Jeannine made sure each detail with the transport to and around the islands were taken care of. My wife and I just showed up and enjoyed the experience. In addition to all that, Jeannine made sure to find the timeframe we desired while keeping the budget manageable. She even arranged everything in a short time!!! As far as my wife and I are concerned, she is our permanent travel agent (lol). I highly recommend using her!!!!!

I reached out to Jeannine and she helped us through it. After talking with me, we decided on Germany and Austria, Munich and Salzburg specifically. With our interests in mind, and some imagination on her part, she mocked up an itinerary for us. Since we were flexible on dates there was some back and forth on exact dates and activities. She patiently worked with us to plan an itinerary that we liked and after realizing our trip was longer than initially thought, also worked in a few days in Innsbruck. The trip was great. We had two small hiccups while in country but Jeannine quickly and flawlessly worked it out. It was great to be able to shoot her an email and know she would work it out, we could continue on our trip stress free. You're in good hands with Jeannine.

There…read moreweren't any in-person agents available to see me, so the receptionist asked me to talk to an agent on the phone, gave me some scrap paper, and set me down in a random empty seat to talk to an agent on the phone. Unusual, but I went with it. I did end up getting a policy that was a decent price through Progressive (AAA partners with a number of other insurances in the area to give you the best deal), but my representative ended up adding my card to someone else's policy because she accidentally had their window open while taking my card information, which has ended up in $410.20 of excessive charges on my card, $167 of which has been refunded as soon as the OTHER customer realized the mistake, not the agent! The agent then insisted the issue is fixed, and then the rest hit me as re-occurring charges which is now supposedly fixed again but the refund is now stuck in limbo for a month while Progressive tries to send me a check via snail mail!... Totally unacceptable that they'd put my card info in someone else's account and then take so long to get the money back to me. Highly disappointed in my experience here.

Did you know AAA members can use the notary services!…read more I've been a AAA member since 2009 and have rarely used my benefits as I'd considered it more like insurance for "when" I needed the car towed or "when" I leave the lights on and need a jumpstart. I'd never considered using there travel services until my husband suggested it as an alternative to going to the post office for a new passport photograph. I went into the AAA office with 4 tasks and a short timeline: - Get Passport Photos (the local post office stops photographs at 2PM) - Update my membership to my married name - Notarize a name change document - Get a TripTik for upcoming travel to the far reaches of British Columbia The best part about my experience is that I was able to have the same person help me with all the tasks. The second best part was I didn't have to wait long (less than 30min from arrival to out the door) for all tasks to be checked off my to-do list. Based on my experience, I'd be willing to consider using AAA for travel services more broadly. The one statement that proved to me AAA was no longer "my parents" AAA was when then said, "well, sometimes you find a better deal on lodging using AirBnB!" Can you imagine? The old diamond system still has some value, but it was a welcome sound to hear that AAA understood the direction of more technically savy travelers.

This practically-a-scam-operation preys upon desperate people unfamiliar with the State Department passport renewal process and are looking for a quick fix to their problems. This "business" will *ONLY* doublecheck your forms for completeness and express mail them to a Passport office with an available appointment. That's it. Should you have *ANY* problem with your passport (like we did), they are wholly incapable of providing helpful troubleshooting services or status updates -- everything fell back on us to verify with the State Dept. Believe it or not, the owner (Paul) unprofessionally escalated an argument with my husband, called him an "a$$h0le," and cruelly reduced him to tears by saying he didn't deserve to attend his best friend's wedding in Mexico. What was our great offense to trigger such an outburst? Fact: requesting daily updates and assistance to better understand State Dept processing timelines. (You know, supposedly Legal Passport's area of expertise??) On top of that, now that problems became apparent, they then had the audacity to insist we sign a "Refund policy" waiving all rights to reclaiming our $700 fee for their so-called service. Who does that?? Furthermore, Legal Passport introduced several unnecessary delays by their incompetence. For instance, the State Dept emailed us 5 weeks after beginning things indicating that our check-payment for expedited processing couldn't be accepted. Legal Passport failed to provide a form verification of this essential component of the application. Even worse, once the passport had finally been delivered to them, their Houston courier contacted us later that afternoon indicating he hadn't been sent the money to overnight mail us the renewed passport -- even though we had just spoken and sent it into their office that morning!! Recommendation: Save yourself the hassle and work with the State Department passport renewal agency directly. Legal Passport will take your money and not help.

Down to our airline seating preference, no detail of the trip was overlooked. We simply gave Guido an idea of what we wanted to see & do and he did the rest. Only an experienced agent of the highest caliber could have handled our late in the planning process schedule changes. A few weeks before departure a package arrived with everything from travel bags to luggage tags, detailed itinerary, maps, vouchers, and suggested restaurants at each city along the way. Guido then set up a meeting to go over every page to aaddress any questions or concerns we may have had. Once in Italy, Guido called the Venetian restaurant where we were dining to make sure everything was going well. In Rome, the hotel clerk had a message for us from Guido, whom she had worked with for years. In Italy, everyone knows Guido. Simply put; Bethesda Travel should be the first stop for anyone planning a vacation.

Hotels, transportation, tours, and tour guides--all planned to perfection and excellent. The hotels were in perfect locations, all the tours were private with priority entry into the busy attractions (no waiting in lines!), and most of the tour guides had 10-20+ years of guide experience with education in history and/or architecture matching the tour. Also, having them provide train and airline reservations and drivers eliminated all stress getting from one place to another on time and kept us from driving and getting lost in crazy city traffic. If you want a no-worry, low stress vacation while seeing many attractions in an European country, Bethesda Travel Center is the place to go. Worth every penny and highly recommended!
