From the moment we got on the shuttle, he was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely excited to share the history of Pearl Harbor. Not only did he explain everything we needed to know beforehand, he also shared tons of fun facts about Hawaii, local culture, and even pointed out some great spots to check out during our trip. My husband and I are seniors on a budget. We purchase the whole day Pearl Harbor tour almost $400 . We Got confused and we had some friends drop use off at the visitor center. We called and told the office we were at the visitor centers and wanted to know where to meet the group. The driver told us that we were out of luck and couldn't be with the group and that we would not get any money back . Very rude man . My husband and I have limited funds due to his retirement . BEWARE!!!! I booked and paid for this trip on 11/11/25 for a tour on 1/20/26. Shortly before I left for Hawaii I had not heard anything regarding my flight from Maui so I called this company. I was told I needed to do a credit card dispute on my $586 purchase and rebuy the tickets from them. Allegedly the company was sold (same number/website/email/name) but the current tours were not part of the deal so they were not honoring them. I refused to repay, did not get to visit Pearl Harbor, and have yet to get my $ back. read more

It wasn't a very good overall experience. Rushing around pretty much took all the enjoyment and appreciation for this historical site out. The email i got said to be at the Twin Fin hotel by 6:30am. We arrived at 6:20 or 6:21am as I like to be early for appointments. Around 8:30am we went back to the hotel so that I could call and see what was going on as no one showed up to pick us up. After a short and irritating conversation, they did send us a taxi to get us to the Arizona Memorial. By this time, we barely made the boat to take us to the Memorial. According to the staff member we met at the gate that had our tickets, we missed out on the film which I was very disappointed about. I really wanted to take everything in from this major historical site. From here, the experience got a little better because for the first time on this tour we weren't rushed to make it somewhere. The made room for us on the tour bus so that we could head to the Battleship Missouri. Once we were brought back to the Arizona Memorial site, the rushing around started again. We had barely half an hour to look through the submarine before meeting up with our next taxi so that we could rush again over to the airport for our helicopter ride. We were almost 1/2 hour late for the helicopter ride which in turned made another couple that were on the same ride, they had to wait as well. We didn't get an apology for the inconvenience, a credit for another tour, or even a partial refund. If you want to skip all that reading, to summarize this all, it was an okay experience but being forced to rush around and on major time constraints for the entire day ruined the entire experience. Do yourself a favor and just go to this historical sites. read more

From the call to their office to talk about options to the inter-island flight to the actual tour, we could not have asked for a better experience. Ozzy was our tour guide and he was absolutely fantastic about checking with us, making sure we knew where we would go next and how to get there and answering each and every question. He also suggested that we check at the airport to see if we could catch an earlier flight back to our island, and we did!! Saved us two hours of waiting at the airport. The experience was quite negative. Pearl Harbor Tour and the tour guide were extremely unprofessional. The evening before the tour, several guests, including me, received two texts of two different pickup locations. Another guest and I both replied to ask for confirmation but there's no response at all. I followed up the next morning at the pickup hotel via text, and finally got a call from Kenny, the tour guide. The first half of the morning was fine, until later on the bus, Kenny asked if anyone needed to be back in Waikiki at a certain time. Two couples mentioned that they'd have to be back by 3:30pm and 4pm for luau pickup, which perplexed the entire bus of guests because the scheduled return was around 5pm. I privately asked Kenny if we'd skip parts of the tour and he said no and that he'd just go to any off-the-beaten-path destinations that tour guides sometimes make. Nonetheless, that's not the case. We were not given enough time at various stops in the rest of the day. And there's absolutely no stopping in North Shore. It's just a drive-through, while the itinerary lists several stops in that region. When arriving at Dole Plantation, Kenny said there's only 15 minutes allotted when the itinerary states 30 minutes. Another couple was not happy about the shortened time, but Kenny said he usually gave 20 minutes at this attraction. The couple walked off the bus but that agitated Kenny, and he chased them for an argument. The couple kept walking, and I heard clearly that Kenny said: "Don't you disrespect me like that. I will just leave you here." Later when we arrived at the second hotel drop-off point, I noticed a $20 bill in the trash and told Kenny. He said not to pick it up. I suspect that's the tip that the couple left him. Lastly, Kenny sped on the highway, endangering the safety of everyone, trying to return to Waikki before 3:30pm. I, and I am sure along with the other guests, wondered how those two couples booked separate tours that cut into this day tour, when Viator or the official tour company website clearly spell out the end time. How could this tour operator permit this behavior, affecting the rights of the other guests? Why would everyone else need to compromise for four people who could not read the itinerary? And this tour operator furthered enabled the tour guide to cut the trip short. Those four people should've gotten their own transportation back to Waikiki, just like on the cruise ship, if someone missed the pickup time at a port, that person would be responsible for their own transportation back to the ship. Additionally, there's not even a single apology from those four morons nor Kenny. I already put the tour fee in dispute with my credit card company and informed Viator because this tour operator did not fulfill the service purchased. This company should give a partial refund to every guest on this tour, except for the four people who stupidly booked luau that affected the entire group. read more

