It's never easy finding a proper contractor. Pearl however came through on my bathroom remodel. They arrived when they said they would, their timeline was accurate, they used quality parts, and they stood by their work. Best part was that I could get a hold of someone whenever I had any comments or requests. I'm not the easiest guy to deal with when it comes to working on my house, but they always remained calm and professional with me. That in itself is worth a tremendous amount. read more

We contacted Pearl remodeling due to the reviews on Yelp. We had a leak in our kitchen and we needed remodeling as soon as possible. We met with Gal on 2-12-17. He talked to me and my husband with the work and planning. We liked him right away although I felt the work was overpriced and yet they still considered the job more than 15 grand. Workers were very professional and friendly. They followed up with us if there was any issue and resolved the problem as soon as they could. We are satisfied with the results and glad its finally completed. read more

Just bought a place and needed a contractor to do some work. We were very pleased with how fast we were able to set up an appointment for a home renovation consultation. Ben was straight forward and honest with us about the scope of work we wanted done and the cost. He spent over 2 hours with us and didn't make us feel rushed. Would recommend giving them a call! read more

I highly recommend these guys for your remodel! They remodeled my kitchen and two bathrooms for a great price. They were reliable, friendly, and performed quality work. They even helped with great ideas for the design and provided my fixtures for low prices. From concept to finish, they were great in every way. read more

Pearl Remodeling came out and installed an aluminum patio cover and it looks great. Izhak was the salesman and his crew did an excellent job. I would definitely ask them out again for other projects around my house. read more

We hired Pearl Remodeling to completely demo and remodel our bathroom. They are absolutely the best contractors i have ever worked with! They are incredibly professional and also quite nice and fun people. They straight up finished our bathroom within one month, start to finish! And i might add that it turned out glorious! Gal was an awesome guy who talked us through every step of our remodel. He was patient and worked us through any problems or fears we had. Caesar and his crew were extremely nice! Caesar answered any questions we had and told us in detail what they were going to be doing every day. All in all we are over the moon with our new beautiful bathroom! We will definitely be using Pearl Remodeling for all future projects! read more

Pearl Remodeling is fantastic. They remodeled our kitchen and bathroom on budget and ahead of schedule (remarkably fast). The whole team was excellent, especially Izaak, Cesar and Alex. The remodel came out beautiful. Even better than we had hoped. We have 3 kids, and having Pearl Remodeling in our home was minimally intrusive. They were so respectful of our home and family. Never did we hear 'construction worker' language or feel uncomfortable with the team at our house. Izaak helped us come up with a great design and Cesar led the team to make it happen. Whenever we had a question or concern, they were available and quick to help us get the end result we wanted. Their primary goal was our satisfaction. We will DEFINITELY call Pearl for any future projects. We love our remodel. read more

As a Realtor we have few groups of Contractors that we can use but my preferred contractor is Pearl Remodeling; They're on time, knowledgeable and work with you to get the job done right! First time and only time!... that's why we will always have Pearl Remodeling do our own projects and will recommend for our clients needs as well. _ _ Thank you Ron, read more

Gal is amazing! I couldn't recommend him more, he was very communicative, professional, and experienced.

Just had my kitchen completely redone by these guys and it was a very pleasant experience from the start. high quality and reliable job, and their prices are competitive The great thing is that Ken is always available either on site or by phone managment had always someone to talk to read more

Pearl Remodeling was great. Their bid came in at about the middle compared to others, and in the end, I chose them because I felt comfortable working with the co-owner Jacob. He was honest, straight forward, available and personable. Throughout the process he was in constant contact with me, often checking in just to make sure I was pleased with the progress. His crew gutted and remodeled my kitchen, in addition to removing load bearing walls in order to open up my floor plan. They did a great job, were really fast, and even vacuumed at the end of each day to keep it as clean as possible. At the end there were a few things I wanted adjusted - standard in any job, and he accommodated all my requests without question. He made sure I was happy with the job, as I am. Jacob and his team get my highest recommendation. read more

I had my patio covered just last week and this was done by Pearl Remodeling through Omer Barel. He gave me a good price for the whole project and finished it much earlier than what was agreed upon. My patio now looks totally fantastic and I really loved it. Surely, this will add value to my house, thanks to Omer and his highly skilled workers. I would definitely call on him again for future projects and would highly recommend Omer and Pearl Remodeling. read more

My husband and I had Pearl led by Rick redo our kitchen. Our kitchen before looked like Granny's bed and breakfast in the woods. Now we have a luxurious sexy kitchen! It's amazing! Rick really listened to us and was so kind and honest! Everyone under him was top notch! I have heard horror stories of contractors not getting the job done in time. But they said the job would be done in two weeks and it was done in two weeks! Rick took us shopping and offered his expert opinion on what what look good, color, etc. We continue to refer them to everyone! The price was totally reasonable too! They work around your budget and give you options! We met with several contractors and none could compare to Pearl, seriously. read more

