Linda did my pedicure. She did a good job with my french pedicure. She didn't talk much to me, which is fine by me. I will go back again.

Suzy's is the best... I moved away 8 years ago to Sacramento and drove down twice a month for the first year. NO PLACE does a better job then Suzy's. They use a special technique, that I've never seen done at any other salon. I've asked and I've tried to explain... no body gets it. They are all sweet and good. But Suzy and Helen are the best. Gel nails look like real nails, they last forever. very very strong. I'm always getting compliments on how great they look. Cash only but so worth-it. I went in on a whim, after looking for a place in the area that wasn't $35!! They charge $15 for a regular pedicure and $25 for a spa pedi. Small, cute and friendly staff. Mindy did my pedicure and she was so sweet and so good! She worked for a long time on my feet and the interesting part was that she did my massage after the nails were painted! They turned out great! They offer mostly OPI nail polish which you can buy for $5 as well. Great nail salon for the price! Gets 5 stars from this pretty toed lady! :) read more

This place is clean the staff is friendly.....the prices are okay. I see Elaine for my pink and white nails and she's good. Make sure to schedule an appointment. I made an appointment to go on my lunch hour. The gal that did my acrylic fills was nice enough and did it quickly - but they all cracked the very next day! The lady that did my pedicure was rude and said she is helping someone that had an appointment. I said I had an appointment too that I made ahead of time! She gave me dirty looks the whole time and when it came time to polish my toes - she said she had to help someone else and that another person would polish my nails. I have been coming to this salon for 10+ years, and have had Elaine doing my nails for most of that time. I have been happy with the quality of the work, and been able to ask if something is not exactly the way I wanted. I am fairly easy going, but I like to change things up once in a while, and Elaine has showed me variations for my colors and shape, etc. Mindy and Linda have done my toes plenty of times, and I even allow myself a spa pedicure once in a while. Okay, I have been to Pearl Nails on and off for 5 years. If the truth be known, they are DIRT CHEAP in my book ($10 mani & $15 pedi). And they do use a separate little white tub for the pedicure so you don't get a foot disease. And I went to Lily, who probably gives the best pedicures around. However, I could not stand Lily's attitude. She makes you feel HORRIBLE (or, rather, she can, if she wants to). I always tip well, although she often did not deserve it. She talks about people in front of them. Makes nasty faces or does not speak to you. She makes it clear that she does not like doing what she does, in a very passive aggressive way. She once made me sit at the station next to hers with my back to her waiting for 1/2 hour, after which I left and did not return for 2 years. I recently went back and had the owner (Susie) do my nails. Linda is also nice, and I had two good experiences there. Then last week I made an appointment, and she switched the person doing my toes to Lily! I was annoyed, but I decided to give her a 3rd or 4th chance. Nope, she still has attitude, and now I will not go back to this salon ever again. Susie knew I did not like her and put me with her anyway. Definitely not worth the attitude, no matter how cheap you are!!! read more

One word -- HORRIBLE! So if you don't want to get a pedicure, that's when you go to this place...horribl horrible horrible service. I took 3 cardio classes all day and my feet were really hurting...basically, I really needed a good pedicure and I was in the area...I called them up and ended up at this place. What do I get?!? Not a pedicure! The lady who did my pedicue, as she scrubbed my feet was talking to her buddies at work and tyring on shoes?!?! can you believe that?!?! Yeah so she scrubbed my right foot like for a good 3 mins over and over again until my skin started peeling off and the other foot like literally 3 seconds. Then came the massage time -- she was not massaging my foot....I don't know what the heck she was doing -- it was just horrible and her concentration was on some conversation about shoes -- the other girls kept bringing shoes to try on from inside...and my lady kept trying them on and kept commenting on shoes and what fits her and what does not! Horrible experience. I hate this place. If you want to save your $20, take my advice and please go some place and get a pedicure where you deserve it! read more

