She was extremely friendly, flexible, and professional, as well as clear and responsive about the process following the shoot. She was kind enough to allow us to come over and select our favorite shots prior to editing (super appreciated, as I tend to be on the particular side) and the final, edited shots were great--natural, while still looking like the best versions of ourselves. She was supposed to show up at the air b n b at 12:00pm. Around 11:45am I texted her and said "hey don't worry about showing up right at 12, we're going slow this morning" I then get a text back that she was in an "accident" the night before. I was the one to reach out first to find out she wasn't going to come a half hour before she was supposed to show No communication what so ever, her backup photographer was inexperienced and took little photos and the photos taken were horrible lighting, closed eyes, not cute candid pics. She didn't direct us where to go or who to pose with. After the wedding I was ghosted. I attempted to reach out MULTIPLE times on multiple platforms and text with no reply. It was only when I threatened legal action that she released the pictures taken to me. She admitted the photos were "not to her standards" but that didn't give any reason for her to hold these photos from me. All while posting pictures of other weddings she did, it made me feel like garbage knowing ours were not good She offered to do a reshoot but who wants to get in their wedding dress and make everyone get dressed up and drive 6 hours to the UP again. The day can't be replaced. She offered a partial refund that we have not received and we still have not gotten our wedding album that we paid for and it has been 9 months, I am yet again being ghosted. Please for the sake of your sanity DO NOT book with Beautiful Chaos Photography, it's been the most unprofessional photographer I have ever worked with.

With all…read moreof the time, effort and money put towards our big day, we wanted to be sure we selected a photographer that we trusted to document the evening for us. We completely lucked out with Jayme and Russ. From the beginning, we were awed by their portfolio. Their photography captures its occupants in their natural state, where the emotions and expressions are both pure and raw - which is what we were looking for. They know how to artfully position themselves to capture the best angles for their work. After reaching out to them, the second perk we discovered is that they are a husband and wife team who can work together and capture the same moments from different angles. Their skills individually are exceptional and we were ecstatic to get have two high-caliber photographers for our day. We primarily communicated via email/phone and had all the details worked out prior to the wedding. Once the big day arrived, Jayme and Russ knew the schedule but were still great just going with the flow. I took about an hour longer getting ready than we expected - oh well :) Throughout the day and evening, they were always there but never intrusive, demanding or in the way. When the photos were ready to view, we were again blown away. They did an outstanding job of capturing our day. I cannot give them enough praise.The way they created our album tells a complete story from front to back. We will reach out to them for any photoshoots we may have in the future.