I thought a lot before posting this review with this rating. We engaged Ron and Pearl Remodeling to 'de-soundproof' a garage/music studio in a house that we had just bought. This was not a simple job - walls were about a foot thick - and we needed a functioning garage at the end. It was not a simple process, but Ron and his team were professionals throughout. Ron came and did an estimate (for a fee but I understand why). When we signed, they started work immediately which was crucial for us. Alberto was an excellent leader - polite, professional and very hardworking. The demo was completed quickly and efficiently. I'll skip to the end because the job finished very well and - given the bumps in the road below - Ron, Alberto and Pearl deserve real credit. We had some issues. First, we had to make some decisions on the width of the garage door. We had some 'constructive disagreement' over that but I saw Ron's point and he was fair. Then we had delay on the door which was not their fault but still meant we had no garage door for a while. There were some odds and ends with the job - lack of tidy up (surprising and out of character) and some damage that needed repairing. We had some issues with electrical which needed fixing - but they fixed them. The reasons I am giving four stars is not because everything was perfect, but because Ron and his team handled the challenges well. They worked incredibly hard to get this done. I'm sure they lost money by underestimating the work involved. They were here day after day. When there was damage or delay, they solved it and we came to fair terms in the end. Bottom line: I would absolutely hire them again. Having worked with numerous contractors now, there are a lot of things that can be corrected (I can use a ShopVac if I need to) but professionalism, honesty and commitment to carry the job through to completion are non-negotiable for me. Unfortunately, they are also rarer than I would like. read more

We recently added new patio cover to our backyard. Eric Shahar from Perl remodeling was very helpful and knowledgeable through the entire process. From the initial estimate to plan drawing to city permit to building the actual patio - everything was done on time and practically flawless. Eric was available to answer my endless questions via text, phone at email at any time. The actual patio looks beautiful and was completed in less than a day. Thanks Eric! read more

I contacted PEARL REMODELING due to the large number of great reviews on YELP and apparently I did the right thing. After meeting with a knowledgable project manager named Izhak, we agreed to move forward with my home project. Shortly after that things got complicated when they discovered a potential issue with the city. Rather than putting me through an expensive remodel that no longer made sense, my deposit was refunded in person by Izhak (contrary to the agreement) explaining it was more important for Pearl Remodeling to "do the right thing than keep the deposit". Imagine that, a Los Angeles Company who is looking for their "potential clients" over their bottom line. I TRUST this company and will call them again in the future!!!!! oh, and I would ask for Izhak! read more

My roof over the garage and house were leaking bad so I called Ken at Pearl. They replaced the clay tile and flat roof in May 2011. Pearl Remodelling did a great job. They finished in a week and the clay tiles look great. Their price was in line with few other quotes I got but Ken's professionalism and different payment options was the winner. I'll call them again to do my bathroom and kitchen next. read more

I've had various experiences with general contractors which have left e less than satisfied. Not so with Pearl Remodeling. Jacob gave a great quote on what was a small job for them. Despite the size of the job (a small garage roof replacement and replacing damaged sheet rock in the storage area), I felt like we were a priority client. The job was completed incredibly quickly and it looks fabulous. Best yet - we had no leaks during the downpour the day after completion. When the time comes to do more work on the house, Pearl will be my first, and possibly only, call. read more

This is long overdue. Ron has been very helpful. He takes extra steps to cater his clientele. Keep up the good work.

Very helpful and didn't charge a penny when most other companies would. Took the time to answer my all my questions and even pointed me in the right direction never minding profits only trying to help me get the right people for my job. Thank you. I will diffidently be saving your number. read more

Talked to Jacob on the phone. Really helpful and took the time to answer my questions.

Spoke to Ron about a potential remodel and was very impressed. He was fair, honest, and professional with his opinion and estimation; even going above and beyond to inform me of certain costs I hadn't prepared for. With all the chaos in the contracting world, It's nice to know there are places like Pearl to make a stressful project a little less stressful! read more

