It was followed by no communication, help, or results with airfare, hotel recommendations/bookings , or tours over a 2-week period. I contacted Connoisseur directly to notify them of the lack of service and professionalism I had experienced. They responded with apologies, detailed questions and statements about how they planned to rectify the situation, and ideas about my Washington DC trip. With reservations, I decided to give the new associate a second chance because she seemed genuinely apologetic and knowledgeable. 2 weeks later my trip had not moved forward with Connoisseur's help. I ended up booking and reserving everything on my own and the prices had gone up because of all the time that had passed. I foolishly did not reach out to any other travel companies and trusted this company to help me and they failed. I am posting this review because I hope it helps others that might find themselves in my situation.

But here's something they don't advertise that is of GREAT VALUE: They can help you get your visa done FASTER than if you went through the process yourself because they are more connected with the consult than we are. Therefore if it normally takes a month to go through the application process, they can actually get it done in a week if you have all your stuff together. They don't advertise this but it's of great value.

He was highly recommended to me by friends who worked with Airbus and I'm very thankful for their recommendation. I first contacted Scott back in 2018 on behalf of a good friend that wanted to travel from D.C. to the Philippines to meet extended family for the first time. My friend had never flown before, in fact he had never set foot in an airport before, so flying half way around the world was a huge endeavor. I simply didn't have the experience to help him with this complex trip. Scott was wonderful throughout the entire process. He managed to book seats with more space (which my friend truly needed), the flight both ways had one only stop and my friend didn't need to change terminals (which would have been extremely stressful and confusing for him). Scott also arranged overseas health insurance and made reservations at a fantastic hotel in Manila. From start to finish, Scott worked all the issues, and my friend had the time of his life and a life changing experience. My friend had such a positive experience, he decided to visit the Philippines again the summer of 2020. I once again contacted Scott to help facilitate this second trip. Scott and I started the reservation process well in advance in February 2020, and shortly after, the trip was finalized. Then Covid-19 hit and the Philippines was hit very hard. Travel was too risky and too restrictive so I contacted Scott and inquired about canceling the trip to get a refund. Scott stepped right in and worked the issue. The entire trip was canceled and my friend received a refund. Now that restrictions have lifted in the Philippines, my friend is again making plans to travel there this summer. I'm currently in touch with Scott and he is working his magic again by arranging a trip for my friend this summer with all the same requirements. I am confident this trip will be as spectacular as the first time and certainly won't be the last. I know this review is lengthy but it is my first review and it covers 4 years of doing business with Scott. I know I will be writing many more reviews in the future for my friend and for my family. I first heard about her from my former co-worker who swore she was the BEST travel agent that anyone could dream of. Since then, I have switched jobs and moved to Texas from Maryland, and I still contact her in the year 2019 to book all my international trips. Until I discovered Mrs. Yoon, I thought using online search engines to find cheap airfare was good enough. However, trust me on this and give her a call when you are booking your international trips. Mrs. Yoon is extremely responsive and she actually can find you much cheaper and better tickets. In 2014, I had a family emergency and had to fly to South Korea asap. I began online searching and called airlines frantically to get a ticket, and the cheapest one I found was over $2300. I messaged Mrs. Yoon, and she immediately found another ticket at a significantly cheaper price. Like the review before states, this trail is a feast for your eyes! It hugs along the Potomac…read moreRiver with beautiful views in between the trees on one side and sheer rock faces on the other. There are many creeks and streams that traverse the path on their way to going the Potomac. Despite going on Labor Day late morning/early afternoon, I only saw a handful of people several of whom were running with their dogs (no worries, no doggie land mines were encountered). I picked up the trail at the Theodore Roosevelt Island parking lot. There is a dirt footpath that goes from here to the American Legion Bridge (10 miles) and as mentioned before almost all of it is shaded. It may extend further, but I turned around at this point! There are parts were you will have to slow down your jog due to some uneven, rocky footing but have no fear, there are long stretches perfect for running. Someone must have come by and cleaned up the litter because it was pristine today! Huzzah!