Company made flying from Maui a breeze. We wanted to see everything related to Pearl Harbor and thoroughly enjoyed our guide, Cousin Shaq. We had a small group of four in a luxury vehicle. Could not have had a better experience! We were staying on the big island and I was a little worried when I booked the tour that there would be "loose ends", however the tour company took care of everything for us, including the flight. I received an email and a text message the day before our scheduled tour reminding us of where to meet when we arrived on the island. On the day of the tour, we just showed up at Kona airport, cleared security and walked out to the plane. Upon our arrival in Honolulu, Kalili "Junior", our tour guide arrived right on time to meet us. On the drive to Pearl Harbor (first stop) he explained how the day would be structured and gave us some great history about the island and about the events leading up to the attack on Pearl Harbor. We didn't wait in a single line, and our group was pre-cleared for entrance at every ticket booth at every attraction. We saw four different parks: The Pearl Harbor Memorial, the USS Bowfin submarine, the USS Missouri battleship, and Luke airfield complete with loads of planes! The tour guide got us started at each of the stops and we had ample time to take in the exhibits, films and activities of each one. We toured two attractions and then met back at the luxury van and drove downtown to take in the historic buildings and statues and sites. It was great to have a chance to rest halfway through the park tours. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and accommodating of the groups needs. After we toured the final two attractions, Junior dropped us all back at the airport for our flights back to where everyone was staying. I can't recommend this firm enough if you are staying on another island and want to take the historic Pearl Harbor. We booked the shorter Harbor tour visiting the Arizona Memorial and the Missouri destroyer. We even had a chance to visit the Punch Bowl Veterans Memorial Cemetery and the famous Judicial building seen on TV as the Hawaii Five-0 PoliceHeadquarters. Our guide, Loti, was the best we have ever had on a tour! Very knowledgeable and he was virtually un-stump-able when fielding questions; many from this group. We learned a lot about Hawaiian history, culture, and government in addition to descriptive details associated with local sites along the route. Loti was a pleasure and had a great sense of humor. My husband and I were scheduled to fly to Maui on 08/12/23, but unfortunately our flight, hotel, and excursions were all canceled due to the tragic fires that destroyed Lahaina. We were set to stay in Marriott Ocean Club Resort in the Lahaina area and had this tour scheduled for 08/16/23. The government officials were informing the public not to travel to the area and no tourist were allowed in the area. We contacted Pearl Harbor Tours and requested a refund due to the inability to go to Maui. They offer us a credit to use within the next 3 years. We are unable to go to Maui in the next few years so a credit would not be a possible option for us. The customer service agent we spoke with said they would request a refund in the case and should be completed in the next 7 days. After 10 days of your original contact date of the refund request we had not seen any refund made. We called Pearl Harbor Tours again and the customer service agent we spoke with said that we would not be getting a refund as the original customer service person we spoke to was incorrect in requesting the refund. We asked if he could speak to someone the maybe able to authorize a refund as of the natural disaster situation currently in Maui. The customer service agent said "No, he is the highest person we will be able to speak with. So now the Pearl Harbor Tours has our money of $1,068.12 we spent on the Pearl Harbor Tour that included a flight from Maui, ground transportation, and the tours. While there my girlfriend got sick and we ended up taking an ambulance ride to the ER! So we could not continue the tour. After we got back to hotel after leaving hospital, I sent a text to them asking if we could redo tour another day after explaining what happened. I thought would say no but they agreed to do another day! So we went another day and had a great trip! BUYER BEWARE!!! We paid for the "Mighty Mo" package, with included a city tour of Honolulu, and Punchbowl Crater. We went from the airport (flew in from Kauai for tour), to the Az Memorial & Battleship Missouri; and then straight back to the airport. No reasoning given from our tour guide for skipping the rest of the tour we were eagerly anticipating. Ended up sitting at the airport for a VERY long time, waiting for our flight back to Kauai. When the company was confronted, we got the runaround for a couple of weeks, only to receive a menial amount of refund. WE WERE CHEATED OUT OF 1/2 OF WHAT WE WERE PROMISED! We did the Pearl Harbor Remembered tour. Giving 1 star less only because this tour bus seems like you have a lot of time to do USS Arizona and USS Missouri and everything else they have there but you don't have enough time. We barely made it back to our bus and all we did was tour USS Arizona took the bus over to USS Missouri walked the top deck ate a quick hotdog lunch rushed back. I wish we had more time to do more of the tour. Ole I believe was our bus driver. He was awesome took us back 2000 years of history. VERY knowledgeable of island. Over all was an awesome experience.