We used Pearl Remodeling to renovate the kitchen and bathrooms of our newly purchased home back in September 2020. Ben Oded was our project manager and life coach for the two month renovation process. Ben addressed our concerns and expertly guided us through each stage of the renovation. From the first meeting until completion, he answered every question we had and outlined how the process would work. At the initial meeting, we discussed my ideas of the kitchen and bathroom layout and he came up with a design that fit my vision perfectly. He even came with us to the tile store (shout out to Superior Tile) to help us with the tile we chose offering insight into the different types of stone and what to expect with maintenance. In addition to Ben, the entire crew that worked on the renovation did an exceptional job......From the electrician who put in recessed lighting in our kitchen and hallway and installed our many chandeliers including assembling and hanging the numerous crystal pieces! To Efrain who was masterful with the tile installment, expertly installing backsplash in our kitchen (from countertop to ceiling) and beautifully put up the tile in our bathroom in a step ladder pattern. Additionally, the glass doors ordered from Summit Glass and Mirror for our bathroom are exquisite. For the bathtub and shower, we decided to install frameless hinged glass doors for both instead of sliding doors. This gives an unobstructed view of the amazing tile work and highlights the shower features we installed. The countertop installers did an amazing job in the kitchen putting in our waterfall countertop. Also, the kitchen cabinets were beautifully made and provide enough space to hide all of my cutlery and other cooking tools. I opted for the lazy susan in two of the cabinets and the pullout drawers for my pantry and these features make life easier and more organized. Ben oversaw and lead this renovation and ensured it finished within budget and on time. Everyday he provided updates whether it was by phone, texts, or in person. I met and spoke with him more than I did with my friends and family, which goes to show his level of involvement and commitment. This isn't an exception, but the norm. If you read other reviews on Yelp and Houzz for Pearl and Ben you will consistently find similar statements regarding his work ethic and level of engagement. Five months after completion and I am still amazed at how beautiful the renovations are and how smoothly the process went. I have several more projects I plan on working with Pearl/Ben in the future because of their outstanding work and service. Thank you for making our home so beautiful and the reno process so smooth. read more

Pearl's remodeling did an excellent job remodeling our patio. We had a flagstone patio installed about a year and a half ago (with another company), but it wasn't done well and the flagstones were lifting up. We originally were thinking of having the flagstone redone, but Jacob gave us the great suggestion of using pavers and extending the length of the patio and we are very satisfied with the final results! The entire job was done very professionally, and we were impressed with the small details- like cutting the pavers to fit tightly around some pipes. Jacob was great in giving us design ideas and really was patient and supportive through the whole process. Also we got a great gas firepit built in the center which looks very nice and makes our patio usable in the evening so overall we will get more use out of it. The crew did a good job cleaning up, and Jacob was attentive to all of my questions during and after the project. When it rained and the water heater pilot light went out, the company sent their plumber out again to relight it and reseal the gaps in the newly installed water heater shed. Also when our sprinklers wouldn't turn on after the project was completed he came and figured out the problem (fuse needed to be replaced) and fixed it for us for no additional charge, though it wasn't clear if it was caused by or was independent of the new patio installation. We definitely will use this company again! read more

Excellent service! They got the job done earlier than promised.

Very happy with the work they completed on our house. Ron was always available to discuss the progress and ask questions. With any major job, there's always bound to be some slight hiccups, but at the end of the day, we are very happy with the results. Thank you everyone! read more

After speaking with the Owner, he was very apologetic and offered to come out and give a free generic estimate on the repairs as we wanted. He seems to care about his clients and making them happy. I have nothing but good things to say about Gal and the company he represents. He dedicated the time and provided me with everything I needed for my dreamed project. I wanted to do a full remodel of my patio. However the HOA didn't approved the work due to the building drainage problems not disclosed in the CCNRs when I bought the property. In order for me to go ahead I would have to spend money on engineering. This has nothing to do with Perl nor Gal. Furthermore I had a family emergency that prevented me of having the equity available. Despite Perl great efforts on financing my financial situation as a new home owner wouldn't allowed me to do so. I won't hesitate to call Gal again as soon my financial situation gets better I am sure he will provide me with all the help needed again for me to get the project approved and have the patio of my dreams! Thank you Gal ! read more

Just had a great call with Jacob - I had submitted a request for more information, interested in adding rooms over the garage and remodeling the kitchen. I had no idea where to start and no idea what the scope of this project might be. I'm not even a client yet and during this phone call he took 20 to 30 minutes to really just walk me through everything from beginning to end. I am super grateful because I have a lot better understanding of what to expect now and what the price range could potentially be. After he explained it to me I realized that I need another six months before I can really even begin to start this project. I'm super grateful - he was very patient, very honest, and not even frustrated in the slightest when I said that after talking to him I would need to delay this for six months at least. He said no problem and that he would be here and happy to help when we are ready and if we had any other questions he was available. I contacted this company because of the reviews around the customer service they experienced. I'm excited to revisit this with Jacob in six months when we are ready - thank you Jacob. read more

