I'm always a little wary of bubble tea bc I don't drink sweet drinks. The drinks can be modified to have less sugar and fresh fruit instead of the boba or jelly. OKAY, BUT SLOW service. After seeing a line out the door to this place for the first 2-3 months since it's opening, I felt like I had to try this place for myself. I was also excited to see another boba place pop up in the tri-cities area (win!). However, this place was okay--nothing amazing. The drinks were basic and as someone who grew up drinking boba in an Asian community on the regular, I also went on to own a couple of boba shops. This said, the drinks are made using basic powders and syrups. In contrast, Teahaus, another boba shop across town in Richland, I feel uses fresher ingredients and puts more of an effort to make drinks unique and different than just "basic." The line here is also long but I feel it is because they don't have enough workers staffed so it takes forever to take and fulfill orders. If they had just one more employee working, I feel their speed would be greatly increased and business would probably be better for them. A couple of highlights about this place: (1) they get their boba right. This means that the tapioca pearls they have are perfectly cooked and sweetened making for perfectly chewy drink topping. (2), They have both coffee and energy drinks so the variety here is pretty good. (3) At the time of writing, prices were VERY competitive to other boba places in Tri-cities area and I predict prices will be going up soon. I paid $9.35 for 2 milk tea drinks with boba. Great deal! Usually people that aren't familiar with boba just don't know what to order and go with basic flavors like strawberry. I recommend trying their original milk tea, taro milk tea, or coconut milk tea drinks--and of course get them with boba. Overall, this place is OK if you absolutely need your boba fix, but in my opinion, it is not worth the wait and is nothing great if you're used to amazing boba in bigger cities. read more

This place is soooo good ! Im from california and just came to washington to visit, but cali is a place where boba is pretty much everywhere and this place is probably one of the top places ive been to. To the young lady who was working 3/16 around 3pm. Thank you for being so sweet. Im sorry I didnt get your name but the Chocolate Snow is 10/10 !!!!!! My friend also liked her Tiger Milk Tea. The tapioca boba pearls were also some of the best ive had. I think the only downside was that the drinks were kinda expensive. I spent like $15 for 2 drinks. Also my wait wasn't very long I guess I just went in at a good time but overall great boba :) read more

Their drinks are good don't get me wrong, but I can cleary hear what the staff are saying behind the back counter, and they can afford to have a little more respect for their customers, or at least be more weary of how loud they are. I'm embarrassed enough about having to pay part cash and part card for my drinks when I'm low on money (its good to treat yourself sometimes ), but the lady behind the back counter's response when her coworker asked her if they could break my $5 so I could use some of it towards my drink was a very loud demeaning "no, we're not a bank", but it was suddenly allowed again when I overheard her and told her I was planning to use the rest as a tip. My drink did not taste the best honestly. Bobalastic is way better and cheaper. The lady did not believe us when we told her that we found a hair in our drink. I do not recommend it. I'll recommend bobalastic. read more

I visited pearl tea the last Sunday and was disappointed. I came in around 11/12 and got a strawberry kiss, I think the fruits they put in the drink are not fresh because the drink tasted like rotten strawberries. The tapioca in the drink was hard and not fully cooked. The place looks nice but the experience is not good! read more

Came here because I was already at the mall and wanted boba. The drinks were good but definitely not worth $9 and change per drink. Ordered 3 drinks and it came out almost $30. Kind of ridiculous to me. Service could be better they should be asking for sizes and also handing out you a receipt. Def won't be going back here. read more

I had a blended drink and it tasted good. The people were nice also. The place has a cool vibe and is smaller. However, service was very slow. People came in, waited and ultimately left. Hopefully, they will get more staff or get faster at making the drinks. The other thing is a big issue for me. The menu board has NO prices. I bought 2 Sri Ke and the total was $14 plus. This was a treat for us but I like to know prices before I order. Everything appeared to be included and I even asked but if want a topping of any kind and follow their order instructions you will get charged more. Got a Tiger Milk Tea with less sugar and an Original Milk Tea with Brown Sugar Crystal Boba both with less ice First off, the drink it self isn't bad, just not worth the price. It was about $15 for two drinks. I asked for less ice and the person who took our order didn't tell me it was an additional 50 cent charge for each drink. The wait was really long and the amount of ice in the drink is not in anyway less ice than the other drinks that were being served. The price of the drinks were also not on the menu so you go in blind on the pricing of the drinks. TLDR; payed extra 50 cents per drink for less ice but didn't get less ice read more
