Horrible company. Process to upload documents has horrible interface. When I started the process the first step was very easy and they charged my CC $187.00 so I thought. After not being able to upload all of my documents and not being able to get help from customer service. I called my cc company to cancel my purchase only to find out I was going to be charged $571.16. I called back into their 800 numbe got a rep had them cancel my order and told them how horrible the process was and that I should have done my homework and read all the bad reviews. read more

Wish there was less than one star. I needed visas for Cambodia and Vietnam and our tour company recommended VisaCentral. I did all my paperwork and submitted for processing. I heard nothing back, just a contact us when I checked the status of my order. I was on hold for 45 mins before getting a customer service rep. She checked with the person who was processing my order and told me everything was fine and that they needed nothing more from me. Two days later I get an email asking for more info. It was all the same info I had entered online to begin this process, but ok. Then I get a request for more info. Another 50 min wait on hold and again, they lie to me and tell me we are all good. After waiting a 3rd time for 40 mins, I'd had it. They assured me that this time we were really good. They sent my passport back to my old address and didn't bother to actually put my Cambodia visa into my passport. I did get Vietnam bc that is electronic. Now I'm waiting for someone to contact me as I'm not sitting on hold for 45 mins again. DO NOT USE THEM. You can do it all on your own, quicker and much cheaper. A travel agent recommended VisaCentral to obtain our China Visas to travel to visit our 24 year old son in China. He's an English Teacher there and my husband and I would like to see him before his 25th birthday. We started the application on July 30th, 2024 and today August 29th, 2024, I've been on hold for 1 hr and 37 minutes to ask for an update. VisaCentral did not inform us that my husband's name was entered incorrectly by THEIR staff in the Chinese Visa Application they submitted 3 weeks ago. I tried several times to get this issue resolved since the person assigned to our applications sent an email requesting a "new application." We were not able to enter a new application in their system because everything was submitted correctly in our part. Our tickets and hotels were booked to leave 5 days from today and we don't have our passports back. I had to write this review to help other parents trying to visit their children overseas to avoid using this company. They lack customer service and there is no one responsible for their incompetency. I'm a sad mother and I hope someone in their company reads this! read more

Disaster. Associated with Abercrombie & Kent. Applied for visa to Jordan. I was charged passport protection without being asked, nor was it an option on the site; paid $78 for their fee and $57 which they said was a consulate fee; my traveling companion was told it was a rush fee. I called to dispute the passport protection charge and was on hold for 1 hour and 22 minutes. After Visa Central acknowledging it is not offered but added, they refunded the passport protection portion. Today, I finally received the evisa email indicating visa is complete; their instructions there say visa is visible and downloadable on page 2; there is no page 2. Now I have been on hold for 37 minutes so far, but the automated system initially said it would be 11 minutes. I agree that their service representatives try to be helpful, but it is clear they do not receive the support they need. All this to say, use another company. read more

HORRIBLE! After I booked my ticket's through Amex, they suggested that I get my Visa to Vietnam through VisaCentral. After exploring the website, the only $$ they mention is a 150.00/person fee and 46.00 to ship the documents to them, which was a tad expensive but still reasonable to get everything done. I fill out the application for myself and my husband and decide to upload our photo's because we didn't want to waste time to drive somewhere and have the pictures taken. We get all our documents together, use their UPS shipping label and off they went. We did receive email confirmations at every step of the process (when they recieved the passports, that it was being processed, then the tracking when they shipped it back out) which was useful.. but then.. I received the invoice. Here is it itemized: Vietnam Tourist Consular Fee : 2 people @ 70.00 each = 140.00 Vietnam Tourist Standard Fee: 2 people @ 149.00 each = 298.00 UPS Next day air: 46.00 Consular processing fee (5.9%): 8.26 Digital photo service: 2 people @ 26.00 each = 52.00 !!! Inbound shipping label: 42.00 TOTAL: 586.26 FOR TWO 1 MONTH VISA'S TO VIETNAM!! My friend just came back from there and he said he got a 5 year visa to Vietnam for $70 and that included the visa, shipping to and from the agency and the pictures. DO NOT USE VISA CENTRAL! We used Visa Central to get visa's to China. They were referred by the tour group we were using for the trip. They processed our applications fine but my issue is the extra fees they tack on without even asking. We were charged for Passport Protection at $40 each person and I never requested this item. We were also charged $57 for rush service. I also didn't ask for this order to be rushed. When I inquired with them, they refunded the Passport Protection charges but told me the Rush surcharge would stand because I requested the Visa's back within 13 days after they received them. This was not indicated anywhere on their website. I will never use them again. They are misleading and deceitful with their business practices. read more