I recently bought a DTLA loft and it was in dire need of updating. I looked around online and found positive reviews for Pearl Remodeling. I was assigned to Gal as my GC. I had new floors put in, kitchen countertops and appliances, bathroom vanities and a wall taken down to open the living area. Gal made himself available whenever I had a question, and responsive whenever something needed to get done! He made me feel like I was his only customer. The crew worked fast, efficiently, and respected my home. I will definitely use Pearl for future remodeling needs and absolutely recommend them to everyone I know looking to remodel their home. These guys completely debunk the contractor reputation. Amazing. read more

Well, it's our third night in our newly remodeled house and we couldn't be happier. We still have lots of unpacking to do but I felt compelled to write this review to let others know how much of a pleasure it was working with Rick and his crew at Pearl Remodeling. Let me start from the beginning. Once we decided to go with Pearl Remodeling, Rick guided us every step of the way. He gave us valuable inputs while designing our remodel. When choosing materials, he spent all day driving us to different lumber and tile shops until we found the exact style and pattern we wanted. During the work phase, Rick addressed any concerns we had and was very accommodating to our changing ideas. We pointed out several issues we noticed as the work went on and he had no problems making his guys redo that section. During the last few days of work, I requested some changes to the contract and Rick and Pearl had no problems working with me to meet my needs. After this experience, I would have no problems recommending Pearl to my friends and family. Thank you for making this process so easy. Oh for reference the work done includes 2 complete bath redo - travertine/granite/new vanities hardwood floor throughout matching porcelain wood tiles in kitchen popcorn ceiling removal led recess lighting throughout kitchen cabinet refinish whole house painting read more

My experience with Pearl Remodeling can be summed up in one word - OUTSTANDING. To give you some background, I had my entire townhouse completely remodeled from head to toe; this included my kitchen, all three bathrooms, two bedrooms, living room, and dining room. Izhak was the contractor that I worked with throughout this entire project, and let me tell you, he is THE BEST. Not only is he highly talented, experienced, honest, and hardworking, but he also has a keen eye for design. Working with him gave me a great deal of confidence and support, and made the entire experience far more fun and pleasurable than I could have ever imagined. I would highly recommend Pearl Remodeling to anyone out there who looking to have some work done on their place, whether it be on a small or large scale. read more

Bought our house a few months ago and we had several several things that needed to get done before our home was ready for move in. It involved planning with their architect and obtaining a permit which took about six weeks. In the meantime they helped me pick out my plumbing fixtures, bath tiles, countertop and flooring, which I needed a lot of help with. Heather, their office manager, was just great and very helpful throughout the process. Also I must compliment the workers and especially Cesar, their foreman, who seemed to be working both day and night to get us into our home quickly (he could tell we were excited to move in and didn't want to wait more than we had to) Two thumbs up for Pearl and their amazing team! I would work with them again! read more

This company performed a kitchen remodel for me around 5 years ago and my wife gave them a five star review for that remodel. This past year we had a problem with the installation of one of our kitchen cabinets. I called Pearl to inquire about what they could do address my concern. Despite 5 years having passed, Pearl did not hesitate to send out a cabinet installer to address the problem immediately at no cost to us. Now that is what I call customer service! This is a fantastic company that I do not hesitate to refer to friends. Thank you Pearl Remodeling! read more

Her answer to my question was that I should not go forward with the work I had contacted them about.I was very impressed with her honesty and knowledge. I would highly recommend them read more

We needed a Pergola/Patio cover installed over our back deck and arranged for Pearl Remodeling to come by our home for an estimate. I had some general markings around the deck and on the exterior of the house for the dimensions I was looking for. Ben arrived and stayed with us for a long while. I asked many questions and had a bunch of nit-picky design requests. He assured us that all of my concerns would be addressed and was able to give us a quote before he left. It took the 2 man crew only about 3 (non-consecutive) days to complete the job. I was surprised at how much got done at the end of each day. The entire job was done by the end of the week. They were friendly, timely, answered all my questions and honored a drawing that I had created that called for specific design details. Although a structure like this isn't too complicated as far as home remodeling is concerned, the guys did very good work and did it quickly. Our new Pergola looks just as I had drawn it out and my wife and I are very happy. If you need a Pergola/Patio cover, we'd definitely recommend Pearl Remodeling. read more

Pearl Remodeling was highly recommended by an attorney I work for. My neighbor's car went into my block wall and Pearl took care of all the work negotiating with the insurance company - I didn't have to do a thing! They were prompt and always notified me when they would come out and do the work in stages. I was not happy with the color and they fixed the issue with the color. The repair was completed in a timely manner and the work was well done. I was very happy with the work and plan to use them again in the future. I don't usually trust contractors but Pearl won my trust. read more
