As a female rider I hate going in to shops simply because I usually get treated like I don't know what I'm talking about. The moment I walked through their doors Chris met me with a giant smile and listened to everything I said was happening with my bike. He was very professional and polite. Gave me rough estimates and all types of brands for the parts I may have been needing. I then towed my bike in and met Conner who was also super professional and met you with a smile! He brought my bike in and did a diagnostic and then fixed the problem. Which ended up being WAY cheaper than what we all figured the problem was! Honestly what a relief! Conner could have still charged me for the original problem I would have never known, but instead he was incredibly honest and helped me out! I honestly will never bring my bike to another shop! Took my 2002 Suzuki Hayabusa in and needed some work, and they have worked on my bike before. I gave Connor $1,500 upfront and every time I called he told me that he was waiting on a certain part that he was having a hard time getting...I asked him if I should come get the bike and take it somewhere else and he said "no, I have all the parts, I am just waiting on the wiring harness and I will keep you updated " never heard anything back and he closed the shop!!! I dropped my bike off about a year ago to have some work done. I checked in frequently and was told parts were ordered but had not come in yet. I went back in about 4 months ago and was told they had not ordered the parts but would order them. I was told it would be about $600 however once the bike was done they wanted $2000 and they were charging for storage as well. I noticed on marketplace that they had my bike up for sale. I never signed any paperwork. I went in to speak with them and the owner threatened to kick my butt then he called the police and said I was threatening him. The guy that came out must have thought I knew nothing about working on Harleys because he gave us the biggest bunch of BS imaginable. . I was selling my Yamaha dirtbike, and a potential buyer asked me if it was supposed to "sound like that". It sounded normal to me, but after he left I called Peak to ask them to take a quick listen, see if it sounds normal. When I got there, Connor came out with a stethoscope and listened to it on all sides, like a nurse. He then gave me the "bad news". The top end is shot, he said. Then he gave me the "worse news", the bottom end is shot as well. He told me the bike was on its "last few rides". He offered to buy the bike for parts. I have had this bike in for service at two different places in the past year, and neither of them mentioned a problem, so his catastrophic assessment seemed odd to me. Also... a stethoscope? It seemed weird. So I took the bike to a respected Yamaha service center. The mechanic there did two things: 1) Listened to the bike and told me that my Yamaha sounds like it should; 2) Told me emphatically that no one can make the claim that a bike is a few days away from dead after listening to it with a stethoscope. I called two other shops, they laughed at his use of a stethoscope. Connor has a lot of good reviews. Is he a Motorbike Whisperer, and all these other people just don't understand his genius? Maybe, or maybe he has fake reviews. Or maybe the praise is from people who had work done on their bikes that didn't have to be done. Be careful if you go in there. And maybe don't let him work on your bike (or proclaim it scrap) without getting a second opinion. I'm definitely not going back, there are many other places to choose from. read more

Bad business owner. Conner. Just a thief. I purchased a used snomobile over a month ago. With the understanding it was in working condition. I got it home and it would not start on day 1. Also while on the ride home a puddle of oil on my trailer appeared. Had to take it back. Said he swapped a battery and would deal with one problem at a time. Went to pick up a week later and says there's no oil leak. It was from draining previously. Well I take the machine out for the 1st time last weekend finally and guess what....still leaks. Call him today just for him to tell me he's gonna charge to fix a leak he said did not exist. Really? Wth? Wouldn't recommend this place at all. Scam shop. DO NOT, repeat, DO NOT trust your bike to Peak Performance. Took my 07 Super Glide in for what amounted to a front brake rebuild -- new disc, caliper, pads and brake fluid flush -- and was sent on my way with defective performance; high-pitched whistling and nasty scraping when applied and shaking, shuddering stops, and was told it could not be fixed because of the high-performance nature of the Arlen Ness brake disc kit I had them install. I could try, through, if I was willing to pay for another set of brake pads and another install charge, which at $100/hr and ultra-liberal clock management is reason enough to avoid these chisling little weasels. My next stop is the Better Business Bureau and whatever forums/bulletin boards I can find. Beware any service provider who tells you he is an honest man who wants to make people happy read more

