There was also an area by the front door that was an uneven concrete mess with big gaps between the brick and concrete. He came out to attempt to fix these issues . He advised me that I should just have the concrete painted to cover up the uneven color, which will result in more money out of pocket for me, to cover up shoddy work He claims he "fixed" the uneven area by the door. It now looks worse, with different color, texture and a raised area. I have had painters in to look at painting the concrete. They have expressed concern that the "fix" in the front will likely look worse when painted, much like a big drywall patch would look if not smoothed and sanded. I reached out to Skip about trying to rectify this problem area and he just said "Sorry". Claims he did all could do. I'm now stuck with additional expenditures to attempt to correct a giant eyesore in the middle of my entry

Since the water intrusion was minor, the issue was not noticed until much later (the mold formed all in the insulation around the pipe). Unfortunately, since we were not able to connect the dots that our sickness was mold, the mold was in the wall, and it was stemming from the pipe/boot within a year, we were outside of Red Tops 1 year warranty and they balked on any liability; even a simple request for a refund on the small project they did. Raised this issue with Red Top and they did not come out to my home until 5 months and 20+ emails, phones calls, text messages later.

Not only did he come when he said he would, he contacted my husband prior to coming to ask a few additional questions. To get to the source of the leak and repair it, he had to dig a 4 foot deep hole along the foundation at the front of our house and remove a shrub in the process. He was able to repair the pipe and fix the leak while making it look like we never had a hole in our yard! He put the shrub back, filled in the hole, and it looks amazing.
