Sunglass Hut

I have never worn sunglasses in my life because I always wore prescription glasses. Recently I got…read moreLasik and I went into their store to get my first pair of sunglasses. I did not know anything about sunglasses, how they fit my face and the perfect frame for each person, but Lindsey went above and beyond into making sure we found a pair of sunglasses that fit, my face anatomy. Ended up walking away with three pairs of sunglasses and everybody has been complementing how amazing each one of them look on me. Moving forward, I will only be coming to this particular store in Tucson when I need help with sunglasses. Loved the energy that Lindsey and her team brought to our interaction and highly recommend her help into finding the best sunglasses for you!

FIVE STARS! This particular Sunglass Hut store has stellar management, and all of the employees…read morereflect that leadership quality. The manager's name is Lindsey. I brought her a pair of broken vintage Ray Bans to see if there was a way to repair them. After two attempts from her to order the correct tiny screws needed for the fix and then even taking them to an outside repair source for the right tool to finish the repair, she handed them back to me totally like new! This is over and above normal, good customer service. I am a dedicated customer for life and have already referred a friend to the store. In the future when I am in the market for a new pair of premium sunglasses, I won't shop online to maybe try to save a few dollars. It's not worth it when I can get instant gratification and 5 Star service!!! Highly recommended.

I just wanted to try on some sunglasses. So I went upstairs where there is another Sunglass Hut. Then the employee from downstairs showed up at the store upstairs and I had to run for it. So I'm posting it here also. Double whammy coming at you! 'Cause that's what happens when you come at me, Sunglass Hut! I will get you like Andy who first reviewed this place! By far the worst experience I ever had in shopping! Walked into this store looking to get those new Daft Punk looking Versace glasses so I could take selfies to post to my snapchat and make people jelly. My friend was also there looking to get new sunglasses after his broke. However, while browsing the store, the sales girl kept watching me very closely and eventually followed me around the store. I could see her in my peripheral vision and also in the reflection of all the mirrors in the store. It was that obvious to the point where I thought I was on an episode of ABC's "What Would You Do?" and that dude John Quinones was gonna walk out from the back at any moment. He never did come out and that's when it dawned on me.... holy shiz, this mediocre sales girl who is apparently a time traveler from the Jim Crow era is actually FOLLOWING me and WATCHING me like a hawk! At one point, I even caught the little sneak trying to look into the bag I was carrying!!! No lies people, she acted like she was rearranging sunglasses where I had my bag on the counter and she was trying to look into it to see if I took anything! She was extremely creepy and obviously profiling customers. How do I know this? Because when my friend and I left the store due to her profiling and creepiness, we went downstairs to the other Sunglass Hut near Pandora where the salesman informed us that the creepy sales girl from upstairs called him and told him that we were coming down and to watch us closely. Yes, the salesman indeed confirmed that the sales girl from upstairs said we were stealing! WTF!? Not only that, she called all the other stores and told them we were stealing. First of all, why the heck would we need to steal sunglasses!? I was wearing a new pair of Chromance Ray Bans which I bought from Sunglass Hut (as well as four other pairs). My boots are Jefferey West from London. My watch is Emporio Armani as well as my jeans. My car is worth more than these kids' mediocre education, and I have a career where I make in an hour 5x what these kids make in a day. I do NOT steal and neither does my friend who is an international lawyer. Go check your freakin surveillance cameras! I don't know what kind of company policies Sunglass Hut has, but they obviously condone employees engaging in racial profiling. I haven't seen employees follow customers around since those old 1990s sitcoms. Yeah, apparently it happens in real life people and this girl is one of those followers and profilers! Customers should be able to walk into a store and shop without being followed, watched like strippers on a pole, wrongly accused of theft, and profiled based on race, gender, ethnicity, clothing, sexual preference etc. These kids needs to be put in their place and the sales girl from the Sunglass Hut on the second floor of the Tucson Mall next to the elevator and Sephora, who worked on Tuesday afternoon (November 6, 2018) around 5 pm, needs to be fired for her profiling of customers. If she reads this, here is what I have to say to you: You know who I am (I'll give you a hint, my long hair and boots were prettier than yours) and you know what you did. I knew what you were doing. It was so blatantly obvious and very uncomfortable. I don't know what you had against me or my friend, but let me tell you something darlin', this is 2018 and people are different. Accept it. I'm more embarrassed for you than for myself being the victim of profiling. My colleagues, friends, and family have all been warned of you and the Sunglass Hut. And to the folks who managed to get this far in my review, you also have been warned. I will never buy from Sunglass Hut again, and I will continue to tell this story for years to come (I will because I got a big mouth, read my other reviews!). I'd rather sit in another semester of managerial accounting with that jackass professor from 2006 than shop at Sunglass Hut for a minute. TL;DR Version: mediocre sales girl from the Sunglass Hut on the second floor of the Tucson Mall near the Sephora profiles customers and wrongly accused me and my friend of stealing. Date and Time of incident: Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at around 5:00 pm. All in all, 1 star out of 5. I'd rate it less if I could, but apparently we also live in a world where everyone gets trophies and stars even for failing. God this society is going downhill.... Stay Vigilant People
