I found Brandon on Nextdoor app for a great price. He reached out and i was open to having him do some work for me and potentially a lot more in the future. We agreed for him to do 1 accent wall and a small bathroom with a toilet in it. Initially, he told me he would see me Saturday after 6pm but never showed or texted with updates. Sunday came and he texted me early in the AM. I decided to still give him a try. He stated after church he would be by me between 11:00-11:30 but did not arrive to my home until close to 1pm. So he def lacks punctuality. When he did come he was reserved but polite. He was also overly confident in how he does his jobs. he made it very clear that his alleged 16 yrs of experience required no painting prep. I must say i was very apprehensive at first but i ultimately trusted the process. He was kind enough to suggest i switch my expensive paint from Satin sheen to Egg Shell. The switched required me to run to Sherwin williams to replace the paint real quick. Unfortunately that would ultimately change the projected completion time. He texted me shortly after i left and stated he needed to run to grab a booked U-Haul. Not going to lie, it was a bit unsettling to hear that he had to leave with absolutely no approximate time when he would return. Not sure where the oblivion came from but it would have been a kind professional gesture to let me know beforehand so i the customer could have a little control on managing my time or who i picked for the job and even when the job would be completed. Who rents a Uhual, move and dont know ahead of time. Personally what he said could be true but i personally think there was more to the situation that he did not want to disclose and made up a story. but i could be wrong. One thing for sure i was not born yesterday. Ultimately he left me for 4-5 hrs before finally coming back to finish. At this point he confidently convinced me that priming my wall with existing paint was not necessary because the new paint with a different sheen had primer in it and it would dry evenly. I must say when GOD gives me wisdom, i ignore it sometimes to avoid conflict. Brandon clearly had a hidden agenda and had no intentions of doing what i wanted and doing it well. In fact he rushed the job and stated he needed to run to the airport to pick up his girlfriend. Now make it make sense smh. ‍ he decides to again not share these details to me before hand causing me to rush and avoid a second or third coat. He knew i was uneasy about him leaving the job before letting it dry and blend. He promised me with strong assurance that he would return if the job was not good and the wall did not blend. Disappointed i was, i felt it was important to verbally let him know that he was wrong for not letting me know about all his daily plans. His response was, "well technically we didn't have a official appointment" .... again his delusion/oblivion in that statement made it very clear he has no accountability. Despite it all, we left on a good note and i paid him for his services. The next day i sent him pictures of the wall not blending like my fear, and his paraphrased response was "ok ill come back and do 1-2 more quotes". Again the wisdom kicked in because i knew deep down inside he had no intentions of coming back. Whats crazy is this man blatantly lied to me via text 3 times about returning to my home to fix the job. Guess what? i even offered to incentivize him to come back by offering additional paid work. Did it help? NO! What saddens me about this situation is how hard it is for minority owned business to do well when you have owners like Brandon who lacks accountability, TRUST, commitment and Professionalism. I mean whatever happened to simply " Just Doing The Right Thing". I am sure Brandon will somehow think how he handled me was right or maybe lie to potentials that what i said isnt true but i assure you i have no reason to lie. Unfortunately i must rank Brandon and his business a 1 star because he left me hanging for a whole week, and made 3 failed promises to return to my home. At this point i will accept the L (lost) and allow my Powerful God to have his way and hold him accountable. i simply would NOT recommend Brandon because he literally did me wrong. Again my goal was not to bash Brandon. He is a nice and pleasant guy but he has more going on then he'd like to admit. Unfortunately good people like me get caught in the cross fire and are burned by our own people.

When I initially put my Painting Project out on Yelp, Mathew was 1 of the 1st to respond and though I originally had another company in mind, through continued diligent communication by Mathew, AFM ultimately earned my business. Mathew was SUPER communicative up until my job was confirmed and booked and then he kinda' disappeared on me a bit until the morning of my appointment, which though it had me slightly nervous along the way and pushed me to have a Plan B ready just in case, it ultimately just let me know that he is a man of his word, but not going to keep beating you over the head with communications in between time. As my pictures show, 1 part of my project was a mosaic-type piece in my Entryway Hallway and though Mat told me that he'd never done this type of design, he also said that he was confident that his team could get it done and do it well! I have to say that Francisco and his cohort who actually did the work did an OUTSTANDING job...I was and am quite pleased!! The small bedroom that I had done in addition was a layup from a 7-Footer in comparison and they did an outstanding job on that as well! =) After the crew left that night, I noticed a faint orange dusting on my carpet, which obviously wasn't there before, because my original walls weren't orange prior to the project. I reached out to let Mat know and he explained what he thought the issue might be and said that he'd come out by the following Wednesday (In 5 days) to take care of it, via a carpet shampooing or alternate method. Mat actually called the next day and said that he would be able to come and rectify the problem in an hour, if I was home and available (Which I was). He arrived in a timely manner and rubbed what appeared to be some kind of paint-thinning lacquer in the problem areas of the carpet and said that letting it sit about 2 hours and then vacuuming the treated areas should take care of the problem and it did to eyes less discerning than mine - SUCCESS!! Mathews original quote was the 2nd highest of the 5 quotes that I received, but when it was all said and done, it was well worth it. I never signed/accepted my original quote however and in gaining my business, Mathew told me that he'd probably be able to come down on the price a bit, but that was NOT the case in the end. No harm, no foul, as I have some culpability in that hiccup as well, for not confirming the final price before work started. With that being said; Though I absolutely recommend this company, I'd implore you to be clear on a price upfront!!

My husband called the company and help arrived the following morning. We were panicking because the leak seemed to be under our drive way. Luckily after little digging the plumber discovered where the leak was and took care of it. The actual repair didn't even take two hours. They changed the leaky pipe and left us happy. Their pricing was very reasonable, unlike what some of the larger companies would have charged. The plumber also suggested that we contact Cobb County Water System and ask for adjustment on our water bill due to a leak. Great advise. This is a nice small business, and we can highly recommend them for your plumbing issues.
