slightly damp and very poorly pressed. I don't know what they did, but the pleats now look like ruffles, and now I have to spend my afternoon trying to fix it because no other cleaner can redo it in time. read more

This is a great establishment that provides thorough work and excellent customer service. I took in a stained silk blouse that was diagnosed to be uncleanable by my usual dry cleaner in Merrifield, and Eco Cleaners was able to render it completely clean like brand-new. I also took in a vintage Diane von Furstenburg silk dress, and they ran the dress through the dry-clean twice because they found a small stain that appeared after the first wash. Another huge plus -- prices were extremely reasonable (cheaper than other area dry cleaners in Fairfax/Vienna). Definitely coming back to them again for next time. read more

My clothes didn't smell [like chemicals]! Why? Because they smelled like sweat. They smelled like sweat because they weren't cleaned. I sent in 12 items. 3 dresses, 2 pants, 1 blazer, 6 blouses. For $75 worth of dry cleaning ($5 was the cost of a single blouse), I returned home with 12 articles of clothing that were worn threadbare, 1 blouse that was ripped, 1 that had white powder on it, 1 that wasn't cleaned, and 5 that still had stains. The price was outrageous, the quality of work was unacceptable. The positive reviews on this site falsely led me to believe this was a decent establishment. Don't be fooled like I was and save your $75 for some new clothes instead of tossing it into this dump of a place. Thanks, Arlington Eco "Cleaners". read more

I got a shirt fitted here. It was quick and easy. 20 bucks for stomach area. Don't know if that expensive or not. I'm from Tampa and that average or cheaper. But the nice thing is that the lady that does the measuring was there! In Tampa, it seem like I had to make an appointment. Also, I'm a little bigger, but like my clothes a little tighter, and the lady understood perfectly. She knew what she was doing for my odd body shape read more

I've found my new place. The parking here isn't that bad, people are always coming but also going so a space opens up if there isn't already one. Everyone is right; NO SMELL! And all the peanut butter cup stains were gone! Very pleased and I'll be coming back. read more

HORRENDOUS tailoring. If I could give them negative stars I would. I wouldn't take my daughters dolls clothes here. Words alone can not describe how awful they are. ruined $600 dollars of shirts. DO NOT GO THERE read more