I live far from this place and I had to come here multiple times to get my forks fixed because they were leaking and they were not able to fix it. They kept telling me it was fixed but it would leak again not too long after I rode my bike. I've been back like 5 or 6 times what a waste of time and money for no results and they didn't apologize either. They then told me what was causing the leak after coming in all those times and proceeded to charge me again without fixing it. I would stay away from this place. read more

I made an appointment with the owner, Connor, to have my tires changed on my Triumph Tiger 800. Even though I showed up 15 minutes early, he got me right back and got to work! Ryan, one of his mechanic did a great and speedy job remounting my tires and even helping me lash the old ones on the back of my bike for the quick ride home! 3 sweet dogs to play with while I waited and 45 minutes later I was on my way! Took forever..a year to do minor repair....never did job right...forgot to check compression first...idiots...little or no communication ...would eventually stop by to pay...no body home to collect....bike died as soon as I picked it up....never checked battery...bike then died 1/4 mole away....when asked to bring back to fix...stated needed to make another appointment a month out...really!?spent thosands there for a bike that never ran...had to have doa bike towed to another shop......yes all true....really...should get out of the business...giving bike mechanics a bad rap. read more

Had an ignition problem with my Yamaha enduro. Bottom line is they are not capable of performing diagnostics. Basically they throw parts at a problem and the bike still won't run. $500 to replace a coil, coil switch and a battery is a little over the top. Worst part is I have to tear it down and fix it myself now. read more

Horrible horrible HORRIBLE SERVICE! Brought 2 bikes in. The dirt bike, the guys charged us around 600.00 when all we wanted was to diagnose the problem with it. Didn't even fix it, had us go home with a still broken bike. Then dented the crap out of the other bike we brought and paid another 600 for and barely lowered the price at all. Then when we told the guy that we were probably just going to sell the dirt bike, he offered us 400 for it. When we paid over 600 for them to screw it up more. I dropped my shock off to have it rebuilt after a friend recommended this place, I was told it would take about two weeks. I called two weeks later and was told it was ready, but when I showed up it was not. I had to drive close to an hour to get there and nobody apologized or in any way indicated they were sorry about my having to make a useless trip on my day off. After another two weeks I called and was told the shock was ready (as a side note, I used to work in a shop and we called people when the work was done) - I told them I would be there that afternoon to get it. When I went to pick up the shock, the store was closed - the sign on the door said they were open until 5:00 and I got there at 4:50, but I guess they left early. I am still trying to find the time to get the shock, hopefully the mechanic's work is better than the support staff. Update: I finally picked my shock up - when I dropped it off I was told it would be $100-$150 dollars, depending on what parts were needed. When I go there, they charged me $250. I suggest you get a written estimate for any work to be performed before trusting your equipment to this shop. read more

Worst place ever. Took my ATV to have belt light reset. Got it back and cant find natural now. Charged me double what they quoted me, oh yeah it used to have 4 wheel drive but not any more! Took longer than they said to get it back so I could spend more money to take it to another place to hopefully get it fixed from this places mess ups. They have no clue how to work on stuff. Brough in my 2006 Suzuki GSXR for some minor repairs and inspection. I knew coming in here I needed a new battery and possibly other services. Upon inspection of the bike I was told that my rear break needed to be flushed in order to see if the break cylinder was in good condition. I was charged total for the inspection+battery+bleeding of rear break $220+. After picking up my bike, 2/3 miles outside of the shop my rear break fully locked. I could not move the bike at all and needed help from pedestrians. I called the shop at 4:00pm and left a message asking for some sort of help, after 3 tries I just gave up and called AAA. I was charged for the towing back to my house where I later fixed the issue myself with tools that I did not have on hand with me. The bike shop called me 4 days later with the most absurd customer service ever. They took my money, caused more problems to my bike and me and did not even try to apologize for the situation. Terrible customer service, stand offish attitude and very poor knowledge and skill in taking care of a motorcycle or the client. read more
