I went for my first float today and it definitely won't be my last. I did a 60 minute session in the float orb. I can sometimes struggle with claustrophobia but from start to end I felt great. I loved that there was a light in the orb if you wanted and that there was very relaxing music playing. I was impressed how easy it was to float and I look forward to future sessions where I can relax faster & really enjoy. I found the facility to be really well managed & clean. The room was equipped with everything you need from earplugs (really nice ones!), towel, flip flops, etc. They have you shower before & after and I liked that it was in the same space as the orb to make it easy. To all my fellow A.D.D. Pals out there, I know meditation is a struggle. I've tried doing plain meditation in my room, tried yoga, even sleeping isn't enough lol. But when it comes to needing a solid, deep sense of meditation, it seems like that is way out of your league... but not with float therapy!! I found these guys online and thought hmmm this is interesting. I thought ok kind of like a big bathtub. But being 6'7 and 350 pounds I do not and have not fit in a bathtub since I was a child. I just had my first float! It was awesome! The staff was friendly and the facility was clean. The only problem I had was that I couldn't clear my mind, which is apparently not uncommon for your first float. Also, that has nothing to do with their facility and more to do with my brain...not gonna knock them for my issues...lol I will definitely be back because I want to try a guided meditation for my next one. This place is out of this world. I have been visiting it for about 5 months on a weekly basis. The owner and staff are committed to health, wellness, helping me keep stress and anxiety in perspective and overall supporting me in living my best life. I drive about 40 min to get there even though there are float places closer to me because I feel so supported and understood. They have several layers of sanitizing the water between floats not the least of which is over 100 lb of Epsom salts that no bacteria or virus could ever survive. There is also UV treatment, hydrogen peroxide, and one more I cannot recall at the moment. If you have ever considered trying a zero sensory float experience, this is the place to go. read more

I was given two floats for my Birthday. I went in and the was shocked at how clean everything was. I chose the float room for the first time and did the pod my second time around. I did it enjoy it very much but with so much stress in my life I felt I didn't get the full affect. One downside was that our reservations over email was not in their system so we had to visit back and three of us were not able to do it at the same time. It's been about 12 years since I went on my first float. The first one felt a little bit like going into a coffin front side first. This float felt exponentially better. Rebecca greeted us warmly upon arrival and instructed us to sign in and watch the video. BTW, PAY ATTENTION to said video. It will have helpful tips like how to properly place your wax earplugs, really good advice on not splashing water in your eyes and the spray bottle you'll need once you splash water in your eyes. The relaxing environment added to the already calm vibe. She guided me to my pod, my hubby to the float room (which you'll appreciate if you're a bit of a claustrophobe) and after rinsing off in the shower, in I went to my pod. I thought 1 hour would be plenty but after letting go of my need to want to hold up my body instead of just floating I lost track of time. It really is just about letting go and letting be. First time floater - it was so worth it. I showed up for my appointment, filled out the newcomer form, and was shown to my room for my float. It was clean and cozy. They showed me how to use the pod, gave some brief instructions on what to do, and left me to relax. At first I thought I'd enjoy the lights dimmed, but it was much more soothing in the dark with the light music on. At 5'9", I'm not little, and I was able to fully relax with my arms and legs not touching anything. It gave me time to do some meditational breathing exercises, body scan relaxations, and then just quietly meditate and see where my thoughts go. I also have osteoarthritis in my knees, and after weeks of packing and renovating my home, I was limping regularly. I had been wanting to try float treatment for a while and my wife surprised me with my first visit. This was an incredible experience. My first float was in the room, looking forward to the pod on the next visit. There's no music or guided meditation in the rooms, only light control. Each room has a shower with a robe/towel and dressing area. First class customer service, Stephanie, and another woman did a great job explaining everything. Evan was very helpful and took great care in assisting me in any way I needed as I have Cerebral Palsy and was concerned about getting in the tank. Happy to say I was able to get in and out on my own but knowing help was only a button push away was reassuring. The epsom saltwater was quite a relief for the inflammation I've been experiencing in my hip. When my float time was up, I was able to walk out with very little pain. I am new to float therapy but was thrilled to see this place opened up so close to my house. When is went, I was 38 weeks pregnant and mentioned that in my notes for my appointment. Because of this they had some noodles for me to use that allowed me to float on my stomach in addition to my back. I felt great after my float and slept so well that night. This was a completely rejuvenating experience. I did an hour long float followed by 10 minutes of "light therapy", which is infrared rays and near infrared rays. I was just getting over a cold, and I noticed that it was completely gone after the light therapy and the float. I am also a recovering opiate addict and I swear that this should be a part of anyone's early recovery program, as the withdrawal symptoms disappeared after this experience. Been here a few times for floating and every time has been great, there pods are in great shape and everything feels clean. Im a taller guy and they have a specific orb tank for us taller people that works great where your not constantly touching the sides of the tank. (It allows full sensory deprivation for me) In room showers with great scented shampo and body wash (dosent feel like cheap soap) Provided wax earplugs are nice for a tight seal around the ears. My only complaint is, I wish I could play my own music in the pod. The music that is played is kinda spacey and repetitive. It can be turned off but Id like an option to play my own music. Other than that its a wonderful place, booking is extremely easy and they have tons of parking. Front desk staff is great. read more

I've been to peak performance float three times and I definitely think you need to go at least that many times to get used to it and really learn to relax and experience all it has to offer. It is extremely relaxing, and gives a very rested feeling afterward. Helped with my back pain too. Such a nice disconnect from a busy life. The only thing I had issues with the first two times is that my face would sweat and I'd need to scratch it during the float which distracted me. The third time I left my pod cracked open about 10 inches and it was just enough to ensure I didn't get cold from air and didn't have too much humidity causing perspiration.
