I wanted a baby but was so unsure. Andrew and his staff understood my pain and gave me time to sit with my new baby. They answered all my questions and concerns, even though I was somewhat a mess still at this point they were so understanding of my tears. I can say they made me feel like family. I strongly believe that with a great leadership that Andrew shows, this why his store and staff are all so amazing, just watching the way they interact with not only puppies but there customers as well is a BIG reason why I would recommend this exact store to anyone looking for a soul baby. I have to add while in the store there was a regular in there that was just a young kid, the way they treated him is a big reason of why I would go back, this kid was part of them you would have known no different the respect they showed him and he showed them melted my heart and the story behind him being there touched my soul, I am a mother of a special needs child and it was so great to see the love they all showed for this kid, I could see the love in his heart. Andrew you and all your staff are not just a 10 but a 10+ keep up the Great work. You all encouraged me to love again.

What I thought was really neat is that El Jefe was Tucson's first cat lounge and is named after the famous jaguar "El Jefe" that once roamed Southern Arizona. The lounge partners with local rescues, so every cat you meet is looking for a forever home. If you happen to fall in love with one (or five), you can even begin the adoption process! They've also have a café and gift shop inside for shopping and soaking up on the cat-themed atmosphere. They have everything from cat toys and journals to dish towels, keychains, cat ears, beanies, candles, and other fun cat-themed goodies. Each floor has its own little personality with climbing structures, cozy napping spots, and toys for the kitties to explore. Some cats wanted attention immediately, some were happily snoozing, and others gave me the classic "you may admire me from a respectful distance" look. Beyond regular lounge visits, they also host fun events like cat yoga, bingo, movie nights, crafts, and other themed activities. Whether you're looking to adopt, need a little serotonin boost, or simply want to spend an hour surrounded by adorable kitties, this is such a unique Tucson experience. Fair warning though... if you're a cat lover, don't be surprised if you leave with about 200 photos on your phone, a coffee in your hand, and a strong urge to adopt another furry friend.

This is a discount from the 7.99 that they are regularly if you only purchase one. But when my mother went into the store, they charged her 7.99 each (so I ended up with 5 bags instead of the 6 that I had originally sent her for). I had this issue before when I stopped by the South store. The first time, the South store told me because they had to transport things from the North store to the South, sometimes things were a little more at the South store (what?). I mentioned my issue to the North store a few weeks later and they told me the discount deal for this particular bag of seed was the same at both stores. Unfortunately, seems like the South store doesn't know this because this is the second time we haven't received the same deal. Looks like I'll just have to shop at the North store from now on -- although it would be nice if the deals are the same at both places.

The hateful and bigoted comments I had to listen to while I was shopping for dog food disappointed me greatly, and I mentioned to the young lady that she might just want to let people be who they were. She and the gentleman who were making laughs at somebody else's expense went into another part of the store. I told the cashier who was ringing me up that she ( the redhead with the bigotry) ought to keep her talk about her class to herself, because that was pretty goddamn offensive. There's a lot of places to buy dog food, and I will be investigating them shortly. I vote with my dollars, too.