My wife and I were taking a Princess cruise from Singapore to China, and needed a multi-destination visa. Princess referred us to VisaCentral via our itinerary information on their website. Rather than going to consulate ourselves (who has that kind of time?), we chose to use VisaCentral. We would give their internal people 5 starts as the two we talked to (one in customer service and the other in billing) were very good. We also got two calls from live people during the process informing us of the status of the application. All in all, they were very "high touch". The reason for the three stars is that their website kind of puts the fear of God into you in order to upsell you on their services. I'm grateful I chose not to get expedited service, to have them complete the application for me, or to use the concierge service. We sent it to them two months in advance of our trip; and less than a week later from when I sent the application in, we are scheduled to have everything back today. I will update this post if anything is amiss. You can probably save some additional money not using their $41 UPS Next Day Air label. On a side note, the invoice we received billed us for their passport replacement service ($35 each). We did not ask for or need this service (our passports were in pristine condition with plenty of empty pages); and when I called their Billing department, they offered to credit that $70 back to our account without hesitation. I told her please call me back if the phone drop again and she did not even want to ask my phone number. This business is not managed well and I hope no one have the same situation like me when I asked how can I verify my visa has been granted - she gave me a number to call and it's in Australia. Ripoff report! I heard about VisaCentral after booking a flight to Sydney on United. United (and other companies) take a cut when they encourage you to use this overpriced service rather than get your visa directly at the country's consulate. In this case, VisaCentral wanted to charge me US$50 to submit an electronic visa application that only costs about $15 (AUS$20) on the Australian ETA website. I don't mind a reasonable processing/service fee, but this is an exorbitant rip off. Getting 3 visas for my family at VisaCentral would cost me over $100 more than getting them directly through Australia ETA website, which is just as fast and convenient. Eek! Methinks not VisaCentral. read more

After booking a flight to the Philippines, I received an ad from the travel company for visacentral.com, pointing out that I may need a visa. Of course, I already know that I do not need a visa but I was curious and clicked on the link. I put in my travel information and dates and was told I needed a visa for my visit, at the cost of over $40. I declined all other services, such as concierge. I contacted VisaCentral to find out if we would need a visa for our Norwegian cruise ship stops in Oman and Turkey, and they told us we would need to apply for electronic visas. On the official Turkish e-visa website, it clearly states that cruise ship passengers do not require a visa. I called VisaCentral to let them know, and all they wanted to do was argue with me. I suggested that they review and update their information, and they still just wanted to argue with me saying their information is correct. They told me to call the cruise line if I didn't like their answer. So I checked with the cruise line, and yup, I was correct, you don't need a visa for Turkey or Oman. Don't trust the information you get from VisaCentral! It would have caused us a lot of unnecessary time and expense if we followed their advice! read more

I tried to work with Visa Central to obtain an evisa to Egypt but did not have a good experience. I called multiple times to get information and different phone reps quoted me differing rates for their evisa service so that was very concerning. The other problem I encountered was that their application requires a yellow fever certificate for all US applicants- this is crazy because the CDC doesn't require a yellow fever vaccine for US applicants and the country of Egypt does not require a yellow fever certificate from US applicants on their evisa site. read more

Use anyone else but them! Worked with my AAA travel agent to submit application for Brazilian visa. We were told 16 working days which immediately changed to 24 when submitted. Brazilian consulate website in Chicago states only 8 working days to process. VisaCentral advertises their fee as $129. Add this to $160 for visa, cost should be somewhere around $289. I got a bill for $474.60. I was charged: a non-online order fee even though we submitted the application online; passport replacement service which we never asked for; and inbound shipping label which should have been part of their fee. The travel agent caught it right away and contacted them. They agreed it was incorrect and said they would refund the charges. A month later nothing had been refunded and the agent had contact them again to get the refund. I'm convinced that had it not been for the AAA travel agent, I would never have received the refunds. I sure wish I didn't have to give them one star as they do not deserve it. It takes 72 hours to get a India eVisa. Three weeks later I still do not have mine. My Visa came back with my name spelled wrong and they have been unable to get it fixed. Today they admitted they cannot figure mine out and gave me a full refund. If they cannot get my name correct on a Visa, why are they in business? Seriously people, go directly to the country websites or make sure you are using a reputable company to help you. Guys, Please don't go through this website. they are running scam and looting people. as a first time member/traveller to Europe, i searched in google how to book an appointment for schengen, as i was going to cover 3 countries, and i was told, i should book for first country. so i did. they booked an appointment for me at german consulate for 158$. which is absolutely free on German's consulate website. when i went to german consulate office, they said, they can't submit my applications as i should be applying to other embassy. as i have more days there and they returned my application. i told the same thing to visacenter and they refused to help at all and refused to refund any money at all. explaining it to me that i accepted their terms and conditions. request to anyone looking for schengen visa, please don't go through their website, you can easily book an appointment from consulate website and that's free of cost. they are just making money of people's unawareness.
