I am still unable to wear my glasses for more than 2 hours per day. The manager tells me the frames returned having new lenses fitted I had for 2 years. These are NOT the frames I took in. They have messed my records up with another customer. I need my original frames back although I suspect they have been sold to someone else. Please avoid the store like the plague. I will continue with these posts until Pearl Vision sees sense a close this underachieveing store. They are giving the company a bad name. Dishonest-don't go here. I took my 82 year old mother because they accept her insurance. The total cost for her lenses was $989.98 AND THAT DID NOT INCLUDE THE FRAMES. BEWARE of this well-dressed fast talking salesman with obvious disdain for women talked over us and threw out add-one and numbers without writing them out for us. He became agitated when I asked questions and did not provide an itemized list of the charges. On top of everything else he added an anti glare for $189 that she did not ask for so when I called to question it, he became aggressive and basically told me my mother was wrong but I reminded him that I was there with her at the time of purchase. I am mad at myself for not insisting on the itemization before paying because it was a shocker to receive a bill for almost $1000 after the fact. He will also tell you that he will be providing discounts but what he refers to as discounts are the insurance payments. Had she purchased her frames from him, she would have been into it for well over $1,500. We will be contacting the BBB and the Ohio Attorney General's office to report this price gouging of the elderly. I would encourage you to do the same. You should also know that I called the corporate headquarters of Pearle Vision who at first said they would refund us the charge for the anti glare; later said we had to take it up with the store. My second to last visit, I opted not to go through with an exam (designated at the start of my visit). The tech sat me in front of a machine, scanned my eye, and the doctor told me since I did the exam, I might as well pay to see the results. I decided the second time around, I'd adamantly refuse. The next visit, the doctor insisted that my astigmatism needed a closer look, and this exam was necessary- he found nothing from the scan, and based my need for change off of looking directly at my eye. I was then offered a "free bottle" of cleaning solution to do a survey, but the gentleman literally stood over my shoulder. I feel like my interactions have had a strong focus on upselling and not actually treating my vision. I'm not comfortable going there, so I am going elsewhere. THE WORST QUALITY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! Don't know how to do a basic eye exam. I went to their place 2-3 weeks ago for my annual eyes check and new contact lens as it was almost out. After getting my eyes checked, I did not receive the trial contact lens from their doctor as he said they were out of it. They went ahead help me order the whole year plan for my contact lens without knowing if the new prescription works well for me or not. When I tried my contact lens ordered from them, they were very blurred and 2 visions. I could not function normally with them. I called the place and even went back their several times, but they could not figure it out why. I complained and asked for money back but the manager there did not want to give it back to me. He said it is Nonrefundable for this profession... I spent almost $200 for my eyes exam. It did not work at all for me but you said NO for the refund????? I am sorry, but you guys don't even know how to do a basic and correct eyes exam to your client. They had to ask me for consulting my last year eye doctor from different place. Why can't your doctor do a good exam on the client?? Why do I have to pay lot of money, go back and forth just for my good fit contact lens???? I was so disappointed about their Quality and Services. Wonderful experience!! I flew in from out of town on a layover heading out of the country and realized I didn't have my contacts. The staff at Pearle Vision, Rhiannon in particular, were incredibly kind and helpful. They helped me get a pair of contacts and even offered to stay late so I could be sure to pick them up. I am so grateful! They even included lens solution and a case. They turned a stressful experience into a pleasant one. Could not recommend them enough! read more

Pearle Vision are independently owned. This means they set their own prices. Suffice it to say I paid almost triple for the same pair of glasses as at another Pearle location. Over $700 for a pair of glasses, compared to $299. Shame on me for not doing my homework. read more

I had an issue with multiple pairs of frames being sent from the manufacturer. I didn't think the outcome would be good but after being made aware of the issue, the store manager Walid, made sure I received white glove service until my issue was resolved. I'm giving four stars as my frames had to be ordered a total of four times (initial order and three additional), each time taking two or more weeks to be received. In my opinion, this is more of a reflection of the vendor (Luxotica) instead of the store front. Customer Service is very important to me and Walid definitely delivers in that area! Had such a great experience here! I stopped in to schedule my appointment, the manager Walid did his best to get me an appointment as soon as possible. When I went to the appointment, the receptionist was so friendly! My appointment with Dr. Mahan started right on time. He was very personable and made me feel very comfortable. After the exam, Walid assisted with ordering my contacts. The contacts I needed had a rebate offer that I was eligible for, and he showed me a few different order options (price and quantity) and what type of rebate I could get with each option. Once I decided what I wanted to order, he explained the steps I needed to take to receive my rebate. Once I received my contacts I tried to submit my rebate, but I was missing a receipt that I needed. I let Walid know, and had the receipt that I needed by the end of the day. Each employee I dealt with was so nice and friendly, my family and I will definitely be returning!!! read more

Recently, I went to an ophthalmologist for my annual diabetes eye care exam and was given a new prescription for glasses. I was looking for a specific style of frame and began my search. I went to several eye care centers and couldn't find exactly what I was looking for until I went to Pearle Vision in Parma. I loved the frames, sent them in to be made, came back, lenses were totally wrong. Went back to the original ophthalmologist and had the prescription rechecked. He totally changed it. (???). Went back to Pearle and they could not have been kinder or more helpful. My consultant was Rhiannon who is not only beautiful externally, but was very patient and so willing to make things right. They sent them back in to be remade free of charge. When they came back, they still weren't right. I was discouraged. Right there on the spot, the eye doctor at Pearle, Dr. Mahan took me to the chair, fine tuned my prescription at a reduced office visit fee since my insurance would not cover another exam, and Pearle sent them back for a third time at no cost. When they came back this time, they were perfect!!! Thank you so much to the staff at Pearle Vision, Parma, for your outstanding customer service and insistence on making it right, even though the first two "bad prescriptions" were not your fault. The manager (lovely man, can't remember his name, sorry!), Rhiannon, and Dr. Mahan have made me and my family Pearle customers for life!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you! read more