Came here a bit ago after seeing how nice my aunts nails ALWAYS looked. Her nails didnt look obviously fake and always were done beautifully but my experience BEGS TO DIFFER. I went in and was seated right away with a lady(forgot her name not sure if it was Lily??) Told her i would like a gel french manicure set. She told me the price would be $22. Ok nice no biggie..As we continued her idea of conversation was making fun of my nails because i guess to her they were ugly because they werent "properly manicured" (thats what i was there for HELLO) .She left a few times. Twice to consult with a coworker(no problem) and like twice to go hang out (not ok) She continued on to buff or sand my nails and did it to where it really really hurt. Im very tolerant but at one point i jumped because it really stung and smelled like it was burning my nail. After she placed the nails on she let me know the price would be $25. I didnt quite understand why just assumed there was a logical reason keeping in my my aunt and her nails. She was almost finished and then said 'ok now its going to be $30. Why did she keep raising the price? i asked for nothing different along the way. Im pretty quiet and shy but i finally spoke up because 1) i was fed up and 2) only brought $30 (not that i felt like leaving a tip). She said it was because i wanted a french manicure. YEAH LADY thats what i said before i sat down and asked YOU the price. She could tell i was getting frustrated and said nevermind that $25 would be ok. today this morning sadly I am disappointed again - good lord is it really so hard to find a nail salon that treats their customers with the respect they deserve???????????????????? Anyone Anyone??? 2 weeks ago I got my nails filled and 2 days later I noticed a few of the nail stuff was coming up then I noticed that my cuticles were looking really shitty and then I noticed after a week or so that they were looking really ratty. Gosh dang - so I called yesterday and told them that I'll be in at 10:00 am and I didn't have time to wait and I wanted to be Lily's first customer well guess what???? Someone was already sitting getting their nails done and I couldn't believe it - because I specifically told the owner/receptionist my situation! And the owner/receptionist said "co in, sit dow we be wif you soon." yea no guess what nails salons are a penny a dozen - I left quietly and went back to TRUE NAILS behind McDonalds - OMG why why why why did I EVER leave? The women are so kind and genuinely sweet and no waiting and great service and holy cow you should see my nails they look amazing - perfectly wonderful wow - worth every single penny! I hate this place, the people are rude they suck at nails. The old lady made me bleed. They suck at designs. They looked in my wallet and saw I had cash and I wanted to pay with credit card and they said no cash please. KEEP YOUR EYES OUT MY WALLET CREEP! Ugh they're just not friendly they didn't do that great of a job. They sucked I won't be back and I won't let me coworkers or friends go there either. STAY AWAY! Had a walk-in pedicure at a friend's suggestion. It was just okay but started flaking off within days. Thought I'd try a facial since first experience was okay for the price. BIG MISTAKE. I asked for the $35.00 basic European. The girl "Tine" who did it was careless, lazy, extremely rough, and thought leaving me steaming for 40 minutes ( while she did who knows what) was her job. She tried to sell me on her hair coloring and cutting service and getting other services while lying there. I go to give her $35 (plus tip 'cause I'm too nice) and she says it is $45 because she gave me a Japanese Facial and she had to work harder because it was my first time. She "massaged" my neck and shoulders for less than a minute. Next time the facial would be only $ 35. NEXT TIME???? NO WAY!!! read more

I would recommend Elaine or Suzy, they both do a good job. I often get comments on how nice my nails look. Most places I've been to leave marks where they filed down the edge when filling - but when I leave here it looks like a fresh set. Even though I've been pleased with the few pedicures I've gotten there, I can't recommend them due to extremely poor customer service. Since I was 15 minutes late to my appt, I thought it reasonable when they said they wanted to take the person who should have been after me, but who arrived early. It made sense for her to not have to wait so I agreed to sit for what was supposed to be 20 minutes. However, someone else then showed up, and they took her ahead of me EVEN though she offered to come back another day. Linda didn't even ask if I was OK with this. By the time she started on me, I had been waiting OVER an hour! Keep in mind this is WITH an appt. That is unacceptable. She gave me $3 off, but it was a little too little, a little too late - pun intended. She said "See, no one is after you" as some kind of explanation for what happened, and I thought - Yeah, because you kept putting everyone ahead of me! Pedicures are supposed to be pampering and relaxing, and this was the opposite as I sat fuming for over an hour. Shortly before I left, a woman yelled out "Ow, that really burns". Perhaps she'll be writing a one star review next. Even though they're next to my hairdresser, I won't be going back anytime soon. read more

this is the worst nail service i have received from any nail salon. i first went for dip nails, (which were mediocre and didnt last as long as when ive gotten dip at other salons), but what was much worse is when i asked to get the dip removed after it was cracking and grown out. the lady i had was extremely rough and first tried to peel off the dip with her own finger nails and then a tool. it hurt very bad, and was causing damage to my nails, so i told her to stop and to please use acetone to be gentler. she only let my nails soak for 30 seconds at a time, and then used a rough drill but at a high speed to start shaving down the nails. there were multiple times where i had to pull my hand away because it would burn my nails. she even broke my index finger nail, after i told her i was trying to keep the length. not to mention the place is dirty, and the acetone they use is filled with dust and particles from other customers. after the removal was over and there was no product left over, she used a high grit file to further damage my nail beds. after that she charged me $10, an unreasonable price for something i should have just done at home. my nails are now incredibly brittle, bendy and i think theyll be all broken off by tomorrow. im very upset and they refused to give me any sort of refund after i told the head worker that i was unhappy with the service. trying to grow out my nails with dip was a lost cause, because this place killed my nails. read more

First came to Pearl nails in 2003 and pedicures were great. I do not know the ladies names and had returned to weeks ago after a 5 year absence. First visit with Elaine was great no complaints but when I returned to gt my nails filled by an unknown everthing went downhill. First of all the unknown lady did not speak a word of English so she did not communicate to me what she was doing. She was changing the shape of my nails to an old lady style it turned out and when I did not like it she sent me over to the lady that makes the appts and it got worse.I n a rush she grinded my nails down angain and my nails were so thin that 2 of them broke and so I asked her to put a tip on those 2 nails and she would not.She intead molded the broken areas.then she rushed through my nail and after 3 hours I was finished. My nails looked awful, you could see air or bubbles spots everywhere in my nails I was so pissed off that I paid and left and I really did not want to pay for such a crappy nail job.Then within 3 days the molded nails broke off leaving me with some weird looking nails. I had told them from the beginning if you cant do my nails its fine but they insisted on giving me a rushed , crap job so that they could charge me for something.
